What does it "mean" to have the Google Workspace transferred to Google?

I'm not sure how to handle this situation because I don't know what features (if any) I'm missing out on. Are there certain things that can only be done when the Google Workspace account is under Squarespace? Or will I be better off keeping Google Workspace separate from my SquareSpace site?

If using Workspace throught Squarespace. You do get a free year under certain Squarespace plans and simple billing.  Also it is easier to use your Squarespace domain with Workspace if purchased through Squarespace., if not already signed up with Workspace. This help article will provide more info:
