  1. When you set up your appointment types. Go to availability and set up your hours and your scheduling limits how you like.
  2. Each repair person is a resource. If it’s just you then you are 1 resource. the 10 bike boxes are another resource . So the maximum appointments at any given time is 10. appointment type book bike box. Check resource needed bike box, appointment type repair. Check resources needed bike box and you.
  3. You would need to create appointment types with prices for 1, 2, 3 hours etc.
  4. Create a new calendar in the scheduler for the group classes. That way it doesn't affect the ability of your other services to be booked. This is what we did with our calendars: Group stuff Anything we want to be hourly Main calendar with all public service types Private calendar for members Walk-ins (we turned an android tablet into a kiosk) Calendar with no prices for another group of clients On the Group stuff calendar, we stick all of our group classes, clinics, etc. We have 4 tunnels - so we want all of them occupied! If we have a class, we could choose to use two tunnels, so we just reserve another "rental" on the main calendar. Anything that is scheduled as a class only blocks off one tunnel. We found a way to use all 6 of the calendars included in our plan...not the way they intended them to be used. 😃
  5. I thought I had provided the solution here. I am not sure I understand what is happening here - you write this and mark your response as the solution? Is that how this forum works? An employee writes something, with a link to a knowledge base article, but doesn't actually explain a thing, and marks it as the solution, to something that was already solved...I guess I need to stop trying, as a mere member, to provide any assistance on this forum. The OP thanked me for providing them with a solution???? Or am I completely off-base.
  6. Create a new gift certificate under "Packages, Gifts & Subscriptions." (Acuity Scheduling) You choose what the certificate can be applied to Customize it however you need You can make the gift certificate public for people to buy directly, or if cash... You receive the cash payment - create a new order and select the gift certificate you created. Record the payment. An email with the code is generated and sent to the client. The client can then click on the link in the email to book their appointment in the scheduler.
  7. Yes, and ask them to use email instead as the unique identifier. Contact Support
  8. Same principle. Resources: Singles Tables: 6 Couples Tables: 3 When you set up the resources this way, you will be able to set up your appointment types based on what resources are available. There can be at most 3 couples scheduled at the same time OR 6 singles, or any combination of the same. Appointment type: Singles Massage: Resources required Singles Table. Appointment type: Couples Massage: Resources required: Couples Tables. Set up limited by appointment type: Calendar scheduling limits 6 max appointments (six singles) Calendar scheduling limit 3 max appointments (3 couples)
  9. I received a response this morning: How do they even think that this was a good idea. The Matt/Matthew issue is the system creating a Matt and a Matthew entry even though the phone number and email match. I don't know why they don't see that email as the unique identifier would fix these issues.
  10. Say, for example, you have 5 Rooms and 6 Total Tables. One Room with Two Tables, and the Other 4 Rooms with 1 Table in Each. Resources would then be: Room 1: 1 Table Room 2: 1 Table Room 3: 1 Table Room 4: 1 Table Room 5: 2 Tables Appointment Type: Singles Massage - uses any of Rooms 1 - 4 (which only have 1 Table in each) Appointment Type: Couples Massage - uses Room 5 (which has 2 Tables). So set up your resources accordingly - by what is available in each room. Then you would set up your calendar scheduling limits would be limited to 4 for singles, and 1 for couples.
  11. Appointment type: 1 scheduling session - price $50 Appointment type: 4 scheduling sessions package - price $120 Create a package for the 4 scheduling sessions for the $120 price. You can select the number of sessions (four, single session) Look at our lessons/lesson packages option: Bases Loaded Booking Page
  12. In addition to this, I always include a second email field, with the caption: "Verify email address." If they aren't copying and pasting, the email address should then be without typos. I've actually had a couple copy and paste their incorrectly typed email address - had to text them to get the correct email, and resend their confirmation email.
  13. I recently encountered this. Father and son...Sr. & Jr. Neither were using their suffix. And the system merged the two of them, despite differing emails and phone numbers. Spoke with both, and they have started to use it. No issues anymore, unless they forget to add it. I am assuming that your clients aren't related? I would suggest adding a symbol after the last name of the more amenable client, and ask them to add it after their last name, when they make a booking? The system should not be doing this...will now submit as a bug.
  14. Create a package for 10 sessions/classes - when you get paid, you create a new order, select the package, and record the payment (cash) This generates a code/certificate, which is attached to the clients email address. They can redeem using the code or their email address. Each session/class is then deducted from their "balance," until it gets to zero.
  15. Wow, never even thought of this scenario for tunnel rentals. The only thing I can think of, is playing around with resources - your resources would be hours, or spots? Using resources to limit bookings in Scheduling We use 5 resources - tunnels (4), trainer (1), and pitching machines (3 types - 1 of each). Our site for reference: Bases Loaded.
