@chrissysilvawebdesign As a first step, try to a "force reload" in Chrome:

  • On a mac, hold down the ⌘ Cmd and ⇧ Shift key together and then press R
  • On a PC, hold down Ctrl and press F5.

If that doesn't help, see my earlier post:

It looks like your page is loading without styles. Try restarting your browser, clearing the cache, and re-logging in to your Squarespace account. If that doesn't work, contact Squarespace Support:

Cant show site as still private.

Follow the site-wide password content in my following boilerplate text.

Please post the URL for a page on your site where we can see your issue.

A link to the backend of the your site won’t work for us, i.e. a url that contains /config/.

Please set up a site-wide password, if your site is not public and you've not already done so.

Post the password here.

Adding a site-wide password does not allow anyone to alter your site. It only allows those with the password to see your site.

Please read the site-wide password and how to share a link documentation to understand how they work.

We can then take a look at your issue.

You may find How to post a forum question post useful.

I have seen this issue before and it has always self corrected after a reload or two. The cause, I think, is that some resources are not being loaded, specifically site styling information and so the site is messed up.

Have you quit your browser and restarted. Have you done the same for you computer, router, and etc.

You also might try a super reload. You'd have to read on internet to how to do it for your browser. Have you cleared the cache for the site?

Let us know how it goes.

Hi! I'm trying to build my site and yesterday it was fine. Today, I'm finding that my logo is huge and the page is self-scrolling when I try to scroll down. Is anyone else having this issue? Is this a Squarespace issue? I've attached how it looks like on my end. Site has not even been published yet and I'm already having issues. I also did not add a Skip to Content link as shown in the image, so I'm not even sure where that came from. Thanks in advance for your help! 🙂image.thumb.png.ec0f5edf80bac3dc753c6feff1b2a81f.png
