  2. When adding a product to your cart, I am aware of the express checkout option, however, is there any plug-ins that offer a pop-up that says 'go directly to checkout' or 'continue shopping' (similar to the image attached). Thank you!
  3. Site URL: https://www.gillettecamels.com I know how to require a minimum order amount before Point of Sale checkout, but I really need a solution for credit/debit cards specifically. My client runs a concession stand and if someone buys a $1.00 candy bar and wants to pay with a card, the processing fees eat a lot of that. Is there any other option to add a service fee for card purchases that are below a minimum amount... say $10?
  4. Good evening, I have been trying all day to link the scheduling calendar to my checkout page, giving the customer the opportunity to schedule pick up after all items have been added to cart. Ive been close but no cigar. For some reason I can't edit the checkout page to embed the code. Would anyone have a way to get this done... please and thank you in advance.
  5. Hi. I need a date picker for my store, when I edit the checkout -> Additional Fields -> Edit custom form I have the possibility to add custom form input for my checkout page. But the default date input is not a date picker. Do I have the possibility to add a custom form to my checkout using HTML/CSS ? I heard it can't be done with the checkout form for security reasons. Is this possible to add this kind of input for every product at once instead of editing it one by one ? Thank you for your help.
  6. Site URL: https://debbasgourmet.com/ Our site has had a lot of drop-offs once someone has added to cart, and we're pretty certain it's due to seeing the cost of shipping. We want to add something during checkout or the shopping cart page that pops up saying "Don't forget! Free shipping at $49 or more!" Squarespace has informed me they don't offer this, so I'm seeing if anyone has had a similar issue and resolved it?
  7. I'm setting up a paid service which includes capturing details to start an email sequence in Active Campaign. The issue is, when adding a form at checkout it goes into the Squarespace system, there is no way of connecting it through Zapier to feed the data to Active Campaign. Has anyone found a way around this? Another option is to re-direct customers after payment to a page with a standard Squarespace form but this also can't be done within the system. Can anyone help?
  8. Has there been any news about an implementation of a Minimum Item Quantity Purchase for individual products? I saw that a minimum order subtotal was implemented, but that doesn't help my situation. Right now I'm using a work-around for each item page, but the customers can change the quantity in checkout to below the minimum. From what I read, I'm not the only person who's been wanting a feature similar to the attached image. Has there been any progress or work done in that area? It's the number one thing that I'm missing from Squarespace that other platforms offer.

  10. Site URL: https://www.barboxsports.com Hello, I am trying to create a system where when a customer checks out, a google sheet is automatically updated. I have created a dedicated server that simply needs to be called with an order number parameter which I have set up to occur at checkout, however the supplied orderId variable (supplied by Squarespace) is usually incorrect. I will check the console and see that the URL is being provided with an ID that is roughly 50 orders behind, however when I check the source the number seems to be correct (see my screenshot for an example of an orderId which should be 153 but orderId 107 was called). Occasionally the correct ID will be used and everything will work as intended. What's even stranger is the incorrect/old IDs are counting up. I'm not sure where I would post this to support so I figured I would ask here first. Any help would be much appreciated.

I injected a code that showed a line," By continuing to checkout, you have read and agreed to our terms and condiotions" both on pc screen and phone. This was working perfectly fine until few days ago I applied a code on my home page for fetching the customer reviews from google- https://www.frillup.ch/. Now this terms and conditions line has disappeared from the shopping cart page. What can I do? Site URL: https://foreverincrystal.com/customize-your-order I am working on a custom checkout process for a customer that allows their products to be customized with either a message or image on any selected product. After significant research and testing, I've determined that the best solution is to create a custom form (using getform) that the customer is redirected to after completing their checkout. I use the following script to redirect the user to the customize order form: <script> window.location.replace("/customize-your-order"); </script> Everything works great, the redirect happens correctly, and the form submissions appears and works when the fields are completed. The issue is that the user experience is not ideal. As a customer, I need to know my order number and other detailed to manually input them in the form. I'd like to pass the orderId to the customize-your-order form so that I can preload the fields for the user. Does anyone know if there is a way for me to pass the orderId to the custom squarespace page on redirect so that I can get the order details and preload them for the user? Side note, if anyone has any suggestions for a better way to add either a message or image a product, I am open to suggestions. The requirement is that if an image can be upload when selecting the product to add to the cart, that image must also be able to be changed in the shopping cart. I found that this is not possible leading me to my current approach.

Site URL: https://www.diegoalary.com/ hello, i have a big problem on a site i have to upload tomorrow for a client. he pulls out his cookbook and I created his site on squarespace www.diegoalary.com / password: okokokok. it's a very simple site with an express checkout. the problem is that when the customer clicks on "pre-order" and he lands on the checkout page, in the summary of the order he is shown a shipping price when he has not even entered his address. This is a big deal for my client who has fans all over the world and doesn't want those clients to see a wrong price on their delivery summary and have that delivery price increase in the next step. how can I hide this wrong price before the customer enters their real address?

Hi, we are a body sugaring studio offering many services on our scheduling page. i.e. If a customer wants to book an upper lip (treatment #1) with a brazilian (treatment #2) how do they do this in acuity scheduling? ...the "add a time" pop-up only let's you book the same treatment twice, not a different one.   19. Hi, I have some products that require a shipping quote rather than an "add to cart". Once I give a shipping quote to a customer, how then do I put it back through the store so the customer can use the online interface? I would rather keep everything in the same system rather than do a manual order via another service, which doesn't look very professional either. Off the top of my head, all I can think of is to make a new shipping option specific to that customer's quote, but sadly that would be visible to others, and other shipping options would also be visible to the customer in question. My client offers pick-up and local delivery, to limited zip codes. And certain product shops are not eligible for shipping (it's a restaurant with holiday meal kits and weekly meal services). I'd like to include those cities in this default text area before someone goes to the trouble of entering their address. It's written throughout the site and in the custom form in checkout, but people don't read and the custom form appears after the shipping info is selected. Any input is so appreciated! Stephanie

Is there a way I can create an express checkout button for a product that I can put anywhere I want? Exactly like the button on a product page, but well... NOT on a product page. e.g. I want to have a 'book 30 mins' button on my homepage that takes them straight to the checkout for a 30-min consult product. They complete the checkout, I get paid and then it takes them into my calendar booking system. Note: i don't use the acuity scheduling module of Squarespace. Please and thank you! Edward
  23. Hi, I am looking to add a button or option to the checkout, where customers can add a gift bag for an extra cost to their cart. I've been experimenting and decided that using the variant option is not ideal as it causes an error message, which could put off customers from buying. Instead I would like to let customers choose at checkout whether they would like the product to be sent to them with a gift bag. Any ideas (including coding as it seems there is not squarespace solution for this at the moment) would be greatly appreciated.
  24. Hey guys I've been meaning make some changes to my website but don't know how. I heard of coding but am no where near experience enough to do it alone. I would appreciate the help with the following tasks. - Change the background color of the checkout button to white/ Solved - Change the text within the checkout button to black/ Solved - Add a "Add to Cart" button under the products on the home page - Change the color of the "sale" text on quick view to orange hsl(31, 99%, 61%) I know nothing about this not even the basics and would appreciate some help.   25. I'm using custom CSS to hide my header and footer in order to use Squarespace for landing pages. The biggest part of a landing page is to make it as seamless as possible to get someone to buy whatever you're selling on that page. Everything went to plan except when there's no way to access the cart without the header. Does anyone know how to enable 'express checkout' only on a single product?
