  1. This tutorial shows how to change 7.1 blog post width wide or narrow. Code is not required and if still have some in your site trying to change the width, you should remove it.
  2. You are welcome. If you stick with Squarespace, and need help on deciding what template to build on, design tweaking or coding, we are here. This forum is a great service, one you can't buy at any price.
  3. Can you could make those four seperate images? If you do then you can put them on a page and make each image link to where you want it to go.
  4. I have run into this too with text I have copied. I found that if I copy it to wordpad from my word processor first and from there to my site, I don't get the extra spaces.
  5. You simple create a file link, can be text, button, image. Directions and video guide are here: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205813928-Uploading-and-managing-files
  6. With 7.0 you have to have a gallery page for the summary block to see, loaded, not a gallery block and it cannot be inside an index page or the summary will not pull content from it. 7.0 summaries can also pull content from events, projects, and products page. It will pull content from a blog. 7.1 only sees content from a blog, store, or event pages. Both 7.0 and 7.1will allow gallery blocks in a blog and summaries will link and pull a thumbnail from those pages as well.
  7. This is doable, using category filters. This can be done using hyper- links. One for each cat. You can put them on seperate buttons as you posted or just simple text lines, or image. You can highlight the word savings for example, turn it into a link to your blog page and choose what category in the blog you want. I do this a lot, both in my blog linking other posts, and on my nav bar. I can also do it on my landing page, if I want. my random views
  8. Code like this might do the trick but you would need the id number for your footer, there is a chrome plugin that does just that. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/squarespace-id-finder/igjamfnifnkmecjidfbdipieoaeghcff?hl=en div#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1584969760368_21035+.row .spacer-block { padding-bottom: 0; padding-top: 0; }
  9. Script disabled appears if you are viewing your site within configuration. Open an incognito window or a second browser. You have to view your site as a normal viewer for the script to run. There is this guide free plugin also for star rating. https://www.powr.io/tutorials/how-to-add-star-rating-plugin-to-your-squarespace-site
  10. What template are you using? It would be even more helpful if you posted your site address and set a site wide password too if needed.
  11. The proportions and aspect ratio are fine when I look at the site. Clicking on the about image took me directly to that page as well. Nice site by the way.
  12. Are you using 7.0 or 7.1? In 7.1 gallery pages, sections or projects sections click the litte image icon, panel opens on the left with thumbnails, I hit the upload images + , I can choose to drag and drop like with 7.0 or open one of my image folders. I can choose/ click put the check mark on multiple thumbnails from my image folders on my desktop and up they go with a progress bar instead ot that spinning circle I get in 7.0. I tested both my 7.0 and 7.1 sandbox/lab sites and could upload multiple images in any gallery page or gallery/project or gallery block.
  13. Can you get into config and create a page? Not install template, just create a page? The url behaves like there is no home page.
  14. You should start your own thread , make a new post, and put a link to your site. You will get useful responses if you do.
  15. This should help you: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205814778-Adding-pages-to-your-navigation If it is an existing page or section and not on the nav bar you can add an anchor link: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/207135178-Creating-anchor-links
  16. You can check an ssl cerificate here: https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html
  17. I take it you have multiple contributors, multiple authors? There is not an automatic way, but we can make it simpler for you, depending on the level of contribution. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205810518-Basic-authors https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/221530967-Managing-blog-post-authors
  18. Code blocks are standard actually, with all plans. A Brine family template should allow you to add one in the footer. This simple code snippet pasted in the code block set for html will work, past it in place of "hello world" <a href="#" class="btt"> Back to Top </a>
  19. Trials last two weeks, if a trail is not activated it it will expire, there is some grace time. If you have a design interface then you have a site started. Your site is marked private. If you need help and want someone to check it for you then go into setup to site settings, site availability, mark it for password, create one, and then post it here. This allows folks to see your site before it goes "live" it has nothing to do with your actual account. This is a common practice here to help folks design, troubleshoot, and provide custom code. FYI the expired url could be your custom dom
  20. What happens when you try uploading multiple images at once into the media panel? What do you see? I have over a thousand images on my site, in gallery pages, blogs, gallery blocks and have had multiple things happen, or not happen when uploading but when it comes to a gallery page or block, when its a new one, I upload multiple images, usually by drag and drop at once, both for myself and the other photography sites I manage.
  21. The blog works really well and couple that with a summary block, if you want more style options, and you can make, without a lot of work, what you need.
  22. I did this with a group of blog posts, that is serialized. I guess that is the best word for it. I have a link to them on my nav bar. Its not hard to do at all. The nice thing is that link could be a button, in a footer, many places, including a landing page as you can see here: my random views
  23. Depends on how long you have had your 7.0 site. I suggest you read this before moving: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038270572-Moving-from-Squarespace-version-7-0-to-version-7-1
