  1. Site URL: https://grouper-star-jej6.squarespace.com/ Hello, My web designer has used custom code (Will Myer's) to get the look our company wants for the site. However, we are finding discrepancies in font styles and size between Macs vs. PCs, Android devices vs. IOS, Ipad vs phone, etc. Basically, we want a consistent font height and look across all media. Does anyone know what's wrong? The site is: https://grouper-star-jej6.squarespace.com/ PW: 123 The below images show the discrepancy between font sizes. The secondary navigation bar should have the same font size as the project titles, but this is not the case with the Windows version. Thanks for all your help!
  2. Site URL: https://www.mayamukhopadhaya.com/work I can't find where to edit the size of the title headings for blog posts - either in the blog post itself or in the gallery view of all blog posts. As a result, the titles are larger than I would like. How can I edit the title size? I looked in Design as well as in the Edit options for the Blog. PW to site url: mayam
  3. Site URL: https://www.bethlehemsynagogue.org/photos-archived Hi there everyone! Who's excited!? Squarespace made it possible to display captions on gallery pages! Woohoo! 4. How do I change the font size used in the caption of image blocks for Beatrice template? Do I need to inject the same code on each page I use the image block on?
  5. I've about got my website the way I like, using the Aviator template, but on a mobile phone, the font size, which is quite comfortable on a desktop monitor, is kind of huge. As the mobile styles already change many things, I figure there might be some way of saying, "Do all the stuff you always do for mobile devices, but make all the fonts 70% of the regular mobile size, please." For reference, my website, on a page other than the Info Page so you can see the problem: http://www.withinsight-therapy.com/what-we-offer/

  7. Site URL: https://www.sharpeaero.com Hey all, How can I use the code block to make a variable text size based on browser width? I'm currently using code blocks for the headings on my homepage because I needed them to be a different colour than the default <h1> defined by my squarespace design settings. However, by using these code blocks, the text no longer resizes for smaller browser widths like squarespace builds in by default in their text blocks. Here's an example of the code I'm currently using in one of these code blocks: <h1 style="font-family:Roboto Condensed; text-transform:uppercase; font-size:72px; font-weight:700; letter-spacing:0em; text-align:center; color:hsl(0, 0%, 11%)"> <left>Buying in Bulk?</left> </h1> Website is https://www.sharpeaero.com if you want to see what I mean by text not resizing. The text on the top hero image/video will resize as it still uses the text block, but the rest of the titles/headers are code blocks and don't resize. Thanks so much for your help!
  8. Site URL: https://greyhound-roadrunner-mbsf.squarespace.com/ I cant figure out how to link an adobe web project or use any adobe fonts for my website. When I Google it, it shows linking a project for advanced settings and this can't be done in version 7.1. I don't see a place where I can paste the embed code into the html either. Has anyone been able to use adobe typekit with the newer version?

  11. The font to leave comments within my Blog is invisible because the Body Text is set to white (which I want to keep white on the rest of the site). I have read that this can be resolved with the following strip of code:.comment-input { color: #000000 !important; } But Iā€™m wondering where I put it in the code? Thank you!
  12. I'm looking for custom css that will allow me to text transform h1, but not the other headers. I'm rebuilding a site from 7.0 to 7.1 (since there is no way to just migrate...) - and we had h1 in all caps and want the new site to be that way as well. I cannot share the new page as the site isn't public/subscribed, but here is what the 7.0 page looks like: https://www.needle-movers.com/ - it is custom css... and h1. I'm also looking for custom css that will remove the header and footer on the first page, so that it is only the css and then a button to enter...operating kind of like a cover page ...

  16. I am having some issues with a font (Proxima Nova Condensed) displaying differently on different computers and browsers. My teammate and I are both on Macs version 10.15.4 with all browsers up to date. Here's the goal: With the css like this, it works perfectly on my computer (chrome and firefox) but shows up with regular weight and not condensed on my teammates computer. It also has regular weight and is not condensed when I use safari. Safari version: When I change the code to this: It works on all of my browsers but shows up with a regular font weight rather than thin. Adding !important to font-weight didn't change anything. Any help is greatly appreciated! Ideally we'd like to use Proxima Nova Condensed Thin.

  19. Site URL: https://www.gildedfarmsny.com/what-we-do Hi, I am having trouble where the font size on text that I have overlaying a photo doesn't change size when I switch to mobile. I have tried both of these custom CSS code suggested in other posts but neither have worked: 1. @media screen and (max-width:767px) { body[data-dynamic-font-sizing-enabled="true"] .sqsrte-large { font-size: 15px !important; } } 2. @media only screen and (max-width: 640px){ p{font-size:1rem!important} } Any ideas of how to fix this? Thanks for your help, Erik
  20. Site URL: https://www.erobertson.design/churchofsnails At the bottom of each of my project pages there is a link to the 'Next' project. I have added custom fonts across the site using CSS, but I can't work out how to target this small piece of text. Can anyone help? I was also wondering if it's possible to replace the word 'Next' with simple < previous and next > arrows, but I'll be happy if I can just resolve the font issue.
  21. I uploaded my font files and added a custom CSS code to specify the use of that font. In my computer it shows fine but when i tried it in other computers (One PC and the other MAC) it shows something else.

  25. Site URL: https://www.waterdragonfabrics.com/ Hi there! I am trying to create a piece of CSS code to change the font on my gallery image block (poster). The text that's in bold letters on top of the image. I have just tried piecing something together but I have not enough knowledge of CSS. Something along the lines of this: .design-layout-poster .image-title p:(color:white!important font:? size:? You can see I am not too experienced. Would appreciate your help. Also I am not sure where to take the font info from. I am imagining I can just use a font name that squarespace offers me in the site styles? Best wishes, Marco
