The advantage of doing the Squarespace way is that you don't have to cancel subscriptions or fiddle about, your subscription is handled as part of the upgrade process.

    As far as Squarespace is concerned anything that can be added to the Pages panel is a page and all pages have a URL Slug that once used can not be used by another page.

    I can confirm what you are seeing but only on a real mobile device. A browser mobile emulation doesn't show it. I do not not know if there is a solution.

    Please give us a bit more detail. It would help us to give a better answer I think. What version of Squarespace are you using? Which template are you using?

    Squarespace does not use a staging/production server model. The closest you could get with Squarespace would be to duplicate the site and work on the duplicate, then manually transfer the changes back to the original. If you can't dupe the site then you could create a trial site and work on the new header there.

    SS doesn't support image uploads when products are imported after the first time. SS's CSV import/export are far from as useful as they could be. SS hasn't touched this functionality for years.

    Have you tried my Store Page List Category Section Reveal? This is how sections work for Store pages, hence my code above which manipulates these shared sections so that only one shows for each category. Let us know how it goes.

    I suspect the Gotham fonts are corrupt. When I try to view the font GothamBook on several font viewers the lines are all munged together. In other words they don't display normally. I suggest trying to download them from where you got them, then re-upload them to your site.

    For folks that may not readily see the solution. Set the Stock to zero for A4/None and 60 x 90 in/Metal in the case of this particular scenario. SS is a bit funky in the way it handles variants. There is some fallout from this set up. The from price always shows zero. To overcome this you can set the price for the non-existent variants to the lowest of all the prices. You just have to remember to never set the Stock to non-zero values. You also get Sold Out messages if you select one of the non-existent variants. It may be possible to overcome these "features" of how SS does things with some custom code. You'd have to search the forum or ask a question for a particular need.

    There is no / page in Pages. SS is most likely using a feature similar an HTTP server's rewrite rule which allows / to serve up the content from /home without the URL changing.

    Squarespace does not allow you to create a page without something in the URL SLUG field. Even though the UI allows you to remove the text of the field and "SAVE", SS silently inserts a value of it's own so the field is not left empty. All SS sites have two home pages. One at / and one at the URL SLUG assigned to the page. In many cases /home SS's URL Mappings feature does not work with URLs that exist on the site. I assume the logic SS uses is: if the URL SLUG exists as a page on the site, present the page if the URL SLUG does not exist as a page on the site, check for a URL Mapping and redirect I don't have any solutions but just some observations about how things work.

    Without knowing who your domain registrar is, it is almost impossible to say. In general though if your registrar allows you to manipulate DNS records there is usually a setting to adjust TTL. How low you can go on the number is often constrained by the registrar. When updating records and verifying they have been added correctly my target TTL is 300 seconds (5 minutes). This number is an old school number from the early days of DNS. Once things have been verified, then you up the number to 86400 seconds (24 hours). DNS is poll and cache system and depends on folks not pushing it by using really low numbers over long periods of time.
