  1. Site URL: http://www.probussurgicalcentre.co.uk/ For some reason the site style fonts aren't displaying on my live site http://www.probussurgicalcentre.co.uk/ They look absolutely fine when I log in to edit or when I use the built-in SS domain https://probus-surgical-centre.squarespace.com/ I have just connected to a 3rd party domain and the SSL doesn't appear to be connected yet - could it be linked to this? Shall I just give it time and hope it will resolve or is there something I can do? Thanks!
  2. Site URL: http://www.readersinspired.com Hi everyone! I hope you are well. I am a bit stuck at the moment. I am looking for a way to use a custom CSS font and design of summary items and title on my site in a way that only affects pages under a specific folder (in my cause the "+Shop African Books," folder which include the following pages): West Africa East Africa North Africa Central Africa Southern Africa Non-Country Specific Pan African However the code I put in the the Design -> Custom CSS section of Squarespace (see below) has resulted in a global change of all summary items and titles. Is there a way this change to only affect the pages in the "+Shop African Books" folder and not additional parts of the site outside of this folder like it currently is now: .summary-title {font-family:Serif; font-size: 1.5rem!important} .summary-title {font-weight:bold} .summary-item {box-shadow:5px 5px 15px #ddd} .summary-item:hover {box-shadow:5px 5px #aaa}
  3. Site URL: https://www.mightyfinemfg.com I have a site I'm working on - mightyfinemfg.com I'm having issues with my H1s not displaying in the center on mobile and tablet. It could be the font itself, but I'm not sure. Any ideas on how to center with CSS? Just mobile/tablet only. URL: www.mightyfinemfg.com Pass: amightyfineproduct
  4. Site URL: https://pumpkin-parrot-mnr6.squarespace.com/ Hi. I'm working with a few different custom fonts. They are working fine on my device, but when I view the site from my phone, there's one font that's not working and it defaults to Times New Roman. Site password is tnw2022. Here's my custom CSS. @font-face { font-family: 'Moontime-regular'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/627d817cb6036a2123af28fd/t/627def058a7c847bdc20bb27/1652420357223/Moontime-regular.ttf'); h1 {font-family: 'Moontime-regular'} This is the one that's displaying in my device but not from my phone β€” I'm using it specifically for h1.
  5. Site URL: http://www.hornstrength.com Pulling my hair out over this one. I set up my blog with a custom author bio at the bottom. It's basically pulling in a summary block from another blog. Here's the guide I followed: https://www.bigcatcreative.com/blog/how-to-create-a-blog-signature-in-squarespace Here's a template blog post with the summary block at the bottom for the author bio: https://www.hornstrength.com/blog/5qqpcduqrtueykvfk1utoq7wtiuria The summary block is pulling from here (another blog): https://www.hornstrength.com/authors-profile I'm happy with it, except I'd like to change the font family for the summary to 'Roboto' and I can't do it. I suspect it has something to do with the custom CSS I added to change the font for the body of my blog posts from the site default to "minion'. .blog-item-content.e-content * { font-family: 'minion' !important; font-size: 22px; } That seems to override every attempt to change just the summary block font. Thanks for any guidance you can provide!
  6. Site URL: https://leopard-owl-xw5g.squarespace.com/ Hello. Im setting up a new site. Is it possible to have the site tile in the header with different font sizes and color? i would like to have the word CERAMICS smaller and in another color. I have looked up for the forum of similar threads, tried out some css. but couldn't find a solution. I have thought about just adding a PNG but on another site the color of my site it will have another color change. So i thought maybe changing via code is more sleek? Any help appreciated! Thanks in advance! In case you want to look up in the URL, password is: testme
  7. Site URL: https://www.genderandradiation.org/products This is an older site, using the Mentor theme in 7.0. Can anyone tell me how/where to change the font size of a product excerpt/description? In Site Styles, the only option appears to be either Show or Not Show the Excerpt, no styling options. Any guidance much appreciated!
  8. Hi, in order to be fully compliant with GDPR, I need to have the font in my own server instead of retrieving it from Google Fonts or Adobe. Otherwise Google and Adobe can store information from my visitors, which is not GDPR-compliant. However, I am not finding a way to accomplish this. I have already uploaded the font file I want to use via Design > Custom CSS. Let’s call this font "customized font". This customized font is overriding the default font given in the Squarespace settings. So adding a customized font to my own server is OK. The problem is that when the page is loaded, even if the customized font is the one used for all the texts, the default font is also downloaded. That means Google and Adobe can store information from my visitors anyway, which is not GDPR-compliant. I have already contacted the customer support via Chat, but unfortunately they were not very helpful and only referred to the this link (that gives me an error when I try to open it) or suggested to ask in the forum. Is there any way to block the default fonts, so only the customized font is downloaded? Or a way to choose a default font that is not from a third-party? Does anybody know a GDPR-compliant work-around for this?
  9. Site URL: https://shuifeng.squarespace.com How do I change the description font size in Related Products on the Product Page? I was able to get the Title and the Price but not the description. Thanks in advance.
  10. Site URL: https://languagesuccess.org/en/home Hi, our site https://languagesuccess.org/en/home is no longer displaying the chosen fonts in Safari on Mac. On Windows I see Roboto, on Mac it shows Times New Roman. On safari Inspection I see that the CSS is not loading. Neither Chrome or Safari on Mac display the font correctly. How do I resolve this please? Thanks
  11. Site URL: https://grapefruit-icosahedron-8eln.squarespace.com/ Hi! I uploaded Acherus Bold to be used as our H1 and H2 throughout the website, and it works great on the desktop view, but still picks up the old standard Bodoni font on mobile. Here is a screenshot of my custom code. It also does not show up on the mobile menu. Please help!
