  1. Site URL: https://seafeast.squarespace.com/ How do you change the browser title for your site? I've updated the Site Name and the individual Page Titles. I'm not sure where it's pulling this from.
  2. Site URL: https://www.wholestorystudio.com Hello There! For my client's website I created custom shapes for it before Squarespace made that ability possible lol Anyhow, I used CSS to create the shape and border around it. However, for some reason on the home page on Safari it doesn't keep its shape or the border but in Chrome browser it does. See images below: Safari Browser view Chrome Browser view Here is the code I used: /*About Julie Image on home page*/ #block-e2e3870b5d870d4525cd .sqs-image-shape-container-element { border-radius: 400px 0px 0 0; border: 2px solid #000000; width: 98% !important; height: auto !important; overflow: hidden !important; } I've tried the following code (this has worked for all the other pictures like this shape throughout the website not this one on the home page) #block-e2e3870b5d870d4525cd img { border-radius: 500px 0px 0 0; border: solid; border-width: medium; width: 99% !important; height: auto !important; top: 0 !important; left: 0 !important; } Any insight would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks y'all!
  3. Site URL: https://mathiasneumann.com/home Hello you all! I just published a website, but whatever page I set as homepage can't be found in the browser. 'mathiasneumann.com/home' can be found if i type in 'mathiasneumann.com' without the slug, how one would normally do, it won't find the page. it shows the website basically (footer and navigation + error message) , but not the content of the page set as homepage. when i click on the other pages in the navigation, they show. Also if I click back on 'work' - which is the page set as homepage - it SOMETIMES catches the slug and shows up, sometimes not. Anyone any idea what i can do about this?? Thanks so much in advance! 🙏
  4. Please see Row Column Finder. From the read me. It is quite easy to get into a situation where blocks are not behaving the way you think they should. Some of those issues are a how you think they should work versus how they actually work. But one issue that is really hard to tell is nested blocks which are virtually undetectable visually. The following image shows two similar looking page sections. The target layout is a row with three evenly spaced columns of text. Although they appear to be similar visually. They are not structurally. With the Row Column Finder bookmarklet you begin to have a chance at detecting layout issues that may be making your blocks behave in unexpected ways or are difficult to work with using CSS or JavaScript. In the first page section we see the target layout as desired. The second page section does not meet our target layout. We have a row with two columns. The first row first column contains a row with two columns. Undesirable nesting! What is a bookmarket? Wikipedia has a nice entry on bookmarklet.
  5. Site URL: http://kelliepaxian.com Hi everyone! I'm having a major problem that neither Squarespace, Apple, nor Instagram's support teams have been able to help me with, and it is losing me business by the day! My website kelliepaxian.com shows up with distorted formatting (eg. the banner image is extremely zoomed in) when opened via the Instagram app (but only for iPhone users it seems). I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like on a browser (ie. what it's supposed to look like) and what it looks like when opened through Instagram. This problem only arose within the last month or so. Squarespace says they are unable to help me because Instagram is not one of their supported browsers, but this is my primary marketing platform and where almost all my website traffic comes from. Things I have tried: Accessing from different phones Clearing my cache Using a different photo Cropping the photo differently Updating the app Any other suggestions would be SO appreciated! Thank you!
  6. Site URL: https://www.sabinelemke.de Hi there, strange issue here: text is cut off on different devices or browsers. Maybe someone knows whats happening and how to handle this. In the pictures below you can see on the right, how the text looks on my side (tested on MacBook Pro with Safari and Chrome and on my IPhone) and on the left side is what my client is seeing on her devices... You see the text is cut off on the top. I tried to adjust the line height of the headlines, but what happens is, the cut just moves somewhere else. Like higher or appears on the first line of the headline --> "Sichtbar und" is beeing cut off instead of "einzigartig" So to me it seems to be the right thing to adjust, but how can I make sure the headlines look good on all devices and browsers? Anyone an idea how to solve this? I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post it to...sorry Thank you.
  7. Site URL: http://rayborchers.com Hi everyone, I have a client website running on Squarespace. I am not too familiar with the platform, so I am turning to the forum for help. The domain is rayborchers.com. This page is loading a frame of rayborchers.squarespace.com. All the menu navigation links are pointing to URLs on the Squarespace subdomain, however the URL displayed in the browser address does not change. I'm looking to break the site out of the iframe and have the site live on the custom domain. If this is a setting somewhere in Squarespace, I am unable to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -chris.
  8. Site URL: https://www.sheepdogmn.com/ Hi there, I'm having some issues with how text is displaying on Safari: 1. Some lines of text are appearing cut off vertically 2. The "submit" text inside the form button disappears on Safari

  10. Site URL: https://bagadu.com Hi there, When I type my company name ("bagadu") in Google and other search engines, my working site address appears ("https://synthesizer-broccoli-5mar.squarespace.com/config/"). When I manually type "bagadu.com" in the search engine, the site name appears properly. How can I prevent the working site address from appearing?
  11. Site URL: https://www.nettlebedclassicalstudio.co.uk Hi, my website isn't coming up when I just type the business name on google or google chrome I thought I had followed all of the correct procedures, on google analitics, but keep going round in circles and not getting any where. I have checked the SEO , apart from the home page, where I entered the set under marketing, however, when I go to the home page to edit and check it doesn't show up anything, which is really frustrating. I have tried on many attempts to figure it out, but now need to ask for help! The only way I can get it up in to put the whole address in https://www.nettlebedclassicalstudio.co.uk How do I contact squarespace to get help, as I need my website accessible and online before 28th February as I have an editorial in a local magazine to publicise my new business. Any advice would be gratefully received.
