Shedra Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 Anyone discovered any way to securely back up your website other than duplicating every 15 days? Squarespace should have a way to save your website in progress and be able to restore it back to that point. This is likely to drive me to the competition as my website has already disappeared once but fortunately Support was able to get it back. I have no idea what happened. inkmouse and MarkShorter 2
Horizonte Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Good question and unfortunately squarespace seem to have no interest in offering this. Maybe it would also double their hosting costs, no idea. I only came across this topic because I wanted to try something without messing up my original site. So I found out how to make a copy of it for this purpose. But then, yes, they want to charge you after the so-called advertising phase.
VPJ Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Bump. Squarespace, come on! All I need is the abilty to export my site for backup and restore purposes. That wouldn't add to your storage servers.
