  1. This seems a basic bit of info to know, but I cannot find an actual stated answer anywhere. In a summary block where I want to show the latest 5 posts, there is no option for that – I assume that's the default. However, it's not stated explicitly (and honestly, why should anyone have to guess at such stuff?) Also, I'd like to display the latest in a separate block above the summary block, so what I really want in the summary block is "the 5 posts previous to the current post" (which is the kind of built-in option that seems reasonable to have; I can't be the only one who wants to use that kind of style option). tia
  2. Hello, I'm going to be opening an after school and summer camp and I'm creating a website to process payments and receive camper information. Squarespace is great for creating classes as products, but the data management gets tricky. For example, if a parent signs their kid up for a class, we would need information about emergency contact, allergies etc. This works fine with the checkout forms if a parent is enrolling one child for one class, but if they are enrolling multiple children for multiple classes there doesn't seem to be a way to separate out that information. I have found online that there are different external softwares built for camp programs. Does anyone have any experience with these, and integrating them into Squarespace? Thanks for your help!
  3. Hi, How can I add small spacing after the collection on the products page? Screen attached: Regards
  4. Exists a way to create a page and add some collections? Like the home page where in the footer there are some blog posts and the latest press releases. It's not clear how to aggregate in the same page many collections.
  5. Though I'm primarily a novelist, I also write short stories and was thinking that a good way to encourage potential readers to visit my site would be to occasionally post short stories to my site. I'd want them to be in a separate area. Is a blog a good way to accomplish this? Some sort of gallery page? An index? The various options seem manifold, and I'd like to avoid running down a rathole to a sub-optimal solution. Very new at Squarespace, so please excuse my lack of knowledge. Thanks for your suggestions & help. Regards,Michael
  6. hi there, this isn't anything that going to change my website but am hoping to just better understand the code / templating. can someone help explain to me what .passthrough and .main-image are targeting? i couldn't find it in the docs anywhere. i understand it's checking something but i'm just confused what exactly it's checking. main-image is obvious, but I don't see main-image on the json, but i do see passthrough. sorry if the question is super vague! thanks!michellea newbie in squarespace
  7. The Template docs (https://developers.squarespace.com/collections) specify the 4 basic options for custom collections. However, I know from example base templates that there are additional options -- at least 9 that I know of. Is there any more complete documentation anywhere of all available options, and the accepted values for each option (e.g. "icon" only has certain values that work)? Or, does someone have that information that could be posted here as a reference?
  8. I am working on a site for people to prioritize healthcare fixes. One key element is asking people to give us real life stories about their biggest frustrations, so it can be communicated to the healthcare industry in a prioritized way. There is a great site about prior authorizations that is EXACTLY what i would like to do. (see it here at this location https://fixpriorauth.org/) Any thoughts on how something like this can be accomplished using Squarespace? It has to be moderated posts, because we will need to take out identifying information.
  9. hi, we want to hide the collection title in forte on out site www,powellpicano.co.uk. One previous answer worked using css but also hid the text from our contact page, so was a no go. Anyone know if there is another solution? We want to keep our front page as clean as possible. Many thanks, John.
