Mobile Displays Code Block as Empty Space

Working with 7.1 and not enjoying it at all.  I added code blocks as anchor points, no visible text.  The blocks on the desk top do not appear but on the mobile version they are creating huge space gaps on the page.  Sizing them doesn't seem to have an impact.  They shift around and break the anchor point as I'm editing.  I have no idea how to remove the space gaps due to a block with no content.  Deleting them from mobile deletes the anchor. Ideas?

Have you tried changing the layout on mobile on fluid engine?

This worked for me when I had a similar issue, hope it will help OP too. 

@Beyondspace Thank you for sharing the video.  I am using fluid engine and that is where the code block is creating the gap.   The anchor code block needs to stay at the top of the section, and the only resizing it is letting me do is drop it from full width to a box that is 6 segments tall x 2.5 wide.  

Also, when I'm making adjustments on mobile it is drastically changing the desktop version and I don't see how to disconnect that activity.  Is there a way to do that because I'm ready to chuck this if not?  Thanks in advance for your response. Appreciate you.

Can you take video recording of your issue? Sorry that I am still not clear your point, a video could be more visible for me to understand
