  1. Site URL: https://www.findthemotherlode.com/read Hi there. My blog looks fine on desktop view, but when I switch to mobile view, the posts are all really close together (no gaps), despite the padding being set to the maximum. Is there a CSS injection to increase the space between the blog posts in MOBILE VIEW ONLY, leaving the desktop view the same? Thanks!
  2. Hello there! I am trying to reduce the padding above and below the title of my shopping page title. Link: https://www.silkyloungewear.com/shop/shop-all Might there be a custom CSS for this? I'd also like to reduce the size of the large heading, to about 3/4 the size perhaps. Thanks! Lydia
  3. Site URL: https://www.huntersgaragepa.com/ Hello, I would like if the padding on the top and bottom of the website header could be changed. I made a visual of what I'm looking for. The red dotted line is where i would like the top and bottom of the header to be. Any help would be great 🙂
  4. Site URL: http://www.simpledwelling.net Hi everyone, I'm looking to spruce up my website, and wanting to add some padding to the left of my Blog collection page, similar to what https://softervolumes.com/ has done to their 'Latest' section. I don't want to the padding to be site wide, nor apply to actual blog posts, just the desktop version of the Blog collection page. Can anyone help with some code?
  5. Hello! The items shown in related products at the bottom of my product listings are spaced out evenly on desktop, but on mobile they get squished together and start to overlap. Any tips to add additional space between the related products? (the padding adjustments in site styles only seem to change the listing info and don't affect the related products section) Images: Left: desktop view of related products Right (2 images): mobile view of related products (price text cut off)
  6. Hi, I am hoping to get some custom css so I can change the padding for my blog posts (ALL PAGES) for TABLET only. Looks fine on desktop and mobile. As you can see from screenshot there is a lot of space to the right and left which I would like to adjust for tablet only. THANKS!
  7. Hi! www.iivokorhonen.com/en/cv My page uses multiple images in sections for my curriculum vitae, but in mobile view there is a huge amount of blank extra space between those sections (or images). In squarespace mobile editor it shows everything is alright, but in web-based mobile view sites and on my own phone, this problem is clearly visible. As you can see the section height is set to minimum (1), so I don't know where the blank space comes from. Thanks for your help!
  8. Hi, I'm new here. I have 3 questions: 1) I'm wondering how to customize the lightbox on this website with code? I want the background to be solid white and for the description to show below the image. Also for the image to be larger. Is there any way to have a title and a description, or only description? The lightbox here is great but I don't have any idea how to do it: https://www.lucasmasch.com/ 2) How do I get the dropdown links under 'work' to align the other way? The menu is too wide and the links align right instead of left. 3) The margin between the menu and content on the 'Shop' page is enormous. I don't see any function to make it less so I guess I have to do it with code, but don't know how. Website: https://cod-giraffe-b6w7.squarespace.com/ Haven't published the site yet so the password is 'sunflower'. Thank you for your help!!!
  9. Hi, I would like some feedback on my site please. I think it needs to be more interactive on the home page as I have a high bounce rate. Also there is huge spacing when I look at it on a mobile. Can you change the overall design of your site or do you have to stick with what you initially chose? TIA
  10. How do I adjust the padding between the code block created for tabs and the content in the section below? https://hexahedron-iguana-cd6z.squarespace.com/matis-facials pw midas2023
  11. I am using Squarespace 7.1 and need to remove vertical padding from sections - i.e. where sections join other sections. I imagine I'm not the only one thinking there is too much white space as a default and I can't find a way to remove it. Any ideas? I'm a new squarespace user and unfamiliar with custom css but will go down that road if needed. Thanks!
  12. I have a site, with a section block set to the following: - Fill screen - Height = L - Alignment = centered On my iPad, Macbook, Surface and iMac it works perfectly but on the client's machines running the following resolutions, content in the section is cut-off at the bottom: 1366x768 1920x1080 Clearly these screens aren't the best spec but they are large company issue so there's very little I can do about them. Using inspector in FireFox, it looks like the padding on the section when set to 'L' is 10vmax, however changing it to either 2, or 3 would probably make enough of a difference to see all the content on the screen. I know I should be able to do this via CSS but I can't get it working. I know by changing the height to either 'S', or 'M' reduces the padding however my video content then doesn't fill the screen on larger monitors. Below is the code I have: <div id="yui_3_17_2_1_1674730387775_310" .page-section.vertical-alignment--middle:not(.content-collection):not(.gallery-section):not(.user-items-list-section):not(.editmode-changing-rowcount).section-height--large > .content-wrapper { padding-top: 3vmax; padding-bottom: 3vmax;
  13. I've added a code block to the footer of a website, however, in Fluid Engine the Embedded Script block is adding additional spacing below the code that needs to be removed. Attached is a screenshot of the website footer, showing the extra space in black below the code. The black block should be narrow, preferably 1 row in height, not 8 as shown currently. The footer code used is: <div class="footer-copyright-statement"> <em> <p style="font-size:80%; text-align:center;"> Copyright &copy; 2022-<script>document.write(new Date().getFullYear())</script> Allen Brothers Cattle All Rights Reserved | <u><a style="color:#ffffff;" href="/legal">Legal</a></u> | Website by <u><a style="color:#ffffff;" href="https://www.generation6.co/">Generation 6 Marketing</a></u></p></em></div> CSS .footer-copyright-statement { height:150px; width:100%; padding:10px; } Thank you for any help or suggestions.
