  1. Is /home marked as your home page? Does it have the house icon next to it in config/pages list?
  2. A name is requested, but no email is required if comments are left as a guest.
  3. What you want, images, videos, and next/previous pages are standard features with Squarespace blog pages. If you desire a newsfeed to be separate from other types of blog posts, use a page of summary blocks or a second blog page (the summary blocks are more versatile than the normal blog post listing page). I have a very large blog, I don't have a newsfeed but could create one easily. derrick's random views
  4. Maybe it can be done, check out this thread from some time ago and tauphan is the one to write the code.
  5. Your domain is not connected to any website, the DNS records appear to be all there, but you may need to use the delete function for the default DNS and then use the domain I own option again.
  6. What is your domain? Where is your website hosted?
  7. Guide to connect Godaddy domain to Squarespace website.
  8. What type of registration? Domain? Where is it hosted? Where is your website hosted if it is part of the issue?
  9. Your domain flourishingcapital.io is registered with Key-Systems.net, a domain that was sold to Google, and then to you and somehow slipped between the cracks during this merger with Squarespace. There is nothing hands-on we here on the forum can do to get this resolved. It is up to Squarespace customer service, but we have discovered that Key-Systems customer support may help to get that repair moving. https://www.key-systems.net/en/contact/complaint-and-abuse-report-procedure/
  10. What is your domain? Where is it hosted? Where is your website hosted? I ask because Squarespce now has such a huge mix of domains and websites they host and are hosted by others, that it is hard to know how to help without specific information. Derrick
  11. I hate to tell you this, but it looks like shrimpwelfareproject.org has gone offline again, www.shrimpwelfareproject.org never came back up. Sometimes the defaults have to be reset more than once, and this may be one of those times. Once again, access the DNS records delete the defaults, click the red trash can go back to the site config, hit the gear icon at the bottom choose domains/email then domains, then "use a domain that I own", and then type it back in and follow the prompts from there.
  12. There is a pattern with the DNS settings but it is not always consistent. For example, I have two domains pointing to my website, one has one A record A derricksrandomviews.com 14400 198.185.159.145 Check IP Blacklist The second one has four addresses including two with .23. That indicates that .23 is not always a parking page. flourishcoalition.org is up and running both with the www and without. shrimpwelfareproject.org is up but www.shrimpwelfareproject.org the holding page is still there. It should "go away" also.
  13. That's it, deleting the DNS records will disconnect the domain from Google CMS. The default records should connect to your Squarespace site. When that happens the Squarespace site should come up right away. From a marketing standpoint, I suggest purchasing an additional domain from Squarespace to point to your Squarespace site, perfectlookcosmetic.com is available for twenty dollars a year, fourteen for the first year. Very easy to remember. Both domains will work simultaneously, and perfectlookcosmetic.com would be the best prime domain for your site.
  14. If your site is built on 7.1 there is no switch template option. To build a new site, you can start a two-week trial under the same account you have now. Once the site is done (hopefully within the two weeks) purchase a new domain, activate your new site, and turn off the renewal for your original site and domain. You may have some overlapping costs depending on how you pay for your original site. If your site is on 7.0 there is a template switch option to any other 7.0 site and a move to 7.1 option if using the Brine template family in 7.0 I will tell you that any switch option does not move everything and still requires many tweaks to make it ready to go live. I would start with a clean slate if I wanted a new site, which I don't. I have used the same Avenue 7.0 template since 2015 but it does not look much like it did when new. I have used a lot of code to personalize it for me, to give it a unique look.
  15. Some of your DNS records point to Squarespace but the WWW records still point to the Google site as you can see here when you hit lookup DNS: https://dnschecker.org/all-dns-records-of-domain.php?query=www.perfectlook-kosmetik-nagel.com%2F&rtype=ALL&dns=google If you access your DNS records in site configuration you should see the CNAME pointing to Google.
  16. Your domain points to a Google website. Is that domain in the same account as your new Squarespace website? Now that the domain has been moved to Squarespace, the domain needs to be treated like moving between Squarespace sites, including permissions. Read this guide to make sure the billing eligibility is met then disconnect the domain from the Google site and Connect it to the new one using the "domain that I own" option.
  17. Let me get your info straight. Is your website on Google Cloud Services? The domain is or should be with Squarespace? What is your domain? I can check on it for you.
  18. Since your domain is tied to your website, try updating payment info from here: Payment Information Panel
  19. I see your site is up. The DNS are Squarespace's Google Servers and your site is on Google Cloud. I hope this is correct. https://dhfarmequipment.com/
  20. Tg The DNS records look correct, as does your SSL but it seems, as it has with others that the connection did not quite work. Go to your DNS panel here: https://domains.squarespace.com/ manage the domain, select it, go to the DNS panel on the left side of the screen, then delete the defaults exit, and go to your website configuration, down at the bottom click the settings gear icon, then choose domains/email. On the right side of the page choose "Use a domain I own" Then you will be asked for the domain name, and follow the prompts from there.
  21. It should come back up if that was the fix in a few minutes.
  22. Do you still need help? Post the necessary info and we can try. What is the domain, where it is hosted, and where the website is hosted?
  23. Several users have had the same problem and this is the quickest fix. Go into your domain DNS panel and delete the Squarespace defaults. You might want to copy all your MX and TXT records first and paste them to Wordpad just in case. Then go to the website configuration menu, and down at the bottom click the gear/settings icon. Choose domains and email back at the top, then domains, on the right side of the page is use a domain that I own. Choose that and follow the prompts.
