Site URL: https://www.koryrussellart.com So I don't like the two options for checkout; one, it takes you directly to the checkout process as soon as you add something to your cart, the other, you have to search for your cart to check out. I'm not sure that it's entirely intuitive if you don't know where to find the cart. It's just different than most sites I'm used to using where you add something to your cart and it says "continue shopping" or "checkout." Is there something better than the two options I have. Also, I imported Etsy reviews and it took the cart away entirely. I had to get rid of them for the cart to come back up.
  2. Is there any way to enable Afterpay for scheduling purchases? I sell appointments and people obviously want payment plans. The PayPal pay-in-4 option is so unreliable I’ve never seen it work on my site. Im out of options to give to my clients, other than a service like Partial.ly or Splitit. Does anyone know of solutions that offer a code at checkout, taking you to another payment processor that splits and takes the payment for you?

(Directly to my email would be ideal) Does Squarespace not have an option for this? Seems easy enough to add an option to checkout that requires customers submit an image before completing their purchase.

If variant limitations weren't a thing I'd have an Album Colour option which would have 12 options, but this is expending my variant limit, hence the Custom Form. The trouble is it doesn't look particularly nice! Also, in an ideal world I would include a field below Cover Text if a customer selected Yes, in order to capture the text they want to include (with a character limit since it's an ideal world) - rather than have it on the customer form. Is this possible somehow? Help most appreciated!
  5. I'm a jeweller and have been a little overwhelmed with orders recently. I'm trying to figure out how to stop people placing orders for a couple of weeks so I can catch up and maybe have a day off! I'm sure I have done this before a few years ago but can't figure it out now. TIA

  7. I see that Paypal and Stripe are payment processors with Square Space. I have a Revolut Business Account and would like to avail of their Merchant account to allow me to receive payments from online sources and via payment links (very similar to Paypal & Stripe). It is much more cost effective, with better transaction rates and I already have an account with them. Is it possible to connect Revolut Merchant as a payment processor for my squarespace commerce site?

I've had a few reports from my customers that when hitting "purchase" at the checkout page, it shows "completing your order" loading page and then goes directly back to the checkout page without actually processing the order. It seems that when this happens, they've tried on mobile or a different web browser or have simply just come back to their cart at a later time and all of a sudden it works. I've done a "test" purchase myself and everything has gone smoothly. I've double checked that everything under checkout and payments are accurate. Has anyone had this happen to them? Do we know what is causing this? My worry is that this is happening more often that I'm unaware of and people are abandoning their carts because of it. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

I want to display my services using a Store Page, but changing the "Add To Cart" button to "Reserve Your Date," which would redirect to my Scheduling app either in a pop-up or another page. I managed to get rid of the "Add To Cart" button altogether with CSS and now just have a link for "Reserve Your Date." But I love to look of a button instead. Any tips with CSS? =)

  14. Hi, I am looking to add a button or option to the checkout, where customers can add a gift bag for an extra cost to their cart. I've been experimenting and decided that using the variant option is not ideal as it causes an error message, which could put off customers from buying. Instead I would like to let customers choose at checkout whether they would like the product to be sent to them with a gift bag. Any ideas (including coding as it seems there is not squarespace solution for this at the moment) would be greatly appreciated.

  18. Site URL: https://www.wallmynft.io Basically it is essential our customers send us a .png/.jpeg image in order for us to process their order. We need the image to create the custom poster, print and send. Without this ability our business cannot launch using squarespace and it would be a shame considering the amount of effort we've put into our current site. Is there a way customers can upload files at the checkout? or be redirected to a dropbox request folder after purchase (not ideal) as we'd then also need a prompt message notifying customers of the upcoming redirection and to be ready. to access site - password: wallmy123
  19. I tried searching for this. While I'm aware of the 'abandoned cart' emails that can be sent, my question isn't about that. I'm wanting to know - can a customer leave items in the cart indefinitely, tying up inventory? Or does Squarespace clear it out after some time? Or can a second customer add the same item (where inventory=1) and buy it out from under the first customer who is sitting on it in the cart? I'm an artist selling original artwork, so that's why I'm concerned. I looked but haven't seen any settings to manage this. Does this setting exist, or is it handled automatically?

The button that says "Continue shopping" when you have no items in cart 2. The button that says "Checkout" when you have items in cart. I have used custom CSS, to change the "add to cart" button to have the wanted effect. I just can't implement the same CSS to those other two buttons. Everything was working just fine until the client notified me that the button no longer shows on mobile view. Here's the code.   22. Hello Everyone, I am selling a coaching session, and I want a mandatory checklist to the process. For example, when a person initiates a purchase (one a single session), I want to make sure they click 5 checkboxes, each with a disclaimer (such as the fact that I do not offer refunds) before I process for payment.   23. Good evening, I have been trying all day to link the scheduling calendar to my checkout page, giving the customer the opportunity to schedule pick up after all items have been added to cart. Ive been close but no cigar. For some reason I can't edit the checkout page to embed the code. Would anyone have a way to get this done... please and thank you in advance.
