  1. I've been using Squarespace for years now and I understand that a platform such as this will never be as customisable as having a custom site built. However, the lack of any option to edit the name of an image file already uploaded to the site is mind blowing. There is an image editor that lets us crop, adjust and manipulate. The addition of file name changing cannot be hard to add, and has been requested by many users many times over. The need to name files for SEO is vital for photographer, and many others. We don't always know this when building our sites and need to add names at a later date. Our SEO targets also change as our business grows and sometimes we need to adjust our SEO titles. Re uploading from our computers is far from ideal as there seems to be no way to efficiently replace their predecessors in multiple galleries and pages. So, Squarespace, we as your paying customers, ask that you please insert a system for us to rename images on the site please. Comment below if you too would like this added and maybe the company we pay (a hansom fee) to provide this platform may actually sort it out. Thanks
  2. Hey, thanks for the reply. Yes, definitely still need it. I've now building the overview page full of individual image blocks, creating a nicer tile effect than the usual gallery blocks. I can have each image set to lightbox individually, but would really want people to be able to activate an overall lightbox for the whole page. Would that be code on it's own, or using the plug in? Would love to know what you think, as I'm not totally sure I need the plug in or if it will actually give the desired effect. Also, would the lightbox start at the image that was clicked on, or just from the beginning of a selection?
  3. I've been looking at this plugin today. Will it pull a page of images (multiple images) into a Lightbox. I'm now using 7.1 and have laid out images, not using a gallery, as I like the free flow of placing them individually. Sadly, Squarespace doesn't offer a Lightbox feature in this mode, but I want the whole selection to appear when you click one.
  4. Is there still no move from Squarespace to change this? It must be about 20 minutes work for their team? My site ws built years ago and billed in USD, I'm in the UK. I'm on legacy and need increase my page limit so would like to upgrade to the modern "business" plan. It seems in the UK I should be paying £15 a month if paid annually, but will have to pay £20 instead due to the USD thing! So are my options, create a whole new account a build a new page from scratch or pay up? If so then at least I don't have to think about the decision to leave. I'm off........
  5. Site URL: https://www.benhughesphotography.com/ Hi, I'm trying to find a way to set the "Initial gallery view" for individual pages/galleries. For most of my work I like the overview look and so I have the Gallery Options set to "Initial Gallery view: Thumbnails" and my Home page set to slide show to display a single image. But I have a photo project that I would like to display in a slide show format when you click on the page and not show all of the thumbnails first. I can't come up with a way to do so as using the Gallery options changes every gallery on the site. Is there anything I can inject into that specific gallery to force the initial view to be slide show? I have had a search around the internet and so far haven't been able to find anything. The template I use is Wells The page I am trying to work on is currently hidden at the moment but it looks like all of the other gallery pages on the site Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
