  1. I'm in need of guidance on improving the shopping experience in our online store. Despite our efforts, we've encountered challenges with conversion rates, and feedback suggests that navigation difficulties might be contributing to this issue. To elaborate, customers have expressed that the process to add products to their cart is not as intuitive as it could be. Specifically, the "Add to Cart" button is positioned at the bottom of the product pages, requiring users to scroll down to find it. After adding an item to the cart, the only indication is a brief "Added!" message, with no clear prompt on what to do next. This lack of guidance forces users to manually navigate to the cart by scrolling back to the top of the page and clicking on the cart icon. Additionally, once in the cart, the checkout process seems to be another area where users are facing obstacles. Important information can be easily overlooked due to its placement, and the "Continue" buttons are oddly located in the middle of the page, further complicating the flow. I am convinced there is a more streamlined approach to address these user experience concerns. I welcome any suggestions, best practices, or advice on how to optimize our store's layout, design, and checkout process. Have any of you faced similar challenges and found effective solutions? Any insights on plugins, custom CSS/JavaScript, or adjustments within Squarespace's settings that could enhance our site's usability would be greatly appreciated.
  2. What if we treated this as an MVP and manually created the page for now? Possible to handle to log in?
  3. I want to create functionality where someone can visit a home page and submit an account number and corresponding pin. After the info is submitted, info would display (it can be on a redirect or on the same page) that pertains to the specific login information that was entered. - The account number and pin can be assigned and will never change. - We would like the person to be able to log in and update the information that will be displayed on the page on their own. Any ideas on how to do that? I thought a membership site might do the trick, but I'm stumped.
  4. I have a fairly large Google Spreadsheet that lists all of the funeral homes in the country. It has state and city information in it, and I'd like to be able to create web pages for each of the funeral homes. Given the number of funeral homes, it won't be realistic for me to create a page for every funeral automatically. Any tips on how to automate or approach this? I'd like to have a link to each state with a list of the cities that are available with funeral homes, if possible. I'm at a loss... thanks!
  5. I think I figured it out, but the "resources" link now looks like it is dropped by a few pixels below the others options in chrome. Any way to fix? Code injection: a.header-nav-folder-title:after { content: "\e009"; font-family: 'squarespace-ui-font'; position: relative; }
