Simple portfolio with project carousel - help!

Hi.

I am looking to build a simple site, similar in design to this:

Essentially what I would like is:

• A ‘project’ carousel which displays images / video that fills the browser
• Simple header text which appears over the project carousel 
• Further links to appear over the project carousel at the bottom of the browser (email / social etc)
• The header / footer colour to ‘invert’ depending on the image it appears over for legibility

Can anyone advise if this is possible using Squarespace and if so which template is best to start with?

The site you linked is visually simple but not technically simple. You're not going to get to that with just a template. There will be coding involved.

You can build a site very similar but not exactly to the site posted. Using Squarespace 7.0 and here are some choices.
