tmhanser
Site URL: http://www.thomashanser.com Working within the confines of Squarespace templates and layouts, I'm brainstorming different options for a home page, or maybe just adding another page to land on after you click VIEW. www.thomashanser.com Right now you land on my DESIGN page, which, besides being one of four page options, doesn't make sense. I want the viewer to choose between the four page options. I see other Squarespace users (designers and illustrators) do the same thing - you land on a "design" page. I looked at some other Squarespace home page layouts but I don't see what I want. I'd like to provide a choice of four options near the TOP, so the viewer doesn't have to drill down too deeply to see what they want. I'd like to see other site designs that offer multiple page options near or at the top, if possible. And, I'd like to know what template or layout was used. Thanks! Link to comment
Solution derricksrandomviews Posted September 18, 2022 Solution Share Posted September 18, 2022 Looks like you took your Avenue site and came up with a good landing page option. I use a landing page with my Avenue site as well. I use the Montage template. I can't image trying to build one myself that looks as good. my random views tmhanser 1 Link to comment
tmhanser
Thank you, derricksrandomviews. What I need is another intermediary page, between the home page and the four categories. Four big image blocks, with each block linked to either design, motion, photography or whatnot. I'm not sure what templated page to use or if there even IS one. Thanks again. Link to comment

That is your best bet. I don't think you need to remove the header and footer for that page, like a home/cover page. You can create a blank page and add four click thru-image blocks or a gallery with four images each set for click-thru. The click thru can go to any page on your site or off. sayreambrosio 1 Link to comment
