  1. I have just updated the CSS in the article. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  2. Do you have a product installed that is allowing you to preview the PDF in the browser? These often have buttons that need to be clicked to move between pages. If not, please provide a link to the page or the PDF so that we can test it.
  3. If you want to take online payments using the Commerce features of a Squarespace website, you'll need to use Stripe and/or PayPal. These are currently the only choices for online payment. Square is not supported for online commerce transactions (it can only be used for Point of Sale transactions and for Acuity Scheduling). If you want to use another payment method, you'll need to accept sales enquiries via the Squarespace website, but then deal with the customer offline regarding order processing and payment.
  4. Nothing should be preventing the search engines from finding your site content. Your sitemap is up to date and correctly references your content but, as I mentioned above, there is very little unique content to index at the moment. Also, you have some pages with demo content and, as these will contain the same content as thousands of Squarespace sites, this will be considered "duplicate" content, which is another reason not to index the content. For example, you'll want to disable the store-1 page (last edited on Feb 26) as it contains the Squarespace placeholder text of "It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference." Let us know how you get on.
  5. Can you provide a link to the store and help us to understand why you need to add a product to more than one store?
  6. Hi Anna I understand how frustrating it can be when your site is live but hasn't been indexed. I'm no SEO expert and I haven't seen your Google report but I can tell you: There aren't any technical issues affecting the site. There's nothing that Squarespace or GoDaddy can do improve your discoverability. I couldn't find any sites that link to your site. "Backlinks" would help to link your site to other relevant content. The site content may have been optimised, but the content is "thin". For example, your homepage only contains around 120 words, which may not be enough to convince search engines that the content is worth indexing. As I said, I'm not an SEO expert, but I understand search engines typically want to see more than 300 words on a page to rank it. If it were me, I'd add a lot more text content to the site and then I'd re-submit the updated sitemap. (Here's another post where I commented on thin content.) I hope this helps. As an aside (unrelated to discoverability) I recommend that you add the 'opt-out' option to your cookie banner. You'll find more details in this post. Did this help? 7. Please check the uploaded file contains more than one page. The entire PDF file will be downloaded.
  8. Please provide a link to the website.
  9. You can remove the cart icon from your Squarespace 7.1 header as follows: 1. Click Edit on any page on your site, then click Edit Site Header. 2. In the window that appears, click Elements. 3. Toggle the Cart option to off. 4. Click out of the window, then hover over Done and click Save. There's a setting to hide prices in your Squarespace 7.1 store. To hide prices: 1. Go to the store page 2. Click EDIT to edit the store page. 3. Click EDIT SECTION in the panel that appears. 4. Scroll down to SHOW PRICE and choose Hide. Did this help? 10. Although you stated that you want to share a YouTube livestream, if you want to privately share a livestream via a member area on Squarespace, you may be better using one of the paid services that offer this feature. For example, you could embed a livestream using Vimeo. They offer features including passwords and embed permissions to keep private streams secure. Did this help? 11. Hi Denise. I wrote that guide primarily for Squarespace 7.1 so, as you are using a Brine family template (Squarespace 7.0) you’ll need to disable Ajax Page Loading in the Site Styles panel for it to work without a refresh. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  12. If your friend cannot enter a US address, it usually indicates that a shipping profile has not been added for this country. Although you can set a default address, if one of your shipping profiles includes the US (or "Rest of the world") then other countries should be available for them to select. You can check your shipping profiles in Commerce > Shipping. You'll see that each shipping option lists the countries to which it applies. Did this help? 13. It isn't possible to change the product status when a product sells out, but you can hide the product(s) from the Product List Page (PLP) by adding this to Design > Custom CSS: /* Hide sold out products on PLP */ .grid-item.post-type-store-item.sold-out { display: none; } The product will then automatically reappear when stock is replenished. Circumstances can be different from store to store but, for the benefit of anyone reading this, I'd usually recommend showing the sold out products, not hiding them. A bold 'sold out' label typically communicates that your products are in demand and could encourage sales. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  14. The download link is unique for each purchaser, and expires 24 hours after the purchase. If the original customer doesn't download the file within 24 hours, when they click the expired link, a new link will be emailed to the original purchaser. This new will also expire within 24 hours. 15. You can fix this by adding a description to each video in Vimeo 🙂. To do this: Log on to Vimeo Go to the Library Click on the title of your video Click on the description field below the player and edit it Press return/Enter on your keyboard or click outside of the field to save your changes. 16. This is a technical issue with the Squarespace platform. When something isn't working as expected, please contact Squarespace Customer Care directly. This is the quickest way to get it resolved. @SnapperGB As a Circle member, please see this post. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  17. It isn’t possible to change that phrase (or any wording!) on the checkout page. It isn't possible to edit that part of the email notifications either. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  18. It simply isn’t possible to do this with a file hosted on Squarespace.
  19. Please see Email notifications for Squarespace Scheduling clients. You can customise templates by appointment type if required.
  20. It isn't possible to migrate them automatically, but you can email these customers and explain how to access the new member area. If they are already paying for membership through the subscription product, you can provide them with a discount code to allow them to 'purchase' access to the member area without paying again. 21. If you have already tried to force reload your site within the browser, please contact Squarespace Customer Care directly about this error.
  22. At this time, the best on-platform workaround I can suggest is to offer a 'deposit' service product and a 'balance' service product. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  23. I see you are on a Brine-family template on v7.0. Try adding this to Design > Custom CSS: .Header-account .user-accounts-icon .Icon--user-accounts { cursor: pointer; } Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  24. This is an issue when you use variants as a proxy for the quantity. You'll also be unable to track inventory easily, as each variant (0.5m, 1m, 2m) will have a separate stock level. For example, selling two half-metre variants will not alter the stock level of the one metre variant. There are a number of ways to tackle this, but it will depend on whether you want to change it on the Product List Page (PLP) only, or on the Product Detail Page (PDP) too. A possible workaround for the pricing is to add text to the store page that indicates that all pricing is for a half-metre. I know of fabric stores that link to a reference page explaining why fabrics are sold in half-metre lengths 🙂. Another workaround would be to add a suffix to the prices on the PLP, so that each one shows something similar to "£6.00 per half-metre". Finally, some script could be written to double the cost of the prices on the PLP so that they are shown per metre. However, as @creedon has commented already in this thread, this isn't as straightforward and may need to be re-written when Squarespace make changes to the platform. I hope this gets you started. If you need further help, I recommend that you include a working link to the site. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️
  25. I am not seeing this issue on other sites. Can you provide a working link to this site?
