  1. Site URL: https://www.prestigeautosearch.com/ So overall I like how my website looks on the desktop version, however I dislike the mobile version. Anyone have any tips or tricks on how to get the best of both worlds? I like the minimalist-ish style of my desktop version. When it gets transitioned to mobile however, my test boxes look very long and unpleasant. Most of my customers have been viewing my website on a mobile device and I want to optimize that platform so I can take better advantage of my traffic.
  2. Site URL: https://coconut-hypersphere-nmr5.squarespace.com/config/ Please could someone assist with getting rid of this blank space on mobile. I've managed to get rid of the blank space on desktop but not mobile. Please see attached image. PASSWORD to view : johnay
  3. Site URL: https://www.kbrossphoto.com On the home page, what's causing the white space between the footer and the slideshow gallery above it? The Kids & Family and Newborns pages have the same settings for the gallery and footer, but they don't have this white space. It appears there's just a space between the two sections on the home page. When click on the space, nothing appears to be there. Also, is there a way to make a section have less height? I'd like less space below the text in the footer. Is there a default padding about the text block that I can reduce with CSS? Thanks, Russell
  4. Site URL: https://www.cibusconsulting.com How can I rearrange block order and add spacing to the mobile version without affecting the desktop view? Thanks!
  5. I reached out to Squarespace and they informed me that there isn't a way to remove spacing between 2 text blocks on mobile, and that the text boxes automatically stack vertically. They said that I might be able to add some custom code to remove the space. I haven't been able to find anything about this. Is there anyone that knows how to do this? I've added quite a bit of custom css into my site, but this is one thing I can't quite figure out. On desktop, the 2 blocks are side by side. On mobile, again, they are stacked, but an awkward space appears. screenshots attached. (note the content doesn't match as I've updated since taking screenshots). Thank you in advance for any help!
  6. Site URL: https://www.nscadv.com Hi, I'm having an issue with the home/title page of this website when viewed on the mobile view. I would like the page to be fixed and not have a scrolling bar, but it has and it gives the page movement, even though there is only a title and 3 content links on the page. Would anyone know how to make the page still and fixed? Not sure if this is a coding issue or a simple fix with a button. Thank you!
  7. Hi I'm trying to change the divide between two different text styles. The coloured headings I entered through coding in order to use a heading style I created, the subtext and grey is just the normal style.So I created my heading styles and then added a code line in order to make the margin underneath this font smaller. It has worked for my three previous headings, but all of a sudden stopped working. You can see in the images it has worked for the yellow title which corresponds to h6, but for this green style (h7) and all the next ones the code doesn't work. I'm including screen captures of the text itself and of the codes used. Please help me I don't understand why it doesn't work. So are there are better ways of proceeding for what I'm doing, I'm new to all of this and just picked up a couple of tutorials online hence my lack of knowledge on how to do this the best way possible.
  8. Site URL: http://fashioncurator.com I am trying to figure out the lock screen on 7.1. It is causing issues to adjust the font style and spacing. I have the below set for code injection currently but this isn't completely correct. Ideally my logo would be a bit larger and set to on top of the "Summer 2020" text. Any way to customize the "Summer 2020" font? New to coding and Squarespace - Please help! <style> .sqs-slice-image img { max-height: 600px !important; } </style>

  10. Site URL: https://www.taskgloves.com/ Hi, Is there a way to remove the padding under the gallery slideshows? I've reduced the height to 0, and it was able to remove the padding on the top of the gallery, but not the bottom. I'm using the Brine template.
  11. Site URL: https://minnow-bison-eb6k.squarespace.com/ Is there a way that you can adjust the caption spacing and the block height of gallery blocks on 7.1? The padding is just really large on 7.1 between blocks and under images. Ideally, I'd like to just have a site-wide padding like on 7.0 but that seems to not be how 7.1 works. It's particularly noticeable on mobile (see attached image). Any help would be great. The password for the site is: password Here is the code I've already injected: /* Nav item color */ .header-nav-item a { color: Black !important; } /* Nav item hover color */ .header-nav-item a:hover { color: #ef5232 !important; } /* Nav item active color */ .header-nav-item--active a { color: #ef5232 !important; } /* Nav item hover color - underline */ .header-nav-item--active a { color: #ef5232; } .header-nav-item--active a { background-image: #ef5232; } @media (max-width: 800px) { .gallery-masonry .gallery-masonry-item img { height: 100%!important; width: 100%!important; } .gallery-masonry .gallery-masonry-wrapper { columns: 1; column-gap: 0; padding: 0 10px; height: auto!important; display: block!important; } .gallery-masonry-item-wrapper { height: auto!important; } .gallery-masonry-item { position: relative!important; padding: 10px!important; transform: none!important; width: 93%!important; display: block; } } @media (max-width: 800px) { .item-pagination-title, .item-pagination-icon { font-size: 15px !important; line-height: 19px !important; } } .header-menu-nav-item a { font-size: 25px; } @media screen and (max-width:800px) { .gallery-grid-wrapper { grid-template-columns: repeat(1,1fr) !important; grid-row-gap: 5vw !important; } }

