  1. Is there a way to have the testimonials that are coming in sync to the customer facing store? I see I can add testimonials to the page but they are all generic and you need to manually edit them. https://www.peterotoole.ie/ Thanks!
  2. Hi Ziggy and thanks for the reply! The website is https://www.peterotoole.ie I've managed to get it to an okay (ish) state at the moment but the spacing is still off in some cases. I'd love if I could set the spacing from the text box to the image(s) for e.g to remain the same irrespective of what size screen I am viewing the page. Not sure that's possible? I'd say there are many reasons for the spacing issues but one of the issues appears to be the text box which expands depending on the screen size which makes sense but in some cases it over-expands and creates extra spacing as a result. You can see this in the screenshot below. I'd really appreciate any advice as I could very well not fully understand how to use this feature properly. Thanks!
  3. okay I have no idea what is up in that case. I can't get it to work on desktop no matter what I try. I have cleared my cache, tried Chrome and Safari and also browsing using incognito mode and no luck. Can I ask if you are using a Mac or PC?
  4. Is there a way to create consistent spacing across fluid engine and all the breakpoints. I find that I can get it to look okay for my images and text on desktop and mobile but then when I resize the window the spacing between the various elements goes a bit haywire. I am currently trying to fix these in between area but as soon as I've fixed one, I've broken another so it's a constant battle. Maybe I am just not understanding how to use it properly but I'd love to be able to choose my spacing and that it keeps that across all breakpoints. If anyone had any advice, I'd love to hear it or maybe point me in the direction of a good tutorial if I am missing something. Thanks!
  5. here you go: https://www.peterotoole.ie/shop/cork/p/cork-prints/fatherly-advice thanks very much!!

  7. I too contacted FB support and I have to say it was laughably bad! I wouldn’t mind but I was on with them for at least 2 hours to end up no where. I then contacted SquareSpace support and they also said it was a feature they’re working on and will roll it out when ready. I then read that instagram and Facebook are pulling back from commerce to focus more on video so I’ve kinda parked this. A fix would be amazing but I won’t hold my breath.
  8. thanks for that Tuanphan. I just need to find a location now to store the icon I want to use. But putting that aside for one minute. The actual 'Login' button doesn't work. I have attached a video who shows the issue much better. The button only works in edit mode on the site and even then it only works if you move the cursor over a certain part of the word. The link does appear to work from mobile however. Screen Recording 2023-02-02 at 11.08.50 a.m..mp4
  9. It's turned back on there again now. Thanks so much for looking at it for me! It's only accessible from the Mobile Menu for me anyway, as you can see from the hand cursor below.
  10. Thanks mate! you're great as always! Really appreciate that!
  11. Hi Paul, Thanks or the reply. I just did that there now. I somehow feel the response is going to be to contact Facebook in relation to the issue which is why I didn't do it sooner.
  12. Only thing I could do is remove any special characters etc across my SquareSpace product descriptions. At least it's readable on Instagram that way. Previously if I had any special characters even quote marks or accents, the text would be all scrambled. I still haven't found a fix for the formatting to come through.
  13. apologies, this is the current URL: https://www.peterotoole.ie/shop/cork/p/cork-prints/fatherly-advice Thanks!
  14. Hi Tuanphan, If you had the CSS to change the spacing between these items on both desktop and mobile it would be amazing. Thanks so much as always!
  15. Hi there, Thanks for the reply. On my desktop version of the site, you can't click anywhere there. I've checked in both Safari and Chrome. It is only present on the mobile version of the site as you can see highlighted below. I wanted to make it visible, clickable and move it over beside the Cart icon if possible. Thanks so much. Peter
  16. that's exactly it!! I just reduced the radius down to 5 though. Thanks so so much!! really appreciate that.
  17. amazing thanks! one last thing I swear!! How do I make the 'Sign up' text bold, to match all the other buttons on my site. I can't seem to find a way of changing it anywhere. Thanks again! You're incredible.
  18. thanks as always Creedon! If I wanted to tighten up the spacing between the various parts of that form, would that be easy to do?
  19. Hi there, Could someone please help me get rounded corners on this email address input field to match the sign up button below. This particular form is at the very bottom of the home page. https://www.peterotoole.ie Thanks very much!
  20. Amazing!! thanks so much for that!! You wouldn't happen to know the CSS to around the corners of the thumbnails by any chance? No worries if not. Thanks again for your help!
  21. hi there! thanks for the reply! That's one of the issues as I said in the post, it's there but invisible. you can still click on it if you go to the mobile version and click just past 'contact' in the nav menu. but otherwise it doesn't show up on either desktop or mobile.
