  1. Site URL: https://translegal-llc.squarespace.com/ Hi, Am having no luck writing CSS to target a section in 7.1 to reduce the space above and below this image in a gallery section (screenshot). Would love some help! Thanks, Barbara
  2. Site URL: https://ray-primrose-34c4.squarespace.com/ Hi All, Working on some customizations for a client's site and I've adjusted page padding using this: #page>{ max-width: 1020px !important; // 1020px is the default size padding: 150px 32px !important; // First number is top & bottom, second is left & right Defaults are 96px and 32px } Unfortunately this also affects the homepage (the only page with a banner image) and adds too much negative space below the image and the first text on the page. Is there a code snippet to add to prevent the homepage from being affected? Or is the best way around this to only apply the page code to every single other page via a #collection tag? Very novice at Custom CSS, sorry. Thank you! password: testview2022
  3. Site URL: https://www.carriagegrandtour.com/ Hi everyone, I was hoping for some help resolving an issue with excessive padding/margins space above the start of the design grid in my mobile sections. I have tried: Moving the section height slider all the way down Choosing vertical alignment top, middle and bottom - strangely, align to bottom actually reduces the top of section padding the most, but not nearly enough Using the following code: And also this one: But alas, the top margin remains. You can see that the issue does not exist with the lower margin - the grid goes all the way to the end of the section. Any help would be greatly appreciated. URL: carriagegrandtour.com Cheers Ruth
  4. Site URL: https://www.immortalradio.ca/trusc I'm editing my website in the full screen edit panel, and the padding looks good and as expected around the titles. However, in the same resolution and aspect ratio after saving the website, the padding is totally different. Does anyone know why this may be the case and how to stop it?

  9. Site URL: http://www.simpledwelling.net Hi everyone, I'm looking to spruce up my website, and wanting to add some padding to the left of my Blog collection page, similar to what https://softervolumes.com/ has done to their 'Latest' section. I don't want to the padding to be site wide, nor apply to actual blog posts, just the desktop version of the Blog collection page. Can anyone help with some code?
  10. Site URL: http://leard.co.uk/ I have a 7.0 squarespace site but I'm currently putting together a new 7.1 site using the Gates template. The default is to have 3 columns, but I want 4, but when I change it to 4, there's a thin line running down the centre (image attached), even though the spacing is set to 0. Anyone know why it's doing that?

  12. Site URL: https://okra-sapphire-f9t6.squarespace.com/viden Hey everybody! I have a site https://okra-sapphire-f9t6.squarespace.com, where I try to align everything. Under the blogs, I have a problem with extra padding being added to the left and right side: https://okra-sapphire-f9t6.squarespace.com/viden I want to remove the padding, without removing the padding when viewed on the phone. 13. Site URL: http://www.mollyrees.com Hi! I've had this problem for a few years and would finally like to fix it. There's a large white space on the right-hand side of my screen when I open my website on a wide screen. I'd like the webpage to be centered, with equal padding on each side. I added a custom border a long time ago, and I'm sure I added some custom CSS that messed it up. I'm looking for some way to fix it without deleting all the code (which I still need for other parts of the website.) I've attached a screenshot so you can see what I mean. Thanks to anyone who can help!
  14. Site URL: http://www.alexandrawuzyk.com/ Dear wizards of code, would someone be able to help me with the code to add for the following changes? - adding a custom (increased) padding to an image on my home screen (sidenote: is it possible to add changes which apply differently to mobile version, and desktop version? e.g. I may prefer to add a different amount of padding to my image, to avoid it becoming too small) - decreasing the automatic padding on my header (which pushes the content too far down) In green is indicated where I desire that circular image to be Thank you, PS. I am quite new to coding, so being explicit is appreciated (template is Forte)

  20. Site URL: https://www.dannyrothschild.com/design/posters Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to add spacing between images in my slideshow reel gallery on Squarespace 7.1. Every option I've found so far cuts off a portion of the image, and when viewed on phones, the images are no longer centered. I don't need to add any padding on top or bottom, just between the images, but without cropping them. Anybody know how to do this? Thanks!

  24. Site URL: https://cals.art Site password: pump Good day everyone! On desktop, the videos I'm hosting on my site are displayed without any margin or border around them, and due to screen size they are often larger than the window itself, requiring scrolling and going into full-screen in order to properly view the content Is it possible to, on desktop only, add padding or a margin to the videos?
