Original Post, June 2020: As you know, Squarespace supports subscriptions, but it doesn't support payment plans and hasn't announced any plans to do so.

If you need payment plans now, you're better off with Shopify (affiliate link) because it offers integrations with popular pay-later services like Klarna, AfterPay, Zip and Sezzle.

Update February 2021: Squarespace added Afterpay as an option in the US, Australia and New Zealand. PayPal Pay-in-3 is available in the UK.

Update December 2021: Squarespace added Clearpay in the UK. Clearpay is the brand name of Afterpay in the United Kingdom.

I really hope Squarespace releases the payment plan/ buy now pay later feature. I sent them a note via the contact form.

This would be HUGE for service products. I'm a photographer and web designer. I could utilize the service products for different packages, and the forms for contracts. I typically have my clients put 20% down at time of signing and the remaining balance due at completion. 

I could ditch my other apps I currently use for this. 

Afterpay is nice but it's only for physical products. I'd love to see a payment plan option in Commerce or at least Members Areas.

Would be really nice to see an afterpay option/payment plan option for services. Why is there not one? Is there custom code i can plugin to my website?
