  1. creedon's post in Disable background video on mobile was marked as the answer
Replace the CSS with the following.
    // hide background video on mobile, uses LESS syntax @media only screen and ( max-width : 640px ) {   [data-section-id="614d83396366d44183ffeb9e"] .section-background {   & > * {        display : none;          }          background-image : url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/60105c27c73dc30e2600e7c3/t/614e262b84ed4320845868f1/1632511546056/DJI_0047.jpg);     background-repeat : no-repeat;     background-size : auto 100%;          }        } This is for v7.1.
The only issue with the original code is that, I believe, it was written before the advent of SS hosted video backgrounds.
My version is a little more generalized in targeting the background elements and more specific in targeting the page section.

  2. creedon's post in Folders Not Appearing in Navigation Menu was marked as the answer
The following line in Design > Custom CSS is hiding the folder. Remove it.

  4. creedon's post in Newbie question: Are embed blocks and code blocks the same thing? was marked as the answer
The embed block and code block are not the same.
    From the embed block documentation.
It has two ways to embed. The first is by using a URL. If SS recognizes the URL it will work magic behind the scenes to set things up for you. If not then you can click the </> symbol to enter embed code generated the service directly.
The code block can handle embed code but also handles a wider set of needs. It can handle HTML, Javascript, Markdown, plain text, and display code as a source listing.
  5. creedon's post in Post round images to sections in 7.1 - help needed was marked as the answer
Many of the images have an overlay which SS puts an opacity on by default. Some of those can be changed in the SS interface.
Edit the color theme for the page section the image card is in. Click on the Image Overlay color circle. A pop-up dialog will appear. Drag the bottom circle in the pop up all the way to the left.

Notice the little circle in the lower right of the image. That is the one you want to drag to the left.

  6. creedon's post in Mystery } has appeared at the top of clients website! was marked as the answer
It's somewhere around this code I think. Where that code is, in your site is hard to say but it does look more like header code somewhere.
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="/s/WMSplitSections.css"> }</style> <style>@media(max-width:799px){ It should probably look like the following.

  7. creedon's post in Keep Main Navigation underlined when viewing a Not Linked Page was marked as the answer
It may be possible to do this with CSS only but it seems to me it would be a more tortuous route. Javascript seems a better fit here.
Add the following to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection > HEADER. The OP doesn't need to do this step as they already have jQuery installed.
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.1/jquery.min.js"></script> Add the following to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection > FOOTER.
    <script>   $( ( ) => {        /*            begin add navigation magazine underline to magazine subpages              Version       : 0.1d0              SS Version    : 7.1              Dependancies  : jQuery              By            : Thomas Creedon < http://www.tomsWeb.consulting/ >              no user serviceable parts below              */              // bail if not magazine subpage              if ( ! location.pathname.startsWith ( '/magazine/' ) ) return;              $( '.header-nav-item [href="/magazine"]' )                .parent ( )                  .addClass ( 'header-nav-item--active' );                // end add navigation magazine underline to magazine subpages            } );        </script> Let us know how it goes.
  8. creedon's post in How to do Alphabetization of Categories on my store page? was marked as the answer
You can reorder by going to Store Settings > Categories. Hover over a category, click and hold the drag handle and move them around as desired.

  9. creedon's post in Linking to a page section from header drop down menu in Roseti template was marked as the answer
Yes you can do something like what you want.
Generally you'd create folders in the Main Navigation. Then in the folders you create Link pages that point to a page and URI fragment.

Then within the page with areas you want to link to, you need to add code blocks before each of the areas, something like the following.
<div id="mission" name="mission"></div> Without being able to see the pages in question and the site it is hard to be more specific.

  11. creedon's post in Can I remove padding from a specific image using the css editor? was marked as the answer
Remove previous attempts at this effect.
Add the following to Design > Custom CSS.
    #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1611536090911_13771, #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1611536090911_15064, #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1611536090911_5435, #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1626279894886_78956   {        padding : 0;          } This is for v7.0 using the Brine template family.
If you delete or add blocks then you'll need to update the block id selectors. Notice the last selector doesn't get a comma after it.

  12. creedon's post in Can I remove padding from a specific image using the css editor? was marked as the answer
Most likely yes. We'd need to know which specific image you want to remove the padding from.
  13. creedon's post in Changing margin on specific text in text blocks was marked as the answer
I think you can do this without CSS. I assume you are looking to go from...

    ...to...

Simply use shift return or enter instead of return/enter when you want to go to the next line in the text editor.

  19. creedon's post in How to have the main landing page of of a store show images of categories instead of all products within the categories. was marked as the answer
    I think it is possible.
Add the following to Store Settings > Advanced > Page Header Code Injection for the store page.
    <style> /* this ruleset is not active in SS Preview. to test it use private browsing < https://bit.ly/3f6lhq2 > */ body:not( .sqs-edit-mode ) .products.collection-content-wrapper .list-grid { display : none; } </style> This is for v7.1.

  20. creedon's post in Unknown code break on Index Page 7.0. Brine - Going crazy was marked as the answer
The a tag line is unclosed. It should look like the following.
<a href="/contact" class="sqs-block-button-element--large sqs-block-button-element" id="my-cta-button">WORK WITH US</a> That may explain the odd placement of the tag in strange places.

  21. creedon's post in VinoShipper 2021. Please help!! was marked as the answer
I followed the instructions provided and got some results.

It appears you put all the code in a code block. The instructions want the line...
    <div id="vs-winelist"></div>
    ...in code block.
The rest goes in Settings > Advanced > Code Injection > FOOTER.

  22. creedon's post in 'X' remove item button in the shopping cart page is hidden/black was marked as the answer
    For one.
#cart .item-remove span {   color : white;   } On two. Customers will still be able to change the quantity on the checkout page. You can not alter the checkout page. It is a SS security feature.

  23. creedon's post in How to place 2 images on opposite sides of the page? (visual example below) was marked as the answer
Even though you're not using a background image on that section, set the background image to full bleed.

Add the following to Design > Custom CSS.
    [data-section-id="60c3a049a9e0ef1b010386eb"]:not( .full-bleed-section ) > .content-wrapper {   padding-left : 0;   padding-right : 0;      } Let us know how it goes.

  24. creedon's post in How to place 2 images on opposite sides of the page? (visual example below) was marked as the answer
Here is the basic effect. I set the content width of the page section to custom 100.

You can of course put any block(s) you want in the middle area.
Then I threw on some CSS to get the section to be full-bleed.

Once you get the basic effect started and are happy with the direction it is going hit us up for the CSS.
v7.1 has only one template. What SS calls templates for v7.1 are a starting point of colors and fonts.