  16. I had to up my calendars back to 5 again. Things were wonky for some appointment types not showing the correct availability when they were on our general booking calendar. Now trainers are on their own calendar again. AND lessons and lesson packages - since we now want them to start on the hour instead of every 30 minutes - it just wasn't showing correctly even with setting them up as a different group of appointments. For some reason, when it should have had availability, it was showing as not available. Very strange. I cannot think of any reason why that was displaying incorrectly. Had a great back and forth with support over email - I really hope the developers listen and implement some things sooner rather than later.
  17. Use the direct links to each calendar to embed them on your page, and use a text block to add your text for each calendar. Any text that is the same for all three, you can use the customize appearance section in scheduler.
  18. Are your appointment types set to private? If yes, make them public. Also check that they are attached to the calendar that you configured for the appointment block.
  19. Hi, I put two appointment blocks on a page and the second one ended up with an unwanted vertical scroll bar. How can I get rid of it? I tried some codes I found on here but they did nothing but disable scrolling for the site. Thanks for any help.
  20. We use it for an indoor training facility - lessons, camps, clinics, tunnel rentals. Baseball/Softball. There are 4 tunnels and one person for lessons - so...resources. Plus 3 pitching machines, 2 for baseball and 1 for softball - 3 more resources. Using 3 calendars of the six currently - only one location but different settings for each calendar. For e.g., besides our general booking page, we have one that is specifically to book teams for winter training - had to split weekends and weekdays into two - they can book all 4 tunnels on weekends but in the week restricted to two. Another is only displayed at the facility on a tablet in kiosk mode - with 0 hours in advance set to allow walk-ins to sign in for rentals, but also allow regulars to schedule their next appointment before they leave if they wish to utilize it. Edited because made some changes under the hood, and decreased the number of calendars being used. Duplicated appointment types - that was a pain in the....😠WHY can't we select a calendar for New Orders of Gift Certificates/Packages (we can for appointments!!!). I emailed support asking about this. The duplicated appointment types are good for the kiosk display - so no one can schedule with zero time buffer from outside of the facility). I duplicated everything because I don't want people to have a choice of what calendars to use. I realized that when I process a new order for gift certificates/packages, and the person uses the links in the email - they would get to select which calendar to schedule from - NOPE!!! Kiosk has a zero minutes beforehand to schedule, so if it's 12:45PM, can schedule at 1:00PM - not what we want. General booking page allows clients to book up to an hour prior). That brings me to another peeve - why is it that there is only one email template for packages/certificates? And why can't we edit the links - you can only see them in the preview - the HTML doesn't even show the link so we could at least edit it there??? I created new appointment types with the discount for the trainers, made them private - we have, and will always have only a handful of members - not paid memberships, no signups, we put them in. I found membershipworks - free forever up to 50 members. Integrates seamlessly with the site. Perfect for our use - no more password protected page. Created sign in page, page with the trainer's scheduling calendar, and a sign out page.
  21. If all your Booking Suites are being used for the same thing for that One Hour appointment type - you could do this: Resource: Booking Suites - 3 (You can create Rooms/Resources when you click Availability) Appointment Type: One Hour, with Resources checked and the name of the Calendar checked Calendar Scheduling Limits: 3 You can then name your Appointment Types whatever you need. We have 4 tunnels or batting cages. So we created a Resource called Tunnels (4). Then our Appointment Type is 1 Hour Rental etc. and we limit it by checking off the Tunnels Resource. Our calendar availability is set to 4 slots. So no more than 4 people can book or 1 person can book all 4. If that makes sense.
  22. Do not hit reschedule!!! First click on Edit and then click on the existing appointment type which gives you the drop down list to choose the other one.
  23. In scheduler, you should be able to open the appointment, hit edit, click on the appointment type and select the beginner class. After which you can change the date(s) as needed. Then just resend the confirmation email to the client. I don't think that would matter if it's a part of a series....you have override abilities. If I am wrong, would love to know the answer as well.
  24. Calendar Appointments per time slot - 3 - accept until fully booked Resources Lanes - 3 Bowling Machine- 2 Appointment Types: Bowling Lane with Machine - required resource Lanes Bowling Machine Bowling Lane with Machine - required resource Lanes Bowling Machine Bowling Lane without Machine - required resource Lanes This is if your bowling machines are moveable to different lanes. Do not use add-ons - I think that's basically an unlimited resource... If the machines are permanently in place: Calendar Appointments per time slot - 3 - accept until fully booked Resources Lanes - 3 Bowling Machine A- 1 Bowling Machine B - 1 Appointment Types: Bowling Lane with Machine A - required resource Lanes Bowling Machine A Bowling Lane with Machine B - required resource Lanes Bowling Machine B Bowling Lane without Machine - required resource Lanes
