  1. Dear Community, I have a dual language setup and added the following code to each of second language pages via PAGE HEADER CODE INJECTION: <div dir="rtl"</div> But now the spacing between the Facebook and the Instagram Icon in the header is too wide (see screenshot). I tried to fix it via Custom CSS but was not successful so far. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! Sho2000
  2. I'd like the pagination on sub-pages to be centered between the line demarking the footer and the line I created demarking the end of the page text. Would this be adding padding to the bottom of the pagination to orient it higher in it's content box? You can see from this picture that the pagination does not appear centered between the lines (though it is centered between the sections). How would one go about making this edit? This is the website: https://gar-conch-fhlx.squarespace.com/password: larslangberg
  3. Site URL: https://www.thehairranch.com/ So odd. On the desktop site, all 3 quotes appear. On the mobile site, only 2 quotes appear (the second column from Kristen and third column from Eileen). The quote from Tammy (the first one or left side) is missing. Cannot figure this out. Been looking for 2 days now. I must have hid it somehow? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

  5. Site URL: https://ferret-bird-3rl2.squarespace.com Hello forum friends ~ Trying to adjust the size of the opaque accent box on the mobile site so that the text is a bit tighter to the edges, as it is in the desktop pic. Used this for desktop: /* DESKTOP */ #block-daf805861a202b50ee14 .code-block { padding-top: 2.5vh !important; padding-bottom: 2.5vh !important; } .code-block .sqs-block-content { padding-top: 2.5vh !important; padding-bottom: 2.5vh !important; } And this for mobile: /* MOBILE */ @media screen and (max-width: 640px){#block-daf805861a202b50ee14 .code-block .sqs-block-content { padding-left: 2.0vw !important; padding-right: 2.0vw !important; }} Tried various iterations and combos as well. No go. SITE: https://ferret-bird-3rl2.squarespace.com ACCESS: blahblahblah Thank you for any tips!
  6. Site URL: https://www.hunterbaoengstrum.la Hello, I've recently started building my site and have been looking at other sites for inspiration. I recently saw a site that also uses Wells manage to include spacing in between the pages in the sidebar (link here: https://www.nickmakanna.com/). I've been trying to figure out how to add this spacing for my own site's sidebar with no success. Is there some button that I'm missing or is CSS required? Thanks.
  7. Site URL: https://www.daphnes.co.nz/ Hi there, Having trouble with the formatting of text links on the contact page, but on mobile only. When these links begin on a new line on mobile they have an extra space before the link - making it look like they are indented. See attached example. Also, this error doesn't appear when I'm on my browser and go 'Inspect' and view it at different mobile sizes - it only appears on an actual phone browser.. I am using custom css on the site and I have checked the relevant parts to see if they affect it but no luck so far. If anyone could take a quick look I would be so grateful! Please let me know if you need any more details. Thanks!
  8. Site URL: https://www.allgardening.co.uk/ Remove padding around top nav and image below in SS 7.0. I want to be able to move the hero image up, currently there is a huge white space, can't find a way to remove via site styles. Its Alex template, on Version 7. Would someone have the required code to add to the CSS? Thanks I'd also like to be able to move the nav elements so they are all on one line, responsively. Would someone have the code for that too? Thanks Loads. Phil
  9. Site URL: https://ferret-bird-3rl2.squarespace.com I have to complete this one-page site by Friday. (I'm a first timer, and client getting impatient.) 1. I am able to delete the white space around the map on the desktop, but it is still showing on mobile. Tried to transfer the same coding with the media query, but can't seem to make it work. (see photo) 2. All of the sudden the site is too wide on both desktop and mobile. There's a horizontal scroll! Absolutely lost on this one. (see photo) And my hands are tied by client creatively ("plain, boring, no color pop..."), so if you have any design tips, I'll take 'em. Thanks for any and all help! site: https://ferret-bird-3rl2.squarespace.com pw: blahblahblah
  10. Site URL: https://tarpon-hen-pfh9.squarespace.com/ Hi there! I am new to SQS and this forum, so apologies if I have not posted this question correctly. Does anyone know of a way (in custom css) to remove the site spacing on the sides of all Summary Blocks in 7.1? I am able to accomplish this by adjusting the Design>Site Styles>Site Spacing to 0 vw, but I only wish to have 0vw on *all Summary Blocks *only. Is there away to affect the site spacing of just the Summary blocks (all of them)? Thank so much in advance for any help,
  11. Site URL: https://ferret-bird-3rl2.squarespace.com I have a frame around a text block that I'm trying to reduce on the mobile site. I copied the same code for the desktop, and simply adjusted the numbers. No luck. /* FRAME: "CLIENT GALLERY" MOBILE */ @media screen and (max-width: 640px){#block-2c182c5c1f7d49f6f48b { padding-top: -2.0vh !important; padding-bottom: -2.0vh !important; padding-left: -3.0vw !important; padding-right: -3.0vw !important; }} /* FRAME: "CLIENT GALLERY" DESKTOP */ #block-2c182c5c1f7d49f6f48b { border: 0.15em solid #fff; padding-top: 4.7vh !important; padding-bottom: 4.7vh !important; padding-left: 1.8vw !important; padding-right: 1.8vw !important; } What am I missing? I have to frames that need adjusting, so hopefully fixing one will help me fix the other. Thank you forum members! site: https://ferret-bird-3rl2.squarespace.com pw: blahblahblah
