"Shipping not available for this product: Unable to ship to the address entered"

I have my site set up to ship to outside of the US, but when any country outside the US is selected as the country, we get an error message:

Shipping not available for this product

Unable to ship to the address entered

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

All good - discovered that the drop down box was automatically setting to Australia but the postage setting was to USA....now how to make Australia not the default for that option...ughhh...