  14. Password for website : loukianos2023 I have a few questions concerning my website. The theme I’m using is Jasper Jin. On gallery pages, how do I adjust the maximum width of every image? how do I adjust the outer padding only on gallery pages? I would like to reduce the outer padding of my galleries. And if I want to have different width for each gallery, is it possible? On Mobile view can I change the padding on my homepage? How much can I customise that for mobile? How can I have a transparent overlay effect on a image that is a link? How to change spacing between specific blocks? How to change spacing between site navigation and first block, for the whole site? Can Navigation links follow you on scrolling?
  15. Hi, I made a website (ypat.be) and it looks fine on desktop and mobile. But when I rotate my phone for landscape mode, I get a huge white gap, I'm guessing padding (which I can't find using inspect element). In the website editor you can't access landscape mode, and with custom css I also can't get it to work. I included a screenshot from portrait mode, and a screen recording from landscape mode below. Anyone had the same problem or knows how to fix this? site.mp4
  16. Hello everyone, I'm working for a client that required some embed videos from Wistia platform. I'm getting some unwanted white space that becomes even worst on mobile version. I've tried everything I read here on the forums but nothing seems to be working for me. Nor this: .sqs-block.code-block.sqs-block-code { margin-top: 0px !important; margin-bottom: 0px !important; } .sqs-block.code-block.sqs-block-code { padding-top: 0px !important; padding-bottom: 0px !important; } or this one: .code-block { padding: 0px !important; } even both seems to be working for some users on the forum. I attach my embed code and some screens of the problem. Also a screen where you can see I can make it smaller in the editor. This is my testing site: https://mouse-crane-bnah.squarespace.com/ pass: MOTA Thanks in advance for your help
  17. Hi! I'm finding that padding on mobile is all over the place on my site, with big gaps between sections. What's the easiest way to fix? I've tried reducing section height, etc. Thank you! https://azalea-arugula-4sta.squarespace.com/lunya-color-capsules
  18. Hi, I discovered that when I am on my blog on mobile devices, the blog post title is too high up and there is too much space between it and the images on the page. It for some reason is now located behind my website title. Is there a way to change the spacing of the blog post title? I don't mind where the slideshow is on the page, I would just like to move the title.
  19. Site URL: https://translegal-llc.squarespace.com/ Hi, Am having no luck writing CSS to target a section in 7.1 to reduce the space above and below this image in a gallery section (screenshot). Would love some help! Thanks, Barbara
  20. Hi everyone, I could use your help with this issue because I can't figure what is wrong for the life of me. I have attached two screenshots: one is from the editing preview on squarespace, and the other is how the actual website looks when it's published. If you check out the screenshots, you'll see that the text size, margins, padding etc looks very different. When I publish the website, the paragraph font is much smaller and the padding/margins between the paragraph and the keywords below it is huge. I don't know how to fix this, as this huge spacing gap is not visible when I edit the website. Btw this happens on desktop preview only. Any tips? My website URL is https://www.marianikolistudio.org/
  21. Hello – and thank you in advance for your help and patience with beginners. 22. Site URL: https://coconut-grasshopper-b736.squarespace.com/config/pages/632491ecd2457c0d3e60fa0e?p site password : gingerkev Hi all Re my case studies - accessed by clicking individual pics on home page... I want to reduce the gap between the pagination 'strip' below my case studies grid simple galleries , and the footer below- as per first pic below. The problem i'm having is that if i reduce the top margin of the footer too much (to effectively raise it up) the footer content starts to disappear under the pagination section, if i can call it a section - as per second pic. I dont see a section ID for the pagination arrows - I guess if it had a section number i could trim top/bottom margin.... Can anyone help? 1000 thanks in advance Kev
  23. Hiya, Is there some CSS so I can can give my main blog page a bit of padding at the sides, so the posts don't go right to the edge of the screen/display? See photo. I know I can do this in site styles, but that does it for the whole website and I don't want that - thank you!
  24. Hello, I am experiencing problems with the spacing on my website. On the display, which is much larger screen size than my laptop, the spacing on my page becomes increased and uneven. Is there a way I can turn off the responsiveness for desktop? The screenshot with lots of extra padding is from my monitor display.
  25. Site URL: https://seamtech.squarespace.com/ Hi everyone. I am hoping that there's a solution for reducing the extra space that a code block creates. I have uploaded an SVG but as you can see in the screenshot, it creates a big container. Is there a way to target this so I can have the boat animation closer to text? https://seamtech.squarespace.com/ pa33word Many thanks Claire 🙂