  12. Hi, I'm using the Lange template, which does not have built in social icons, which is why I inserted my own using links. Somehow, the spacing between them is off and there is no option in the settings to change this. I hope someone has an idea on how to fix this Thanks
  13. Site URL: https://hardsuitlabs.squarespace.com/careers-ges-testing I'm on a sandbox page for my companies homepage, trying to enable a function that links a script to our own page. The script I added is a VERY basic HTML "hey, look over here" addition: <div id="grnhse_app"></div> <script src="https://boards.greenhouse.io/embed/job_board/js?for=hardsuitlabs"></script> Working with the support team at greenhouse, I was told that there is nothing in their script that could cause this. I checked with them to make extra certain this would be an issue on my page. There is no added padding in the edited page itself, there everything shows as tightly and neat as I would want it to. The above code should contain nothing that explains the odd behaviour the page has: When looking at the edit area, the spacing between the job forms and the rest of the page isn't only extremely large - it grows as you scroll up and down. I seem unable to track down this huge blank space and the way that the blank space just grows as you scroll through the page is a mystery to me. We have no CSS code added to the site at any place that touches the margins. I have checked the padding options in Spacing and Site Margin following this link. Sadly, all I could do with that page was confirm that nobody had made changes to the site's basic configuration. At this point, I feel a bit at a loss. The bahviour of growing blankspace was observed by me on the latest versions of Edge, Firefox, and Chrome. Very grateful for any pointers on why this happens or even indeed on how I can force it to stop.
  14. Site URL: https://www.no-frames.com/photo-test/category/Lifestyle Hi, In case my client has short pages, without much content, how to keep the footer consistently at the bottom of the viewport and the same height across desktop to tablet? Right now, the footer is aligned top to the bottom of the page content, and the bottom of the footer extends it's background color to the bottom of the browser window. 19. Site URL: https://bigkidbakesale.squarespace.com/ Hello, Site password: bigkidbakesale I am in the middle of working on this site and would love any feedback, constructive or otherwise. I want to make sure it's clear what the mission and goal of this site is and want to make sure I'm achieving that. Things I would love suggestions on: -The baker profile page - I would love to add icons under each of the bakers with the items they offer (cakes, cookies, etc). but this isn't an option with List items. Any suggestions on how I could incorporate this? -I also want to include a search function in the baker profile page that would allow people to search by item, location, etc. Is this possible? Thank you so much! Blayne
  20. Is it possible to set the paragraph spacing in 7.1? I started a blog in 7.1 and I'd like a space between each paragraph and I just can't figure out how to do it. Thanks!
  21. Hello Forum Friends~ Trying to reduce the space between the Service (H4) and the accompanying Cost (P2) right below it, and increase the space between the Cost (P2) and the next Service (H4). Right now, "Full-Head Highlights" and its "180 + up" cost looks okay - and the margin-bottom: 20px code works. However, I'd like to increase the space between the "180 + up" and the next Service, the "Brazilian Blowout." And repeat this on down the menu with a Custom CSS fix. The margin-top: 40px isn't working though. Here is what I am using now: /* RDC SPACE BETWEEN SVC & COST */ div#block-bf60e4543bdf25b3e8a6 h4 {margin-bottom: 20px;} div#block-bf60e4543bdf25b3e8a6 p2 {margin-top: 40px;} Any suggestions? If it's simple, I'll be embarrassed, but I'll be happy... 😄
  22. Site URL: https://www.sumofeight.com/ So I am trying to add a space between the 'all styles' drop down link and 'shop clothing system' heading. Every time i use code it seems to add spacing between the drop down menu headings as well, which i don't want. Can anyone help me? I want to add about double what is there now.
  23. Site URL: https://silver-guava-8nph.squarespace.com/ Hi! I'm new to SquareSpace and CSS, but have been learning a lot by searching in this Forum. My current dilemma is that I'd like to have less space between the social icons in the header than there is between the menu items in the header. I found the following code, but it's only partially gotten me where I need to be: it does decrease the space between icons without decreasing the space between menu headings, but it also gets rid of the space between the last menu heading (Programs) and the first social icon (Facebook). I'd like to have the ''normal'' (i.e. wider) spacing between those two. What am I missing? And thanks! .header-actions-action--social .icon { margin: 5px 5px !important;} Also, FYI, our site URL will probably change sometime this week - we're in the process of transferring our domain name (sustainabilitymatters.earth) over to it. When that gets closer to happening, I will probably just get rid of the custom CSS code unless I have a fix already, since it looks worse now than with everything evenly spaced!
  24. Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing well. Can anyone please help me figure out the code to remove the white space between the top and middle picture? https://www.ptphotography.com/shop Thank you in advance, K xx