  12. I'm currently using the Matsuya template to make a photography portfolio. I'd like to change the "People" section in the header to say "Buildings" but when I click edit header it doesn't give me the option to change the subheadings? This is super frustrating as I spent quite a bit of time on the "Overview" page and I'd like to split my photographs into different sections. Though it isn't letting me edit "People", and I can't continue without changing it because then the subheading would be false. It does let me change the main heading, my name, on the left, but it doesn't let me change any other heading from the page header. Is there a solution?
  13. As much as I'm loving the evolution of SS (we have about 100 sites on the platform currently and have been working with it for about 5 years), I'm disappointed to have to switch back to Chrome due to the SS experience now being unbearable on Safari. This won't be an issue for you Windows users, but the huge backlash against Chrome (mostly over privacy) has caused us to [attempt to] switch to Safari since it's native (unlike Firefox), fast, and simple. However, as of this month, we're finding SS to be almost unusable in Safari... When clicking to edit any block on an SS site, Safari jumps back to the top of the page. When you scroll back down to click on the block again, it puts it into Edit mode, but it once again jumps back to the top of the page. When you scroll back down to that block again, you can then edit. So, it takes 3 clicks and 3 scrolls to edit any block on any page on any site. And with many of our pages being long, scrolling pages, this takes about 5 times longer to edit a site on Safari than on Chrome. I know that Safari only has about 16% global market share but that number includes all Windows and ChromeOS users. Amongst Mac users in North America, the percentage is much higher. I would estimate that about 25% of SS users are on Safari, so why isn't the compatibility a bigger issue? SS is literally the only reason we are forced to keep using Chrome at our agency.
  14. Site URL: http://no-frames.com Hi community, Wild. I don't understand what's going on. My client's website displays different homepages, depending on if it's Safari or Chrome. The different old site occurs in Safari when "www" is not included in the url. Even upon refresh and clearing out cache. The current site displays in Safari only with "www". I looked through my client's not linked pages, but I don't see this old page anywhere...
  15. Site URL: https://www.ecotonejewelers.com/ So everything loads fine on my website when I go to look at it. However it was pointed out to me that when someone tries to access it through a link on Facebook the pictures on the Home page will load just fine but when you go to the product section to shop none of the thumb nails show up at all. If I access the same page directly through my browser it will load everything fine. I have also noticed this issue with NONE of my photos showing up on older browsers. What can I do to fix this, this is a huge issue for me. Please see attached screenshots. (First shows the view from the home page, second is what my product section looks like, and 3rd is what it looks like when going directly through the browser).
  16. Site URL: https://wrklfe.com/?category=APPAREL Hello, I have read through the online materials and I can't seem to figure out how to change the SEO display for my categories. For example right now if I click the "APPAREL" link on my Store page, the URL displayed in my browser is: https://wrklfe.com/?category=APPAREL - I would like it to display wrklfe.com/SHOP/APPAREL, which is easier to use from a marketing standpoint. Is there a way to do this?
  17. Site URL: http://www.storiesthroughtori.com Hi there. I have a markdown block on my FAQ page that works like magic (you arrive on the page and are able to click the options to open them). However, when arriving to my Session Investment and Pricing Guide page, the markdown block remains open (it will not collapse and you do not get a chance to manually open it). I've searched Youtube and reached out to SS with no luck yet. Help! What is going on here? Here is the specific page link: https://www.storiesthroughtori.com/session-investment-and-pricing-guide
  18. Site URL: https://www.quadternityproductions.com/ I have a serious issue regarding the formatting of my website and I feel as if Custom CSS is my solution here. Depending on the monitor size and browser size of a screen, my website can get seriously jacked up. On my computer, the navigation bar is one line as intended, but friends appear differently. Even worse is on my rates page for my services, depending on the browser and screen size , the text gets all messed up bleeding into multiple lines. I have provided images as examples for what I have explained, and would really appreciate some help. This messes up the website for multiple people, and it was viewers of my website who brought it to my attention. Thanks! Images: Image 1 is what I want the navigation bar to look like, but image 2 & 3 is what many see. Image 4 is what my rates page should look like, but image 5 is what many see!
  19. Hi there, anyone knows if it's possible to use Autoprefixer in Squarespace 7.1 (possibly without an external editor)? It would be really useful since it will automatically adjust the code in order that it functions well on all browsers. Autoprefixer link: https://github.com/postcss/autoprefixer If not, is there another way to have the same result without manually going through all the code? Thanks!
  20. Site URL: http://www.helios-vr.com On the left is how it should and used to look and on the right is how it loads for some users. At first I thought it was chrome but I have a friend using chrome and he said its fine for him.
  21. Site URL: https://elephant-crane-cc3x.squarespace.com/ Hi, The font of my website is not shown in Microsoft Edge. Is there some custom CSS to solve this problem? Thanks ! It's like this: And this is how it should be (the font is Aileron)
  22. Site URL: https://www.eduardodarosa.com/ I would like to have someone analyze my website and let me know how I could optimize it. I also would like to add some hashtags but I am not sure how to do that. Please let me know any additional recommendations. Thank you!
  23. Site URL: https://www.reapreapparel.com/ Something, probably in my code, is causing this site to show up poorly on safari and firefox. It shows up properly on Chrome. Any suggestions would be so helpful! Thank you!
  24. Site URL: http://www.kerganedwards-stout.com Not sure if this is a coding issue, but when my site is viewed in a browser, instead of the browser tab just saying the site name, on certain pages, it says "General 1", "General 4," etc. Other pages appear normal. Also, when I post a URL onto Facebook, for example, the "General 1" etc shows up in the link as well. Any idea how to remove these??? Thanks in advance!
  25. Site URL: https://pelican-snail-erg5.squarespace.com/ I'm trying to make a similar side navigation/ status bar shown in the video. Would there be a way to do this in Javascript or CSS, or is there a plugin for it? Thanks, Zack side statusbar.mp4
