  1. Hi @Adr_81 do you mean like these arrows on this page? https://deer-iris-4czx.squarespace.com/work
  2. The code doesn't work because there are no sections in blog posts. How would you want this to work for blog posts? What would be the "first section"?
  3. Hi @Adr_81 please share your url. Even if you have provided it in your original post, it is not shown to the forum for some reason!
  4. Hi @Roselion Hover over your blog section > Click Edit Section > Under Format, scroll down to Meta, choose which meta data you want to display. Let me know how it goes.
  5. Hi @dothert what settings are you looking for? Settings under Design have been moved to various places. You might find this forum post here useful. However, note that since that post was made, the Site Title and Logo menu has changed slightly. See Squarespace's Adding a site title .
  6. The password to your website is incorrect. Instead of code, you can add a line block, if you drag this to span the width of your grid, this will then resize dynamically to your site margins. To hide that block on your homepage, you can add this to your Custom CSS .homepage #block_id { display: none; }
  7. For mobile view, you will need to do the same as you have done for desktop. Top right corner of edit, click on the Mobile View icon, and Edit. You can drag and drop, much like you did for desktop, or click on a block and click the up/down arrow to move them. Let me know how it goes.
  8. "Not appearing on Google", it depends on what you mean by this! What did you search on Google? Did you try the site search? This will confirm if Google knows about your site or not. This might not be the same as your site "appearing on Google" though. Being in Google's index and for Google to show it are different things. In terms of being indexed, unfortunately no one can control how long Google takes to index a website, if you've done everything and no errors, the only thing is to wait.
  9. Hi @greatlakesurbex the code you have posted is syntactically incorrect. Please share a link to the page you are having issues with with the community so we can help more easily.
  10. @KTFBC please share your url link to the community to see the issue you are describing. As a stab in the dark, are you using masonry grid? If so, the ordering cannot be controlled as that is how masonry works. You can try basic grid instead.
  11. @Poncho I would insert a line break to force the "Personal Development" into 2 lines. So after "Personal" , press enter or shift+enter on your keyboard, then "Development" will go on the second line. This way it is the same as your other two titles. A simple editing trick!
  12. Hi, those are pages in your navigation. To remove them, you need to move the pages to the section under "Not Linked". Please see Squarespace's article on how to Remove a page from navigation.
  13. Hi, between 7.0 and 7.1, the html has likely changed. There is no #brush class in Squarespace, so this must have been a custom code, added using Javscript. Is there code in your Code Injection that adds the class "brush"?
  14. Hi @NadjaK it can take Google quite some time (up to a few weeks) to index a new website. If you've connected to Google Search Console and there are no errors, then patience is key. I just did this check on Google site: www.aperture-pix.com and can see that your website is in Google's index, so it is searchable on Google. That is good! I have noticed that your business name contains words that are very specific but also highly searched keywords for photography; "aperture" and "pix". This unfortunately means that you are competing with a lot of photography content on the internet. SEO experts might be able to help more on this front. But I would suggest focusing your SEO effort on keywords that your potential audience would search to find your content, rather than your business name alone. Hope this helps.
  15. Excellent 🙂 Happy to help, glad it's all working for you. Could you mark my post above as the solution please? To help others find the answer easier. Thanks
  16. Hi, Type this into Google site:yourwebsite.com Does your website show up? If yes, then your website is indexed by Google. The issue of not seeing your website in Google is to do with SEO. If not, then I would wait, as 72 hours is not that long, could take weeks for a new website. Submitting your sitemap in Google Search Console can help speed things up.
  17. This sounds like your text block and image block are overlapping. Double check that the blue outline (visible when dragging blocks around) of the text block and button block are not overlapping each other. When you say "at the end of paragraphs", is this one continuous text block where you've placed buttons on top of? I would suggest splitting the text block up. So you have a text block with a button placed below, another text block with a button placed below etc. This way they won't overlap each other, and should respond nicely to different screen sizes.
  18. To find the relevant settings easier, when in Sites Styles, you can click on the block and it'll bring up/jump to the relevant setting. E.g. open Site Styles, click fonts, then in your website, click on the blog title (it will have a thin blue outline to indicate where you are clicking). Otherwise, you can find the blog layout you used under one of the Edit settings. The same place where you can change the blog layout. Hope this helps.
  19. You can set a password for the entire website as well as for an individual page. There are two settings. But as Ziggy said, a link would be useful
  20. You might have set a password for the individual page. See Squarespace's article on Page Passwords for more information.
  21. You can play around with this number! Although I wouldn't recommend less than 1, as for certain screen sizes it might clip. This line basically says to set the line-height to be a multiple of 1 of the font-size. .Marquee h1 { line-height: 1!important; } Let me know how it goes!
  22. You want the top of the text touching the border between the coloured sections?
  23. Try this in your Custom CSS. .Marquee-svg { transform: none; } Let me know how it goes. Might need to add !important. When you say remove padding, assuming something like this? Rather than having the top of the text touching the border?
