  1. I've had multiple customers unable to checkout on my website as a error pops up- "Couldn't load page" with a "Try again" button. It doesn't load the checkout page when you press "Try again". It seems to work properly on my phone and my laptop, however my family has tested it and they also receive the error message. I have attached a photo that a customer has sent me below. I'm unsure of how to fix this, does anyone have any advice?

  3. We've had an influx of customers not choosing shipping when ordering. Is there a way to default to shipping instead of customer pickup in the checkout feature. It does show up, but people aren't choosing it when ordering and I have to send a separate invoice from Square for the shipping fee. HELP!!
  4. Hello Whenever I do online orders which I don’t do all of the time, I have a pick up option and delivery option. For the delivery option I like to have a minimum like $40 so I’m not driving around making deliveries for small orders. But for pick up, I don’t want a minimum since they’re picking up so I don’t care if it’s $10. I don’t see a way to do this, if I set an order minimum it applies it to everything. If I can’t figure this out I’ll have to switch platforms since it’s messing me up each time I offer online ordering
  5. I sell services to schools in the UK and its extremely rare that a school will pay for a service with a credit card or PayPal. I like the products page and Squarespace but the inability to automate bookings is holding my business back. Most UK schools request an invoice before making a BACS payment. How can I take orders/bookings for my services without charging or by bypassing checkout? I have seen the work around for charging services for free but this will cause confusion and I certainly don't want schools receiving invoices suggesting they don't have to pay. Any solutions? Anything being worked on? I'd love to be able to process payments like a shop but that's just not the way the education sector does things and that won't be changing anytime soon. Any help regarding this is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Antony
  6. I'd like to add a payment form directly to a landing page. Currently, the checkout process in SS is really clunky (3-4 clicks) and I'm losing customers. Is there any way to add a Stripe payment form (or other form) directly to a landing page on SS? Thanks in advance!
  7. I find squarespace to be so frustrating. It seems to lack the most basic things for commerce. I am trying to set up my product, fresh flowers, on commerce and I chose physical product, because that is what it is, and I selected "pickup" option because my flowers are only for pickup not shipping. Yet the checkout form asks the customer for shipping details. Why am I unable to remove the shipping form when pickup option is selected? Many others have complained about this lack of feature and Squarespace has done nothing to resolve it.
  8. Hi! I have a password protected store, since it's for members only, and I connected Square to use as my checkout payment processor. When I try to add a CC during checkout I'm unable to enter any into in the CC fields. The display bar at the top of the screen says "checkout is closed" Does anyone have any suggestions? It says Square is connected, and I connected my bank account on the Square site as well and verified my ID. Only thing I can think of it that sometimes these things take a few days to finish verifying, but since is all says "connected" or "active" I dont think that's the case. Am I overlooking a section to active commerce or something?

  10. I currently have a custom checkout form on my website. When someone adds a certain product to the cart, the squarespace form pops up, customer enters data and then they can proceed to the checkout. I would like to replace the squarespace custom checkout form with an external one (e.g. Google Forms) as they are HIPAA compliant and squarespace forms aren't. I can't see a place to embed the code anywhere? Thanks for advice

    Is dynamic pricing possible?

    Site URL: https://example.com Is it possible to offer dynamic pricing? Example: We offer landscaping services and we want to charge people different prices based on the size of their property. Right now it seems that the only option squarespace offers would be to provide packages such as: 1000-2000 sqft = $500 2000-3000 sqft = $1000 But this is not ideal for us. We want to do dynamic pricing, where the user can enter a number of square feet, say 3,426 and we can calculate the price such as 3,426 * $1.15 per square foot = $3,939.90. It doesn't seem like this is a possibility even through their API. We tried using the quantity field, doing something like: Product price = $1.15 per square foot and the quantity = 3,426 and then we can use JavaScript injection to change the field labels from saying quantity to saying square feet, but this doesn't work because Squarespace only allows people to add up to a maximum quantity of 500. It seems like our only real solution may be to embed our own custom checkout form in an iFrame using something like Stripe. I wanted to double check if with the forums in case I am missing something before I go ahead and implement our own checkout process.
  13. Hello! For one of my service that I offer on my website, I would like my customers to be limited to only 1 quantity per order. Basically, I don't want them to be able to press "add service" twice to the cart. How can I do that? Furthermore, once the customer is on the checkout page, the quantity field is editable. How can I make it uneditable so that the quantity is fixed to 1 ? Thanks ahead for your time in answering this. Best, Charles

Hi, I've recently added a Facebook Messenger icon to my website, however when someone adds an item to checkout the Messenger icon blocks the Checkout button so customers can't complete an order! Please can you advise if there's a way to move either the Messenger logo or the Checkout button? Thanks, Lewis

  16. Is there a way to remove the ‘add to checkout’ button and change it to an instant file download? I want free digital downloads within a members area but I cannot work out how to change it so the user doesn’t need to go through the checkout process.

  20. I am attempting to add a fee to the total order amount if the date of delivery is within 24 hours from the date of the order being placed. Currently, my checkout form contains a custom field to input the delivery date to compare against. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
  21. I need to put a $90.00 cap on a discount code. For example, if someone purchases a product for $24.00, it is free, but if they purchases something for $110.00, they would owe $20.00. I should also note this needs to be PER ORDER not per product. Is there a way to accomplish this?
  22. Hi there, I need help with changing the hover color for buttons located on my quick view lightbox, shopping cart, and add to cart form pages. The button color changes but the text color stays the same, preventing me from seeing the text within the button.
  23. I am trying to create an e-shop for a lithuanian audience and squarespace doesn't support this language as a language of your site. At the moment I can't find any ways to solve a problem that I ran into - I want to get better/full customization over my checkout page but all information I managed to gather is that there is no way to paste your own code in order to customize the checkout page(and make it lithuanian) and the customization options that squarespace provide us with are extremely limited. Also is there an easy way to change the words like "Quantity" over at the product page or "Login" in the header. If you have any solutions to my problem I would appreciate it.
  24. My client offers local delivery and pick up only. By default customers must enter their "Shipping" address, then they select the delivery radio button. It would be best to have the option to change the labels on the Checkout Form. Customizing the Checkout form seems like a must have feature for these instances to make it less confusing for customers.
