Huge Influx of "Unique Visitors"

Hey there, my site shows a MASSIVE influx of "unique visitors" on Monday, but it doesn't make any sense to me. I attached screen grabs of the analytic data -- does anyone know why this would happen? It seems like some sort of spammy thing, but I still can't understand why?

Some highlights from the attached:

1. 202 unique visitors, 198 of which hit at 8 PM. We typically get between 1 and 5 unique visitors a day.
2. Visitors are pretty evenly split between three browsers -- Firefox, Edge, and Chrome.
3. 194 visitors are from Canada. I don't know any reason we would have a spike there.
4. 199 visits with a direct traffic source.
5. Popular content is also pretty spread out across the site. 

Anyone know what's up?

I've been getting the same for just over a year now. Every few months, and always from Canada! I've never even been there!

Beauharnois, Montreal, and Dollard-des-Ormeaux. Very strange indeed.

You may want to contact Squarespace Customer Support so they can take a closer look into this and eventually share more insight about why this may be happening. @DoubleAPhotography While contacting customer support, any additional specific details and screenshots would be very helpful.

Did anyone get an answer to this? I just got a traffic spike from the above listed cities in Canada. Someone also tried to log into my email the night before so I’m kinda freaked out. 

Hack attacks from someone or someones  hiding behind a Canadian URL but they could be from anywhere.

It wouldn't hurt to change your passwords for email and your site.
