  1. Site URL: http://www.blossomcreativeagency.com Hi! I had to add the below code to custom CSS to get the images (brought in from Canva) to show up properly on mobile, and while it works great, there's now a giant gray space beneath the images that I can't figure out how to get rid of. Thanks for your help! @media screen and (max-width:640px) { .homepage .section-background img { width: 100% !important; height: auto !important; } }
  2. I noticed there is quite a bit of padding in between sections that creates a ton of white space and emptiness. How can I reduce the padding in between all sections to make for a seamless website? This is for my web portfolio showcasing designs and project details. I've been experiencing difficulty fitting slideshows, simple images, and plain text boxes without too much padding in between sections. Thank you!
  3. Hello! Is there a way to remove the minimum width of a spacer block? I've found a lot of guides to remove the minimum height of a spacer, but not the with. Thanks in advance
  4. Site URL: https://perklending.com I am looking to fix the first section on my site's homepage - in regards to the mobile and tablet versions. There's an H1 title next to 3 image blocks. It looks great on desktop, but not so much on tablet. The h1 text box font size is just way too large when the screen width is smaller. Also, because the font is so large, the words wrap. When the screen width shrinks, I'd like the H1 text box font to shrink accordingly, that way there's never a screen width where the H1 text is broken up (see attached photo for example -tabletprob1). Having such a large font not only causes the words to wrap but leaves a significant amount of white space underneath the photos (because the h1 text box is so large). I have coded that when the screen width gets to a certain point, to make the 3 image blocks disappear entirely. That code is below. The tricky part is that there is a point where the below code kicks in, and the image blocks no longer display, BUT the H1 text box does not adjust to take up the full screen. It looks terrible (see attached tabletproblem2). Eventually, the H1 text box does adjust to take up the entire width of the screen and looks great. To recap, the screen width is causing a 2-part problem I'd love some help with fixing. Part 1 is that the H1 text box font size is just way too big on smaller screens. Part 2 is that once the code below prompts the photos to disappear, the H1 text box is not currently adjusting to take up the full screen. Thank you for all assistance! 5. Site URL: http://www.makeupbyalessandra.com Hi, On the main home page, the mobile view (on my desktop) looks different to the mobile view on my actual mobile device. On the mobile device it is extremely spaced out. The first rotating image has a large gap from the header, and then a large gap underneath the image as well. I just want this changed on Mobile view. Thank you Alessandra
  6. Site URL: https://www.graceventurawrites.com Does anyone have any suggestions on how to add padding to the top and bottom of ALL sections on a website on MOBILE ONLY? For some reason on the desktop versions the spacing is great. But on mobile the spacing disappears and I don't like how tight all the sections are to one another. Advice will be appreciated!
  7. Hey! How do I change the space between paragraphs? I know you can change the line spacing, but I want the gap between paragraphs to be different from gap between lines. Thanks!
  8. Site URL: https://www.thecardinalconcepts.com/ I would like to reduce the spacing in the blue Page Section with white text on the home page. I would like to reduce the margins on the top and the bottom to make the height less. I would like reduce the leading between the sentences as well. Is there some custom CSS I could add to override the current settings? Thank you!
  9. My Design section doesn't have color/font etc. under it as an option and I was wondering how I can access these features otherwise? I need to access color so I can change the colour of the text in my header. Sorry if this is a silly question, I haven't been able to find answers elsewhere - any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance!
  10. Site URL: https://lexiramos.com/comic Hello, I am trying to decrease the spacing between the page navigation and where the image starts.

  12. Site URL: https://www.thevisualnarrative.co/blog Hi Squarespace Community- I've been trying to figure out how to center my Side-by-Side Blog Layout for the past couple hours and can't figure it out! I would love to find a solution that's built into the Squarespace interface already as I'm not well-versed in coding. Thanks!
  13. Hi I'm trying to change the divide between two different text styles. The coloured headings I entered through coding in order to use a heading style I created, the subtext and grey is just the normal style. So I created my heading styles and then added a code line in order to make the margin underneath this font smaller. It has worked for my three previous headings, but all of a sudden stopped working. You can see in the images it has worked for the yellow title which corresponds to h6, but for this green style (h7) and all the next ones the code doesn't work. I'm including screen captures of the text itself and of the codes used. Please help me I don't understand why it doesn't work. So are there are better ways of proceeding for what I'm doing, I'm new to all of this and just picked up a couple of tutorials online hence my lack of knowledge on how to do this the best way possible.
