Hi, all...I'm seeking some marketing help with Google Adwords and converting customers on Squarespace. I have Adwords campaigns set up and they are driving a lot of traffic, but not converting well to purchase the book "Dear Graduate," which is a gift book for graduates of any age. We are doing well with sales on Uncommon Goods, at 50+ indie bookstores, and social media posts. I'm in marketing, but wondering how to improve our conversion rates from traffic coming from Adwords. Any leads to marketing folks (or suggestions otherwise) are most welcome! Charlie

Thanks for your comment! We're working on being able to ship anywhere in the world. We did have visitors to the site from outside the US, but as we just launched the book in March it was tricky to be able to ship everywhere right at first. Will have it functioning soon, though! -Charlie

The best option is to export from a vector-based software (like Adobe Illustrator) and export the logo to an svg format. See if that works better! -Charlie

Leanne- Your site looks great! It covers everything I would look for before hiring a designer. One thought: if you wanted to attract specific industries or types of businesses, you could also include that in text so that if people are searching and using those keywords that would also put your site in the running there. Continued good luck with your business! -Charlie

Steve: Congrats on launching your business! I think the site looks great! A few thoughts: * I know a lot of times when people are looking for a counselor they want to know the process for getting started and your approach. • I think having a short video of you speaking and welcoming people and explaining who you are and what you do would help make people more comfortable and seeing if they feel like it is a good fit. * For SEO purposes, you might add the names of other places nearby so that they also appear on the site and help with people who are searching in those areas. Hope this is helpful and good luck! Charlie

Hi, Dawn...I think it's set to "private" so you would need to provide a password for people to see it before it is published for the public to view. -Charlie- 2 replies

Site URL: http://deargraduatebook.com Hi, all...I co-wrote and published a book in March called "Dear Graduate." It was designed as a gift for graduates of any age. Instead of asking, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" it asks, "What will you do when you group up?" We've received great feedback on the book, finding it strikes a nerve with a lot of people...in a good way. We're also distributing to a handful indie booksellers around the US. I do marketing for a living and we acquired 6,800 visitors to the site. We converted many, but without knowing why people didn't buy the book, I'm trying to figure that out. Certainly some of it is that the book isn't for them (or doesn't move them), the price point, having to pay shipping, not being from a known publisher, etc. Was curious if the Squarespace community might take a look and let me know if there is anything that you find is a turn-off or that wouldn't make you want to buy the book. We posted the full book online, as it really needs a way to be seen and read before buying. I know that helped sell books as well as likely inhibit others from purchasing it. Appreciate any and all thoughts...and congratulations to all the graduates out there! Charlie
