How to create a landing page that can take me to two different projects under the same domain?

Recommended Posts

Site URL: http://solucionesadi.com/

Hey guys, I'm new to squarespace and I'm interested in creating a web page that can show both type of projects that my company do.

Just to give you an introduction, my company work as a construction general contractor but as well we sell energy and water efficiency solutions for the construction industry. I want to create maybe two "microsites", not sure if that is the correct description, but basically divide my landing page into two sides, one the GC side and the other one the Energy / Water Solutions. We will use the same URL, for example for one project will be xyz.com/water-energy-solutions and the other project will be xyz.com/construction

Please find attached an example https://www.fraternapladis.mx/. I got the idea from this web.

I'm looking forward for your comments on layouts or templates that I can work this out and as well CSS coding to make it happen.

Thanks in advance,

Francisco.

Squarespace 7.0 has built in landing pages with multiple formats. They can be easily set up with action keys and take the visitor to two sections quite easily. The question is, how do you want navigation to work? Does each section have access to the other or they to be unlinked? I split my site, but not totally in half if you know what I mean.

Hi Derrick, thank you for your answer, will look forward for those landing pages with multiple formats.

My main idea will be to split it into two different sites, but I will start working on it and look forward which one will perform better, if as you have it which is not totally in half or the other way.

Hey Derrick,

Do you know if there is a way that once your "in" your pictures section that it has it's own header. And same with the blog, it has it's own unique header.

I'm working on something that is 1 company, but want to break it down by summer season and winter season. But the headers are where I'm getting stuck.

Thanks!

Different header: you mean different navigation items on each header, or different header layout (if different layout, can you describe desired layout for all headers?)
