Different header: you mean different navigation items on each header, or different header layout (if different layout, can you describe desired layout for all headers?)

That will work, add a new section to your site, add a summary block and put your blog in the unlinked section of your site if you want it off the nav bar. 

Its not that bad to set up, I used a second blog page, the posts have summary blocks that sort the first blog where all my stories are posted. The archive block is connected to the second blog page.  It takes a bit of time to set up the categories, for all posts, in both blogs but once done it is easy to add to. 

Thanks Derrick.  Zapier however is another cost; per month, if we have over 100 tasks/mo, as far as I understand it. Clearly would prefer to not have to pay yet another vendor.  As you probably can imagine small businesses don't have deep pockets for a lot of monthly fees.
 

I believe blog summary blocks are a bit more flexible, easier to change with code. I have changed my blog posts listing quite radically using blog summary blocks but I don't have the title above the image on hover. I do have an image hover effect however.

On point 2 I'd like to add that throwing long listings of your code into a post doesn't help me very much. See point one! Seeing the site in action with your description of the problem or what you want to do is much more helpful. If us helpers need a code listing we will ask for it in a post.
Also reposting code from earlier in a thread with your changes or somewhere else generally doesn't help. If the code is in your site or another site, let us see it in those places.

I would have loved to have received  this book when I was graduated from high school.  You have a very nice site. 

For the new site builders and anyone else actually, just a bit of advice I gave to a member here. 
I think that this forum has many of the answers to any problems you may have, in additon to Squarespace Technical Support. However anyone who needs help needs to do a few things to help the helplers so to speak. 
1. Post your site url including a password if needed. 
2. Let us know if you need code and or if you have any on your site now. 
3. Be very specific about the problem, in other words what is it not doing you want it to do or what is it doing you don't want it to do. 
4. Realize that sometimes a problem is caused  by  not using the configuration platform properly or to its full potential. 
5. Be patient with us folks here, sometimes we have to go to the lab to figure things out. 
6. And most of all remember that in the tech world nothing is perfect but can still be pretty good.

Yep, I figured out how to do that.  It will be my fallback.  I agree that the arrows aren't really needed.  It was mainly just a way to help me understand the Squarespace CSS more.  Thanks to everyone!

Is your clients site an older one? If so it may be on the older previous personal plan that has a limit of 20 pages. This inlcudes pages in an index as well. 

I have a blog with multiple categories, each with a link and yes you would need a link for everything else if those posts with cats are not part ot the "everything." take a look at my blog/story page. There is a category drop down menu, a long page of posts which are under one of those cats and some special ones on the Nav bar as well. Browse my site, and if your interest is peaked,  I can give you suggestions on how to do what you want to do.

Add a button block with a link or if a booking widget is provided then you can embed with a code block to your link to your booking.com account and expedia. Here is a guide on how to do this:

If you're experiencing an issue with the quality of your images then you've done the right thing by reporting it to Customer Care. Let us know what they say.
When I viewed the images on a 5K display they looked great, both from within the lightbox and when viewed directly using the Content Delivery Network (CDN) URL.
Of course my opinion may not help because images are served from the data center closest to you, so if there is a fault with your nearest datacentre, it may not affect me in a another part of the world. Also, I haven't had the privilege of seeing the original image files so it's difficult for me to provide a comparison.
It is worth noting that Squarespace does compress images so you will be viewing a resized (maximum of 2500 pixels wide) and re-encoded version of your original images and not an exact copy.

I'm relatively new to Squarespace and didn't know that was an option. THANK YOU for the tip! I have only made "basic" pages before (blank, blog, events, etc.) and didn't realize I could simply add a link like that. I was making it harder than it needed to be. Appreciate the basic tip, tuanphan!
