  2. Hi, how do I remove unnecessary spacing in a section? I'd like to remove some of the spacing between the text ("reserve your spot") & email form field. Also, is there a way to fix the form field so it's the same height as the button? Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. Site URL: https://www.bloomhomes.com.au Hello, I am having problems with the spacing of my mobile site. I have added a gallery slideshow to my homepage and in order to add a 'heading' above and a 'button' below - i need add 'new sections' both above and below the gallery slideshow. This spacing problem also occurs on the 'Build Process' page, I would like to decrease the space between to the headings, the content and the scroll arrows please - see image attached. The gap between heading and button is way too large on the mobile site and there doesn't seem to be anyway to fix this in the Site Styles - Design area? Another problem with the mobile site - front page banner looks fine on the desktop view of the mobile...but when viewing on my actual mobile device, the text does not fit? Please see images attached for examples, thank you! Version 7.1 www.bloomhomes.com.au - see screenshots attached

  6. Site URL: https://lukespindler.com/portfolios Hi. I'm trying to reduce the space between two projects on my portfolio page when using mobile view. I need these projects to sit side by side. I have already reduced the space on the grid to 5px and I'm happy with the desktop view. When I switch to phone view the two projects spread out again. I should mention I have already added some code so that the two projects stay side by side and don't stack when in mobile view. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Site URL: https://www.thebellwetherhotel.com/ Hi there, I have a logo in the center of my footer. On mobile, it was way too large so I used this custom css to make it smaller: /* Resize footer images */ @media screen and (max-width: 640px) { footer .sqs-image .sqs-image-content img, footer .image-block { transform: scale(0.5)} It now has way too much vertical space. Is there code I can add to decrease the top and bottom spacing of the logo? Any help is much appreciated! Mary
  8. I have created a client side with the content width set to M. I've just added in a section using the list auto template it looks as though and the content is displaying with a content width of L, but there is no option to change it. The only options are as per attached images, the content width part changes the content spacing within the card only, not the actual section. Any help appreciated!
  9. Site URL: https://www.harmony-bodyworkenergy.com/ This is a website I created a year ago with 7.0 with a lot of custom editing. Recently I was looking at the live site and there appears to be extra space below images - to be clear, this was not the case when I launched the site. This issue appears to be happening with most of the images on all pages. I am not quite sure what is causing this and I am hopeful someone can help out! I have been in 7.1 land lately, so its been a while since I peeked at the backend of a 7.0 site.
  10. Site URL: https://bigkidbakesale.squarespace.com/ Hello, Site password: bigkidbakesale I am in the middle of working on this site and would love any feedback, constructive or otherwise. I want to make sure it's clear what the mission and goal of this site is and want to make sure I'm achieving that. Things I would love suggestions on: -The baker profile page - I would love to add icons under each of the bakers with the items they offer (cakes, cookies, etc). but this isn't an option with List items. Any suggestions on how I could incorporate this? -I also want to include a search function in the baker profile page that would allow people to search by item, location, etc. Is this possible? Thank you so much! Blayne
  11. Is there a way to tweak the space between columns. I have three side-by-side text blocks and the text looks very cramped. I tried using spacers between them but that creates way too much space. I find I can get the right amount of space if I indent the text in columns 2 and 3, but then in mobile you have that same indent, which looks a bit odd. I could also indent column 1, so they'd all be consistent on mobile, but then you've got too much of a margin on the left on desktop, and anyway, I don't really want an indent on any of them on mobile. Any suggestions?
