    GeraldW32 got a reaction from matx2that in Screenshot API with customization features
    I totally understand the challenge you're facing. It can be overwhelming to sift through all the different screenshot APIs out there. Last year when I was looking for one, I became aware of this, didn't know the number of options would be so high.
    While I can't say for sure if the screenshot API I've been using will cover all your needs since I'm not sure of all your specific requirements, I can definitely recommend checking out the features listed on their website.
    From my experience, it offers customizable appearance options for web pages before capturing screenshots. You can run custom JavaScript in the context of the page; it is executed once the page's DOM has fully loaded, but before capturing the screenshot. It does have features to block pop-ups and hide cookie banners. Plus, it allows you to take both single-element and full-page screenshots.
    I don't think it will take you long to see if it's a good fit for your project, but if there is something you're not sure about, I encourage you to contact them directly. Honestly, I don't often get to praise customer support, but in this case - easily 10/10.

    Thanks for sharing this video, it's really helpful. Explaining through examples is by far the best way to do it, at least for me.

    Hey @ECBAdmin - happy to help!
    I've recorded a Loom video which should help: https://www.loom.com/share/494e3d196fa4409dbc64ad704fcd4430?sid=9f23a1ad-b3bb-4bbc-96fe-6f73e825fe38
    I ran your site through SEOSpace - I don't have access to your Google Search Console, so I can't get fully accurate results, but hope this helps!
    Here's the video I mentioned:

    GeraldW32 got a reaction from matx2that in Digital business card (CRM and Marketing benefits) - your experience?
    I've been exploring digital business cards lately. Seems to me that they can be great for marketing and sales; you can track interactions with potential clients, and integrate the collected data with your customer relationship management (CRM) system (at least some solutions offer this as an option). Or use them to share promotional materials, or provide quick access to product catalogs, social media profiles, or customer testimonials. A special bonus in my book is that they are environmentally friendly, reducing paper waste.
    Integrating a digital business card into your site or email signature looks to me like a way to go. Now, I've looked into the best digital business card reviews (this might come in handy) and I have a couple of promising candidates. Before I go ahead and create one, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask the community here - do you have a digital business card already and would you recommend the maker you used?

    I checked, and of course, you are right and thank you for correcting me. I wrote what I read on a blog a while ago without checking, my bad. (Talking about the part "being updated frequently")

    You could start by checking your website's source code for any malicious or unwanted content. It's also a good idea to scan your website with an online scanner or security software. You could also review your website's logs for any messages that may indicate the source of the issue.

    I'm not sure where you read this, but the opposite is true. You shouldn't be concerned about updating your content whenever it is out of date. Updating genuine content to keep it current can improve your freshness score.
    Google will only consider it spam if you do things that violate their policies with the intention of manipulating rankings in Google Search results. For example, keyword stuffing (filling a web page with keywords or numbers), adding hidden content (like white text on a white background, hiding text behind an image) and so on.

    GeraldW32 got a reaction from LucyMac in Does editing already published posts have a negative affect on website?
    It shouldn't because when you make changes to an already published post, you're telling Google that this is a new version of the same content. As long as you properly mark up your revised content with the appropriate metadata, there's no reason why editing a post should have any negative impact on its search engine visibility. However, I wouldn't recommend doing it often, as Google and other search engines may see the post as being updated frequently, and give it a lower ranking as a result. Making frequent and substantive changes to the content could also be seen as spamming and could lead to a decrease in traffic.

    You're using Squarespace's Fluid Engine, but looks like you haven't edited the mobile layout.
    Mobile and Desktop layouts are separate on Fluid engine, which explains why many of your icons are all towards the bottom of the Library page on mobile.
    Check out this guide:
    Mobile layout

    Also note that since there are many versions of Squarespace ( many that have gone ), you need to be aware that whatever tutorial you are following applies to the version of SS you are using. If it doesn't state the version that it is for, you should be suspect of its accuracy for whatever version you are using. This last bit applies to any product that has versions. Which is just about everything in our lives these days! 🙂

    Creating a blog post archive this way sounds like a very good idea, thank you. I will definitely look into it. You can also make them into landing pages for specific marketing campaigns, which is also something I'm considering at the moment.

    GeraldW32 reacted to derricksrandomviews in How do you like to use Not linked pages on your website?
    You can also create a blog post archive in the unlinked section of your site. If using 7.1 you can duplicate any post to that blog and then delete it off your published site. The unlinked blog page doesn't have to be enabled for it to still work this way.

    GeraldW32 got a reaction from Eliataylor in How do I remove the underline from an active link?
    Hello there!
    To remove the underline from an active link on a web page, you can use the following CSS code:
    a { text-decoration: none }
    If you want to remove the underline from all links on a web page, you can use the following CSS code:
    a { text-decoration: none }
    li a { text-decoration:none }
    Also, you can highlight the text you want to be a link. Then, right-click on the text and select "Hyperlink." In the "Link Properties" dialog box that pops up, uncheck the "Underline Hyperlink" checkbox and click "OK." Your text will now appear without an underline, indicating that it's a live link.
