This doesn't look like a Squarespace error, but probably caused by the huge padding on the buttons and narrow width in the grid. I would try reducing that padding and relying on the FILL to make them the right width.
This setup has some major drawbacks on tablet too:

I recently did a full redesign of my website so that I could utilize the more fluid design options in the new version of Squarespace....and I absolutely love my freeing design options when it comes to the websites.  
I had been a mail chimp user for years and would utilize this service for not only automation but also for weekly email newsletters, I thought I would give the Squarespace option a try and I signed up for a year of service, I went to design my campaign and was very disappointed that the same fluid design engine available for the websites is not available for the email marketing design.  
For example I would like to create a simple paragraph and place an image embedded in that paragraph allowing the text to word wrap around the image that is either left or right justified.  I am able to do this with Mail Chimp and I am able to do it in Constant Contact, but no such luck with SquareSpace....I am very disappointed in the lack of functionality when what I was trying to do was utilize one company for all of my services.  I went to cancel the email marketing option only to find out that it is of course non refundable....am I missing something is there really an option to do what I would like to do or are my fears correct that the SquareSpace Email Marketing tool just really does not align with some of the other options out there?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just tested the bookmarklet on my test site and it worked a treat.
The only thing that comes to mind is it wasn't installed properly. The first thing to check it to see if the bookmarklet looks something like the following in the browser bookmark editor.

@MK-Estate I agee, it’s a terrible user experience. Please see this workaround provided by @creedon: Blog Post Date Past Go To. It's a bookmarklet that you add as a favourite to your browser and it allows you to type a date:

Note that Squarespace only permits dates as far back as 01/01/1970.

Anyone discovered any way to securely back up your website other than duplicating every 15 days?  Squarespace should have a way to save your website in progress and be able to restore it back to that point.  This is likely to drive me to the competition as my website has already disappeared once but fortunately Support was able to get it back.  I have no idea what happened.

Anyone have other ideas / workarounds for adding a traditional secondary navigation in 7.1? I've used text and icon links to hyperlink to content on the same or different pages, but it's not as simple as a more traditional secondary nav on main nav hover. Anchor links or page jumps are a vital component to any website, but specifically important for those websites that are text-heavy or have a lot of content on a single page. In essence, an anchor link is a special URL that takes you to a specific place on a page. They’re useful for letting your visitors skip to the parts of your content that interest them, and they’re a great organizational device that aids readability. Before stuffing your Main Navigation with anchor links, there are some considerations you need to take into account. I have a main menu on all pages but I want to create a new second one on a new page with different links. What's the best way to go about this? I've created buttons but I feel like there must be an easier and smoother way. I would want this second menu to exist on all the new nested pages.

Yea, she got excited and purchased her subscription before we had a chance to discuss her design. I appreciate her enthusiasm, but now I'm stuck having to start over on her website in 7.1. I am not incredibly savvy with code, but I do have a tabs plug in that I am installing to get a similar effect. It won't be the same, so I'm crossing my fingers my creativity will lead me to a solution that she loves better than tremont!!! Appreciate your input and help @derricksrandomviews!

Your only option is to do as Customer Service said. 7.1 and 7.0 are very different platforms, there is no way to simply move content from one to the other.  If your client is inside of 14 days from the first payment then a refund can be had, if it is an annual plan, if monthly then turn off auto re-new and let it expire.  Another thing you can do is transfer ownership of the 7.0 site to your client, but if you are trying to end the 7.1 site its all about how long it has been active.

Does anyone know how to integrate Lightspeed HQ POS with Squarespace? I can't seem to find anything. If anyone has any third party recommendations or some code that would work, please let me know.

When you upgrade to the new Customer Notifications Composer, all previous customisations for customer notifications are deleted, including those on Customer Invoices that you print from the Orders panel. They will therefore be unbranded. 
As there isn't a workaround for this yet, I recommend that you open a ticket through Customer Care to raise awareness of this issue.

If you're using the new Customer Notifications Composer to edit commerce email notifications, the business logo can be added to the Global Email Style template. Once added, it will appear on all your customers' commerce emails.
This includes:
Order confirmed Order fulfilled Order refunded Digital downloads Donation confirmed Payment declined Product not available ...and so on To access this, go to Commerce > Customer Notifications > Global Email Styles. Here you will see a preview of your email. Click EDIT (top right) to open the email composer. You'll now be able to click the header and add/edit your logo.
Unfortunately the new composer does not include a 'Customer Invoice' type, so once you have upgraded to the new Customer Notifications Composer, there isn't a way to customise invoices that you print from the Orders panel. The upgrade deletes all previous customisations, including any HTML that you used to add branding to your invoices before the upgrade. For the moment, there's not a workaround for this if you've upgraded.

I need this too! I contacted customer support and was told the following:
At this time it isn't possible to generate a payable invoice with our platform tools. However, as part of our efforts to continue to innovate and update our product, I will gladly pass this on to our Development team as a feature request. This is a popular feature request among merchants who use Squarespace. While we can't guarantee implementation, this is an important part of how we continue to improve our platform, so we appreciate your input.
eCommerce is changing, especially with Instagram Live sales. Being able to send customers a payable invoice would make life so much easier. I hope they release a solution soon!

Also following; we're not looking for how to edit the emails but how to edit the order invoices that we print out to include with packages. Mine has the logo taking up half the page 😕

I think they used Lightbox Plugin.

How do you add a logo to customer emails / invoice?
Please explain in a way that a none coder will understand.