  12. Site URL: https://flamingo-goby-tkw6.squarespace.com/ Password: home Is there anyway I can expand the are where the three items - Available Homes - Application - Resource Hub, on this nav is to allow them to all appear on the same line? Yes, I could lower the font size but I would rather not and there is plenty of white space for the items to fit in. Screenshot attached below. Thank you in advance for any assistance! Patterson
  13. Site URL: https://www.lachlanmcnabb.com/ Hi I am trying to control the spacing between sections and blocks. If you look at this homepage - there is a huge gap underneath "CHECK OUT THESE ACTION SHOTS BELOW" block and the gallery section underneath. I have reduced it as much as I can with the block controls. I would love any suggestions on how to fix this. The site is unfinished but this is driving me crazy Squarespace used to be so easy to use and always looked good because of the consistent spacing. This latest version is INFURIATING to use with everything "smartly" popping in and out - can I disable all that movement? Many thanks in advance WEBSITE: https://www.lachlanmcnabb.com/ PASSWORD: MTB123
  14. Site URL: https://www.lylasapir.com/ Hi, Is there a way to control spacing between blocks and sections without minimizing each section? There is a large empty white space between the block / section and I could not find a way to remove this without changing the section above or below, any ideas? Thanks, Lyla

  16. Site URL: https://amethyst-banjo-2g6e.squarespace.com/listen Hello, I would like to decrease the spacing between these three buttons to be right next to each other. Would also like to tighten the light height between "Begin Your Journey" and "Where are you right now?" without effecting the rest of the site. Any ideas?r
  17. Site URL: https://www.allshereads.com.au/home-1 Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out how to reduce the width of the embed / code layouts. I've embedded a widget from Goodreads, but I want it to display either side by side the summary layout, or another layout, but it won't allow me to do so because of the width of the layout across the page. Thanks so much, Shan.
  18. I have a three column layout, with each column having a title, image, body copy and button. I used a full width spacer to ensure my buttons are all vertically aligned and it looks as intended (on desktop). On mobile though the buttons aren't associated with the relevant image and text (since the spacer is breaking the column layout). If I remove the spacer the buttons are now associated correctly on the mobile view, but on desktop aren't vertically aligned. I've tried searching for a solution to this, but haven't found anything that works. Is this possible, or do I have to look at some custom CSS? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
  19. Site URL: https://darkballaddesigns.com/shop-all/art Hello, After getting help with code to make my product pictures into to their original aspect ratio and sizes i have found that the titles and prices etc for the products are far too low and far away from the pictures. I have attached pictures for desktop and mobile so you can see what I mean. Is there a way to keep the original aspect ratio fix AND have the text closer underneath the product pictures? This is affecting both desktop and mobile. Thanks
  20. Site URL: https://isabelladoran.com/add-flavour Hi all, I am needing some assistance with some custom CSS. I have been trying to figure out how to reduce the massive gaps of space in between my content on my website when it is on mobile, however I am a bit stuck (have included images to show exactly what I mean on one page as an example). I have tried to fix the padding and spacing but it doesn't seem to be working. This issue is on all the pages connected to my work page. How am I able to fix this?
  21. Site URL: https://www.freshcoastjazz.com/ Hello. I had to reduce the link spacing of my main header links so I could set my mobile breakpoint to 1000px to mitigate the navigation from wrapping. Now the links look like they're too scrunched together with all this empty space between the links and logo when the browser is anything wider than 1200px. Is there any way to allow the link spacing to expand evenly as the browser width gets wider?
  22. Site URL: https://primrose-dahlia-2c57.squarespace.com/services-2 I have 2 blocks on this part of my website, and there's way too much blank space between them. I've tried changing the height on both of them but it's still too much for my liking. Is there anything I can do to reduce the padding between the blocks (under the part about FAQ and above the pictures) but keep everything else the same?
  23. Site URL: http://tylerelise.com Hi there, I'm currently using this code in the custom CSS for my website to get the gallery images to have 8px of space between them: #container-content { padding-left: 8px!important; padding-right: 8px!important; } #grid .item { margin-left:-8px; a { border: 16px solid #fff; } /* Overlay size on hover */ .wrapper { margin: 16px; } } The issue I'm noticing is that the images now sit towards the bottom right corner and are off-center in the box. I've attached an image of what this looks like in edit view, you can see the content is sitting towards the bottom right of the container. It seems like something is effecting the right margin within the code (I've also attached a screenshot from the inspect view to show this). I'm wondering if maybe because it's a white border and not a margin the borders to the right of each image are now covering 8px of its neighboring image? Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
  24. Site URL: http://www.labelle-artistry.com Hi! I'm in desperate need of help on the tablet version of my website labelle-artistry.com. The headlines are coming up way too large, the header logo is too small and the alignment is all off (see pictures below). Can someone please help me? Thank you! Lindsay
  25. My website: https://thrustinteractive.squarespace.com This sire looks good and has the appropriate white space on the sides of content on desktop, however when I look at the site in a mobile view elements are bunched together and the spacer blocks are lost. I am using the Brine template, is there any way to add code or have the spacer blocks that keep my site clean show up on mobile. It is keeping my website from being responsive and looking as good on mobile as it does on desktop. Thank you for your help!
