I think maybe I was supposed to add the records to the cPANEL? Have confirmed with Ventra I needed to also copy the MX record across from the cPANEL, mystery solved. I think I'll call the provider next time and step through the process save any risks.

Hi, It's the first time connecting a ventraip domain to a Squarespace website. When I updated/added the records yesterday to the DNS inside the clients Ventraip account, it seems to have dropped her email records out. I didn't however delete any email records, and to fix this the clients IT has added them into the records today and is convinced I deleted them. The website is still propagating and Squarespace has confirmed everything is right with the records. What have I done to delete the email records? I have a screenshot of the records before I touched them, then afterwards today, once I updated them, and the IT guy added in the outlook records. What am I missing? I don't want this to happen again? Of course my client is a conveyancer so has been stressing about really important legal emails that she may not now received from the 24hr period. Client domain/email is all Ventraip. I'm on hold to speak to Ventraip to try and see what went wrong. Attached files - 1. the records before I touched them 2. With the new records I added in, plus the outlook ones from the clients IT which has reconnected her email.

Hi, I'm building a shop for a client and really like the bold nature of this website which has been made in Squarespace. Does anyone know of a free template similar to this which has full width imagery (I particularly like how it splits down the centre), and the scrolling full width text? Excuse my ignorance if these features are things I can build in any template, I'm fairly new to this space. I imagine this may be a purchased squarespace site, and/or customised? Hi, It's my first time posting, and to date I've built websites with basic functionality. I have a conveyancing client who wants a new website and is interested in an online interactive, quote calculator - I'm thinking something basic like the attached url conveyancing.com.au has on their homepage? Is this something that can be done easily within squarespace, or does it need to be created with other software and then embedded the code into my clients website/page?
