Nick_SquareKicker got a reaction from sorca_marian in Auto Scroll Carousel Block Squarespace 7.1
    Hi @rebeccagracedesigns,
I've gotten a few customer support tickets from SquareKicker customers complaining about Squarespace not working because the SK UI keeps closing.  I found this code above was the issue and after searching google for it, it lead me here.
Because it initiates a "Click" every 3-5 seconds, when in EDIT MODE when you open something on Squarespace, (SQSP UI or even Add Section) 3 seconds later it closes.  This is because the code above is simulating a click on the screen which force closes the UI.
It also should only be in the header injection of a page with a carousel NOT the footer, otherwise your websites console triggers an error every 3 seconds, which is not great for SEO or performance.
This code really needs to be wrapped in "Do not run this if the page is in Edit Mode." See code update below:
NOTE: For Squarespace 7.1 (untested on 7.0)
    <script> if $( 'body.sqs-edit-mode-active').length ) { window.onload = function() {   var nextArrow = document.querySelector(".summary-carousel-pager-next");      function clickNext() {     nextArrow.click();   }     setInterval(clickNext, 3000); }; } </script>

My name is Nick and I’m the founder of SquareKicker.com. SquareKicker is an intuitive, no-code Squarespace design and animation extension which allows you to bring your Squarespace websites to the next level.
SquareKicker started as an idea while I was working as a freelance web designer. As my business Frontier Media grew I began hiring more staff to help me develop custom websites.
When COVID hit New Zealand in March 2020, we went into lockdown and spent all of our time working on the idea I had for SquareKicker.
After proof of concept took shape, my wife and I took out a second mortgage and scaled our team and released SquareKicker to the world in October 2020. It’s grown ALOT since then with over 3500 websites in the last 12 months.
We are continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible with no-code web design so anyone can create their unique design without any complex technical barriers.

Nick_SquareKicker got a reaction from e2astudio in I've done something to my website with custom CSS & lost the social links on the mobile menu. Can anyone help?
    Hi @goosbumps,
I've got your DM asking for some help.  I've had a look at your site and it just looks like you are missing a closing </style> tag at the end of your CSS in your Footer.  Without this, your SQSP code is breaking the SVG's on your site. You could move your CSS to your Custom CSS area so you don't need opening and closing style tags and just leave your Scripts in your Footer.
FYI - To reduce your code, you could do most of what your custom code is doing with SquareKicker then you won't have to worry about broken code messing up your site:  ie SquareKicker can hide your Social Icons in you overlay menu per screen size, has a built in Back to Top Button, hover animations, etc.

Hi! I'm Téa, founder and owner of Téa Rae Designs - a digital content hub for brands and business owners. I started my business in 2020 under the name 'Emerald Freelance', but as my business grew and my expertise shifted from just copywriting to now Squarespace website design, graphic design, AND copywriting, I changed it in an effort to be more professional and aligned with my services.
I like to think of what I provide to businesses as designing a digital space for their brands to thrive. Whether this be a website to interact with their customers, sell products, and promote their story, graphic design for social media, eBooks, or print materials, or even copywriting; this is their digital space and presence and I want to walk through that journey with them.
Téa Rae Designs takes pride in truly embodying the brand within each project. Taking into heavy consideration their voice, aesthetics, and message, in order to visually convey the message they want their audience to hear - authentically. As as designer, I love stepping outside of my comfort zone with projects and pushing the boundaries of what can be done. Collaborating with clients on this part of the project is by far my favorite.

SquareKicker only works for Squarespace 7.1 but works on both Classic and Fluid Engine.

Now that there is a 7.0 -> 7.1 migration tool, you can migrate your site to 7.1 and install SquareKicker!

    Hi @REARCH,
I've had a look at your site and all of SquareKicker has been removed.  Also, it looks like there is some weird styling on your H2 and H4 text with 1200px Margin Left (See Screenshot). If this is removed, it fixes this issue.
This is not SquareKicker code, but would happy to help have a look at what is causing this for you, but would need admin access to your site sent to support@squarekicker.com.

First post since joining as a Circle Member!

My partner and I just launched a boutique digital marketing agency, Ten Two Marketing, based in beautiful North Vancouver, Canada. We've been in shadow mode for a little bit managing a few clients and are just now starting to make it more official with the launch of a website! I know right - digital marketers without a website?! Working on other people's digital presence is just more fun I guess.

We focus mainly on digital strategy, social media management, and content creation for underserved small to midsize businesses. My partner is the marketing specialist and I'm more of the back-end digital strategist, so it's great to have this community of gurus to tap into when help is needed.

Check us out at www.tentwomarketing.com and let me know what you think of the first cut of our Squarespace site. Thanks 🙂

If you have any broken code in your header this will break your site. Sounds like you accidentally deleted some SK code which will in return have a ripple affects for any code below this site.

If you remove all SK’s code and reinstall, SK will rebuild your Saved changes from backup.

    Thanks for your help @creedon!