  14. Site URL: https://studio-kruh-test.squarespace.com Hi, I would like to decrease vertical spacing between inlined images. Is there a way? Site url: https://studio-kruh-test.squarespace.com Pass: studiokruh
  15. Site URL: https://disc-strawberry-4nlb.squarespace.com Hi all, I have made a custom cover page/landing page by inserting code block directly to the page to remove header/footer. ( <style> .header, #footer-sections { display: none !important } </style> ) HOWEVER, now when I view the cover page, the background image, text, and logo do not FIT/RESIZE TO SCREEN. Instead, I have to scroll down to view the whole page (see screenshot below). How do I fix this? LINK: https://disc-strawberry-4nlb.squarespace.com PASSWORD: gallery THANK YOU!!
  16. I am basically building a landing page and had to remove both header and navigation bar as well as footer. But after removing it (with a custom CSS code for a single page) I was then left with blank space on top and bottom. I'd like to remove this space. Please help ๐Ÿ˜‡
  17. Site URL: https://www.nhjstyle.com/home-2 Hi, I'm trying to reduce the padding between each page on this Index page . I've managed to do it for the first block. Do I need to do it for each block manually or can I apply it to all? The theme is Haydn if it helps Thanks! Laura
  18. Site URL: https://dblanch.es/joyeria/p/kiwis Hi there, Iยดm trying to reduce the space between list of products and above block, so I can have more content above the fold on web, (mobile is OK), see attached images, this happening in these 2 URLs. - Products list: https://dblanch.es/joyeria (password: Martina2013) - Product Page: https://dblanch.es/joyeria/p/kiwis (password: Martina2013) Thanks for your help! 19. Site URL: https://labellenewsite.squarespace.com/ Hello! I am looking for help on the homepage of my site. First thing being the text alignment of "La Belle is an award winning...." I need this to be centered. Secondly, I've hidden a section on mobile, but I'm still seeing too much padding left in the container's absence. Is it possible to reduce this extra space to mimic the spacing between the other containers on the homepage? Site is https://labellenewsite.squarespace.com/ Password is labelle14 Thank you! Lindsay
  20. I want to add a non-breaking space between two words in a text block so the words always stay on the same line. (For instance, a text block that only contains the first and last name of a vendor that I always want to stay on one line.) Is there a way to add a non-breaking space (&nbsp;) HTML Entity within a text block? https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_entities.asp
  21. Site URL: https://davidcass.art/latest Hello. On this page (davidcass.art/latest) I've deliberately used a staggered design. On laptop, desktop & tablet, I'm happy with this. On mobile, however, the placing of the spacers makes uneven gaps between the artworks. Is there a way to ignore spacer blocks on mobile on this single page? I can't do this site-wide as I rely on spacers elsewhere in my site. Thanks so much. David
  22. I want to have my header links all on the same line, not on two as this screenshot shows. There is a lot of space to the left and right of the links that is not being used.
  23. Site URL: https://www.cityraillink.co.nz/ Good afternoon all I was wondering if anyone could shed light on how to remove the extra spacing below some (not all) Content Link blocks. I have created two columns and seven rows of these, and two have got additional spacing which means the alignment of the rows is out. I have attached two screen-capture. One illustrates the problem as described, and the other shows the result of inspecting the element in Chrome. There is definitely spacing being created in this block (and one other, further down) however I can't seem to find any way of removing this. Any suggestions appreciated.
  24. Site URL: https://www.tleighton.com/links Hi, I would like to reduce the padding of the images on my 'links' page to 10px. I tried adjusting the code for the page, but it left me with uneven vertical spacing when viewed on mobile. Thanks for your help!
  25. Site URL: https://watermelon-tarantula-ap3e.squarespace.com/portfolio-1/project-one-a9d72-lnmfb-bfn5b-2prgr-kytrd-3zgpj Pass: Stormy Please see the attached image. The line spacing between my header font and my paragraph font is WAY too large. There seems to be no way to tighten it up, because if I try a soft-return (shift+return) it forces the fonts to all be the same selection, i.e. all header or all paragraph. I have dozens of these kinds of text treatments, in my site, so I'd like a way to solve this efficiently. Some CSS? Thanks!
