Adding Events to Email Campaigns

It's really disappointing that we can't add events to our email campaigns.  Anyone found a work around that doesn't require retyping or copying and pasting everything by hand before I give up? 

I'm with you on this. We really, really want to be able to send out a weekly newsletter featuring upcoming events. If we were able to choose events like you can choose a blog post, this would be super simple. What makes this more confusing is that the Squarespace Event Lists have their own RSS feed URL, so it shouldn't be any different than pulling a blog post. 

Any update on this? It would be so helpful to be able to include events in an email campaign just like you can add a blog post. 

I, too, am searching for this feature. I think the only work around is also creating a blog post?

I connect to events using the URL link to our Eventbrite space. It is really easy. I have done it across blogs, on our landing page, and in our email blasts. It's one link for all.

Any news on this, I'd love this feature too

Keeping this thread going! Yes, this would be really great to be able to add events to the campaigns, and it seems odd that blog posts are so easy to add, but not events...

Is that right, I can't include my avents in the email campaign? Why not? It's so easy to include the blog post. 

I am fairly new here, so just to confirm what most of us think apparently - it would be quite a useful feature. Would love to hear some good news about this.

Agree, this would be very useful for a number of my clients.

Same! We're transitioning away from eventbrite... Eventbrite integrates to mailchimp no problem: easy to send follow up emails triggered by event check in. Would like to be able to do this via squarespace if possible: track customers attending events (via service product purchase).

But really why have events at all - why don't service products have a time and date field??? Essential for tracking the customer journey of our class attendees.

If anyone knows how to send automated emails triggered by event time, please let me know.

Would also love to be able to add events to marketing emails in the same way as blog entries.
