  1. Classes don't have spaces. "folder-collection folder" means it has two classes. You can target either ".folder-collection" or ".folder".
  2. Since your template doesn't have clicks on the folder name by default, you have to do it manually by using JQuery to wrap your folder name in <a> tags, and then setting the default <a> take to pointer-events: none so that only your manual tags can be clicked.
  3. Unfortunately since this would require a little more work, it may be easier for you to do a booking via the link in my signature. The steps are as follows if you want to try it out yourself though. Add the button into a code block in your footer Use Javascript .appendTo function to move the button after the last menu item Use CSS to style it as needed so it looks in line with the rest of the content.
  4. Hey Nicole, is my code currently entered into the website still? If not, could you put it back in and let me know when it's in?
  5. No I actually wasn't a student there, I was just hired to work out some of the bugs with the dschool website 🙂
  6. Ah that's definitely the case then. Do you have a link to the website so I can see if there's anything I can do in terms of coding?
  7. Use this in DESIGN > CUSTOM CSS. #collection-5e14ae8ae375184c7b011c19 .date{ display: none;} It looks like you have two different pages: https://devbio.stanford.edu/david-hogness-memoriam-guestbook (what you're looking at) https://devbio.stanford.edu/david-hogness-memoriam-guestbook/2020/1/7/guestbook (What you commented above and we're looking at)
  8. If you want the whole websites background to change, the code above will work. If you want just the section on the right to have a different color but the menu on the left stay white, you can use this instead. Click the gear icon beside the page name, go to ADVANCED and insert the following code. <style> #page{ background-color: #a4a4a4; } </style> Change the color as needed.
  9. Can you take a screenshot of where you're seeing it?
  10. I also don't see the date anymore. But you can try modifying the code slightly to this. P.S. I worked on the dschool portion of your school website! The original developers did an amazing job making that website out of Squarespace (https://dschool.stanford.edu/) <style> .collection-type-blog.view-item span.date { display: none !important; } </style>
  11. Unfortunately to keep banners responsive, that's the method Squarespace uses. What you could do instead is upload a blank black background, then use an image block to upload your logo on top of it.
  12. Hey, unfortunately that's not possible on Haute. If it had support for index pages, you could've used that with some custom coding but it doesn't have support for index pages either. Your best bet would be to change template.
  13. Hey Hollie, the easiest way to do this is to upload both the mobile and the desktop images, then hide the incorrect one as needed with custom CSS. Or you could even set up a whole section for desktop and another section for mobile, and hide each section as needed.
  14. Hey, this video will help with that issue. Your code will be slightly different because of your template, it'll be like the following. folder-toggle-label <script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $( document ).ready(function() { $(".folder-toggle-label").eq(0).prop('href', '/first-folder-link'); $(".folder-toggle-label").eq(1).prop('href', '/second-folder-link'); }); </script>
  15. The gallery itself is separate from that gallery block (notice has the top tab says USE EXISTING GALLERY). On the page where you see all over your Squarespace pages, look for a page called BEACH GALLERY. That's where the images themselves are stored. It's most likely in the section for NOT LINKED pages.
  16. Do you have a link to your website? I would add the text link only to your secondary navigation, then go to DESIGN > SITE STYLES and style your secondary navigation into a button. If you're not on a Brine template, then you'll have to use custom CSS to style the last link to look like a button.
  17. You can go to DESIGN > SITE STYLES and set a really high number for MOBILE BREAKPOINT.
  18. Hey Tom, do you have a link to your website I can take a look at?
  19. The contact section has a unique ID that you can use. Just add this as the place the button should go "#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1578409969401_36708" without the quotes. You can test it via this link. Just note that since the website can only scroll so far down, the link will scroll down as much as it can.
  20. The code in that post is meant to be used in a CODE block. So upload the images you want to a gallery in the NOT LINKED section, then right click each image to get the URL for it, then use that URL in the code. <img src="COVER_IMAGE" onmouseover="this.src='OTHER_IMAGE'" onmouseout="this.src='COVER_IMAGE'"> The above code goes into a CODE block on a page.
  21. There should be an option to change the spacing in DESIGN > SITE STYLES. If not, the following code should work (if the code doesn't work, please provide a link to your website). .collection-type-index.homepage:not(.show-homepage-banner):not(.show-index-banner).show-index-description.index-intro-text-height-extra-large .page-text-wrapper{ margin-top: 0px !important; }
  22. If you used an image block with text inside of it, that's the default behaviour. To get the text to appear first, you would need to add a text block on the left, and an image block on the right.
  23. There no default way in Squarespace to do this (the user login feature Squarespace has is only for people to view past orders). You can build in this functionality with something like Memberspace.
  24. There's not enough space for all those words + the spacing in between them. I would bring down the spacing between items, or set your mobile breakpoint to a higher value so the website uses the mobile header when the words no longer fit.
  25. Hey Emily, do you have a link to the website and pages in particular you want to modify? In the meantime, you can try clicking the gear icon beside a page, go to ADVANCED and insert the following code and modify the color as needed. <style> body{ background-color: #a4a4a4 !important; } </style>