  12. Hi there, Cant seem to find a way to reduce the font size in the drop down menu on my products page for mobile. On the desktop the font size looks great but when I switch to mobile view the font size is very big. Is there a way I can reduce the size just on the mobile version? Thanks for the help! Below is the desktop view, which looks fine, everything fits. Below is mobile view and the font size is too big, would be great to have size and price on the same line.

  15. Site URL: http://www.flight-kicks.com At one time I had CSS code to create a <strong> font in a text box. Strangely, I have taken out tht code but the font treatment still is being applied on my page. When I'm in edit mode, the font is as it should be - poppins with regular weight. When I exit the edit mode, all the text boxes have the strong font. I'm a newbie with CSS code, but I have looked through all my code and I don't have it there any longer. Is there a way to refresh or should I reset the font in the style editor. The page in question is the /airport-destinations-test-2 page in the website. password is flightkicks Thank you for any help. It's driving me crazy!
  16. Hello Apologies in advance for posting a most basic question. Last time I built a SS site I using an older template and I distinctly remember that you could use multiple text sizes (eg. h1 with p2) in the same text box. Was I imagining this? I've tried to mix text sizes in the latest version of the Clarkson template and no matter what I do it always converts any text in the box to the same style eg. if I choose p2 all text in the box is formatted like this. Any pointers would be most welcome Thanks!
  17. Site URL: https://tambourine-khaki-6f3e.squarespace.com/ Hi! I have a custom font I am using on my site (Cooper Nouveau). I am wanting to change the nav links in my hamburger menu to this custom font. I inserted this code, however it did not work: header-burger { font-family: 'PLWestCooperNouveau' !important; } Any tips? Thank you!
  18. Site URL: https://dangthang.squarespace.com/baiviet/toi-u-tu-tai-phn-nht Hi there, I need urgent help because my dad passed away last week and I'm building a site for his funeral that takes place on Tuesday 21 June 2022. After he'd passed away we found a bunch of articles / memoirs he wrote in Vietnamese (PDF format). I want to post these on a website so people can read and remember him but when I cut and paste the articles in Vietnamese it distorts the font (see attached screenshot because it's very bad on mobile). I contacted customer service and they said "The issue you are seeing is because of the way font packages are rendered on our platform. You could look into adding custom code to your site to force the special characters to render in the same font." Can anyone help with this custom code? Or can you recommend someone who can help? Happy to pay as we need it urgently. Thao
  19. Site URL: https://chelsea-theo.squarespace.com/ My custom h4 font (Oswald, native to SS but different from other H1,2,3) is suddenly broken. It's used sporadically throughout the site and in in the footer. I've been slowly adding some other customizations (including areas that use h4 such as the footer), but I've removed and tweaked as much as I feel comfortable and nothing seems to bring it back. It's also defaulting to a serif font, which makes sense I guess since H1-3 is a custom uploaded font and I picked a similar-ish one in the styles. Site password: theo2022 Thanks so much!
  20. I'd love to implement "system UI" fonts. Those of you who are familiar with this, will know its advantages but also that there are different ways to implement. Obvi, I'm looking for the right way to implement this on my SS website - without uploading multiple font family files. On Google, you'll find tons of info, opinions, etc. on the topic, including: https://infinnie.github.io/blog/2017/systemui.html. I haven't found a SS resource, forum entry, or articles covering this topic but I'm positive there will be lots of interest in it. Thanks in advance if you're able to help out here.
  21. Site URL: https://learn.sydecar.io When I use this code, it defaults the font to Serif & I need it to be Sans-Serif. I'd be grateful if someone could take a look at this with me! This code not currently installed on the site, but I can add it in if that's helpful! /* SITE TYPEFACE */ @font-face{ font-family: roobert ; src: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/61805088a13441018ea5ff98/t/6290c9c83b09d5791eaabc09/1653656008106/Roobert-Regular.otf); } h { font-family: 'roobert, sans-serif'; font-weight: 300; font-style: sans-serif; } h1 { font-family: 'roobert'; font-weight: 300; font-style: sans-serif; } h2 { font-family: 'roobert'; font-weight: 300; font-style: sans-serif; font-size: 83px; } h3 {font-family: 'roobert'; font-weight: 300; font-style: sans-serif;} h4 { font-family: 'roobert'; font-weight: 300; font-style: sans-serif; font-size: 45px; } p { font-family: 'helvetica'; font-weight: 400; font-style: sans-serif; } p1 { font-family: 'helvetica'; font-weight: 400; font-style: sans-serif; } p2 { font-family: 'helvetica'; font-weight: 400; font-style: sans-serif; } p3 { font-family: 'roobert'; font-weight: 500; font-size: 14px; font-style: sans-serif; } /* BLOG TITLES */ h1.BlogItem-title { font-size: 83px; font-style: sans-serif; font-family: 'roobert'; } h1.entry-title { font-style: sans-serif; font-weight: 300; font-family: 'roobert'; } h2.list-item-content__title { font-style: sans-serif; font-weight: 300; font-family: 'roobert'; } h1.blog-title { font-style: sans-serif; font-weight: 300; font-family: 'roobert'; }
  22. Site URL: https://8tysix.com.au/ Hi Guys I am really hoping someone here can shed some light... I have been trying for days and googling and YouTubing with no luck. For some reason my button that is in the header/havigation of my page will not match the font of the navigation bar in size or font. I believe I managed to figure out how to match the font by applying a manual CSS code but the size of the text/font is smaller. Adding size in the CSS doesn't seem to help. Any help would be much appreciated! Thank You
