    That is your best bet. I don't think you need to remove the header and footer for that page, like a home/cover page. You can create a blank page and add four click thru-image blocks or a gallery with four images each set for click-thru. The click thru can go to any page on your site or off.

    Looks like you took your Avenue site and came up with a good landing page option. I use a landing page with my Avenue site as well. I use the Montage template. I can't image trying to build one myself that looks as good.

    derricksrandomviews got a reaction from ShortAngryViking in Dropdown menu WITHIN a page, not in the top nav
    You simply need an item title and a one or multi  line description which is also your link or links to any page. That is not a bad thing when located in the middle of a page as opposed to being on the NAV bar. It is the easiet way to have a drop down in a page.  It will be better looking than stacking text links in a box, which don't drop down.

    Very nice! Attractive colors, and the scrolling script makes it fun to look at.

    I've just anwered my own question, found out how to set the max width without using CSS under the main edit page: Edit > Site Styles > Spacing > Page Width (Max)

    @derricksrandomviews, I just wanted to say thank you for your comment and for looking at my site. I read a lot of yours as well, and was very moved by the personal writing about your families story. It actually inspired me to begin work on a personal photography project about "miracles" that I've been thinking about for a long time. I'm very happy that you shared your site with me.

    Derrick, thanks for the feedback. I agree with your opinion on American TV, although much of Europe has also followed the "reality" show trend. I think there are many like-minded folks out there, which is why I developed the site.

    It appears a parallax effect has been added to 7.1.  These instructions were provided by Kellijayne, Circle Member:
    Add a new section to your page (blank") Add a background image then choose "EDIT SECTION" Click on "background" Scroll to "Image Effects" Click the thumbnail... second one down on the right Click on the "adjust" little icon on right below thumbnail Click PARALLAX - make sure angle is set to "90", you can also adjust the intensity PRESTO! we all now have Parallax!

    Open setup, Choose your blog page, and one of the posts. Then on the left in the setup menu click design then fonts, then the title of your blog, on the left again open the size menu then choose custom, then use the slider to adjust title size of your blog title, it will not adjust the title of your site, to do that click it and use the same slider. These are global controls.

    derricksrandomviews got a reaction from nicson123 in Blog Page - Featured Image not appearing next to post
    Using a Montauk family template which is a 7.0 template, you need to add an image block in the post iteslf at the top of the page,  and add the same image you put in the featured image field.  Click on the image block plus sign and click select from library. Your image will be there and you can add it to the block.  You can upload a different image if you want as well. Featured images show up in summary blocks or when your post is linked somewhere like in Facebook. They do not show up in the post itself.

    If using Workspace throught Squarespace. You do get a free year under certain Squarespace plans and simple billing.  Also it is easier to use your Squarespace domain with Workspace if purchased through Squarespace., if not already signed up with Workspace. This help article will provide more info:

    You can move your home page to the unlinked section of your site. That should take it off the nav bar and to underline acitive links look here:

    I have a logo that I made using Squarespaces logo maker. I don't use it all the time, and I have one that is animated, it moves like a shutter click as well. My logo is the name of my site. It is a play on words. I am a photographer, writer about  my life and view of life, faith, (never politics) and I write about the view through my motorhome window, which can be random at times.  My wife came up with the name.  my random views

    I am afraid that what you want is impossible. Anyone can copy content from a site, if they know how by using screenshots, snipping software or right clicking, copy and paste or using save as function. Drag and drop is another way content is used. Disabling right click may stop some folks, but will not stop them all, and other code as you found out, when you use it, may breakl something else. Images can be watermarked using post processing software, but I don't bother because I choose to just let my work be out there.  This guide will tell you more:
    Prevent website content downloading
    You can add code into your website header code injection to prevent right clicking but this will not stop screen shot grabbing or image drag and drop onto the desktop :
    <script language=JavaScript> var message="Function Disabled!"; function clickIE4(){ if (event.button==2){ alert(message); return false; } } function clickNS4(e){ if (document.layers||document.getElementById&&!document.all){ if (e.which==2||e.which==3){ alert(message); return false; } } } if (document.layers){ document.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEDOWN); document.onmousedown=clickNS4; } else if (document.all&&!document.getElementById){ document.onmousedown=clickIE4; } document.oncontextmenu=new Function("alert(message);return false") </script>