  13. Site URL: https://flugelhorn-orb-dtjx.squarespace.com/ Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me please. Is there any custom CSS code that would make the Instagram social block full width in the footer? I want it to touch the sides and the top of the footer boundary, if that makes sense? I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean, the top one is how it currently looks, and the bottom one I have mocked up to show how I want it to look. Thank you in advance.
  14. Site URL: https://www.careme2.de/fa/home Dear Community, I have a dual language setup and added the following code to each of second language pages via PAGE HEADER CODE INJECTION: <div dir="rtl"</div> But now the spacing between the Facebook and the Instagram Icon in the header is too wide (see screenshot). 15. Site URL: https://www.storybriar.com I use images as buttons on my homepage and spacers to place them in a way I find appealing. Under my name there are three buttons in a row, with one button below that centred to the screen. On mobile however, the button on the bottom is all the way on the left of the page - the spacers seem not to show. Any way to get it to centre screen in mobile?
  16. Site URL: https://therare.la password: rarity Hello, i'm having some trouble styling the mobile navigation menu so that a) it looks the same on all devices b) each menu item is evenly spaced (both main and subnavigation on mobile) As you can see, when i shift to the subnavigation, the top two boxes change in dimension and don't look uniform with the others. Additionally, the menu hides some items depending on what device it's viewed on. Even in the squarespace emulator, it looks different when one enters full screen preview mode. Thank you for the assistance!
  17. Site URL: https://www.mattretzlaff.com Is there a way to reduce the amount of space between the images and buttons on the home page? They are way too far apart. Thanks.
  18. Site URL: https://www.rubysplace.org/ Currently struggling with identifying the issue that is causing the extra spacing on the left and right of two of my content blocks. When I'm in edit mode, there is no spacing that appears, so I'm not sure why it appears when the site is live.. If anyone could help me with this, that would be great!
  19. Site URL: https://www.moonroq.club/words Hi there, I have an issue with the amount of space between my last blog post and the footer, on this page: https://www.moonroq.club/words As you can see in the image attached, the space is huge! I like the footer spacing on all other pages. So perhaps the issue is with the spacing at the bottom of the blog posts, as opposed to being an issue with the top of the footer. I have played around with the built in spacing settings in the blog's style settings and got the spacing right between blog posts, but there doesn't appear to be anyway to reduce the space at the bottom without CSS. any help greatly appreciated! Adam

On most of my pages I have the carousel like you can see on: https://pigeon-orange-s7hm.squarespace.com/ (Pwd: Suzi) I would like for all of these carousels found on most of my project pages to have some spacing i.e the blue on the page to be a divider between the images. 23. Site URL: https://www.aronjones.co.uk/writing/2020/6/22/compact-ui-for-call-of-duty-warzone Hi there I'm using the York template and have recently added a blog post. Unfortunately the width is too wide in the actual post and I would like to reduce it without affecting the site padding elsewhere. So it just affects the blog posts. Please be aware I'm using existing CSS to handle template issues that York has such as; .overflow-wrapper { overflow-y: hidden; } This is to stop double-scrolling on mobile. And I use this; #site { padding-bottom: 20px !important; } This is just to add some padding to the bottom of the site. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Aron.
  24. Hello folks: I want to create a full-screen block that has a large inset image (headline or image block) and that allows both a caption and accommodates text box overlays. As far as I can tell, Squarespace does not support a block like this, and it's driving me absolutely nuts. Up till now, I've had to choose between using (1) a headline block that accommodates text block overlays but does not support captions and (2) an image block that does not accommodate text block overlays but supports captions. I've defaulted to option 1, but it looks terrible. There is way too much space between the photo and the caption (see attached photos with black lines highlighting the issue). Can anyone help me sort this out? I don't want to adjust spacing on any other part of the website. I feel like it should not be this difficult. THANK YOU!
