  1. You should be able to rearrange the order by dragging and dropping them in the projects config panel. Not on the page itself.
  2. I should have taken a closer look at your screenshot. You should be able to delete it like any other section. Edit the page, scroll down to the section, and if you mouse over it, a panel should come up with the red remove icon.
  3. There are in site styles. I use code to hide the date but you may not need to do that.
  4. Is this folder showing up on your site Nav bar or somewhere else? Or it is only in config/pages?
  5. You have a redirect that is not working. It goes to arizonadisabledsports.com/dcgames. dcgames is a page slug/name that isn't there. When I backspace the dcgames and delete it desertchallengegames.com goes to the arizonadisabledsports.com page. I don't know if this is the page you want it to go to or another one. I suspect it is the page and its full name is https://www.arizonadisabledsports.com/desertchallengegames and if that is the case change the page url slug from desertchallengegames to dcgames which will be easier than changing the redirect and it should start to work. You may have to change your hamburger drop down menu link to that page as well.
  6. You have to record it using a media program like in Windows and save it as an mp3. Edit your blog and add an audio block and then upload the file or link it to a file. Here is an example of an embedded audio file in a 7.0 site that works the same for 7.1 https://christinegregoryphotography.com/blog/tiffanys Here is one more: https://myrandomviews.com/blog/dianesbirthday And the guide to posting an audio file on your site. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206543197-Audio-Blocks
  7. Nested folders are not possible (even for developers) but you might be able to use an according folder using text links to pages on your site or off-site if you wish. You can change any Nav folder to a nav link that can take you to any page containing a folder that could serve as a landing page for that nav item
  8. You cannot delete a comments block but you can turn it off so to speak. It's done in settings/blogging/comments. Just uncheck allow comments globally and anonymously.
  9. I don't think you can easily embed this like a Vimeo or youtube video. I would put up an image block with a still image shot of the video, and link the image to the actual video which plays full screen.
  10. There is a bit of a bug in the block that sometimes shows up, content is not visible in edit mode. It has happened to me as well, seems not to affect the block as seen by a visitor, however. I changed my block to a dropdown containing subjects instead of an index, and have not had the issue in a long time.
  11. When I moved my very first blog page to Squarespace many years ago, I had about 30 posts. I did it the old-fashioned way, cut and paste. I figured it would not take any more time than fixing all the spaces, unwanted characters, and other things an import can sometimes create. It was a two-part procedure, I pasted my original posts one at a time to Wordpad and copied them from there to Squarespace.
  12. This may help you: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/115010155688
  13. Not directly, unfortunately. You can export blog content to a wordpress site, and from there to a Squarespace site, following these steps: https://www.sassydigital.co.uk/blog/how-to-move-a-blog-between-squarespace-blogs
  14. In config settings click domains and choose use a domain I own, type it in, and follow directions from there.
  15. You can adjust the padding using site styles in the configuration.
  16. Sure, you can add an audio block, the same way as any other content block, and upload an mp3 file.
  17. Things like this seem to go away on their own. No solution was ever posted. As you can see it's been over 2 years since anyone posted about this trouble. Are you having it now?
  18. It very much depends on the template you are using if it is 7.0 If in 7.1 there is no template change option due to the fact 7.1 is just one template with a bunch of named designs, which means you can delete any page and start over and make it look like any other 7.1 design. Now changing from 7.1 to 7.0 is possible but requires a new trial and activation setup. With both, you can create a whole new site in the unlinked section of your site including portfolio pages while leaving the original part of your site active and then swapping out the pages.
  19. Go to the Vimeo video click the "Show options" link, and check the corresponding boxes next to "Loop this video," "Autoplay this video," or both either on or off.
  20. Depends on the site template. If you post your URL domain we can take a look and give you some advice.
  21. It seems to me that in order for code to mess up one person's configuration and not the other then those two folks are not using the same browser to view with. Could that be the case? However, you did log on using her account with no better results correct? The first thing to do is post the website domain and provide a site availability password. This will allow our coders to view it and inspect the code but not make any changes. We have folks here who can see just about any problem and provide a solution.
  22. Okay, this is a blog issue, not a page issue. 7.1 blog post pages do not have Fluid Engine so they work a bit like 7.0. I will start from scratch. You edit a post and maybe a section. To add a block you hover over a text block (and one may pop up on its own) or any other block until it gets a blue frame and + signs on the top and bottom. You click one of those + depending on where you want the block, in your case a video block. Add your video, like you would any other page on your site. Now comes the fun part. You have to use spacer blocks on each side of the video block to size it. You add them one at a time. You add one then drag it over to one side until a vertical blue line appears but you don't want that line to go up any further than the block or it will shift your whole page to the right if you moved the spacer to the left side of your video block. Once you have one positioned correctly add another one, position it, and then resize the blocks to push the video block to the size you want it to be, it will keep the same aspect ratio. Don't forget to hit done and save (yes I have forgotten).
  23. You may need to post this on a WordPress forum. No images or videos should have a pointer to SS unless they used to be on a SS site. If that was the case you could get google to re index/crawl your WP site and see if that helps.
  24. Both sites are 7.1. The easiest way to make a splash/landing page like the photography site has is this: 1 Create a blank page. 2 Add a blank section to the page. 3 Edit the section and choose the background tab and choose the image tab. 4 Upload an image or choose from your library. 5. Set the image for full bleed. 6 Edit header choose desktop view go to layout choose logo over nav bar, the last option. 7 edit the section again and click add a block, choose the button block, and drag to the bottom of the image. Edit for page and choose the page link. Hit done and save. 8. When done make the new page your home page. I built one on my 7.1 lab site which you can see here: https://rust-maroon-ajph.squarespace.com/ password is landing
