FE can be very frustrating (it is for me!) because there are lots of things going on in the background that, if you aren't aware of them, can make things seem unpredictable. Examples are
"Row stretch" (see the height of the rows in the image below) Avoiding overlapping blue boxes Creating space within the blue box for elements to expand
Can you share some screenshot examples of your issues, including screenshots of the pages whilst in the editor in mobile and desktop (showing the grid)? That may allow contributors to suggest solutions/workarounds for the issues you're experiencing 🙂.

How have you added the video to the homepage? Using a Video Block or as a Background Video?
If it has been added as a Background Video, the sound will not play. This is by design.

I've evaluated many of these consent tools for use with Squarespace and as a result I personally recommend CookieScript. (This is an affiliate link. Squarespace supports Stripe and PayPal for online commerce payments. You cannot use any other third party payment processor with Squarespace.

I contacted Squarespace regarding the issue. Initially, customer support suggested that my custom code was interfering with the picture effect. However, even after removing all custom CSS code and code blocks, the problem persisted. It appeared to be caused by the animated creative backgrounds. Upon reaching out to customer support again, they acknowledged an issue on their end. They assigned a Squarespace product support specialist to investigate, who determined that the problem arose from the combination of the image effect and the site-wide 'Scale' animation.
TL;DR
If you encounter this issue and happen to come across this post, simply change the site-wide animation to something other than 'Scale' and you'll be fine. The problem has been reported to Squarespace's Engineering and Design teams and will be addressed in a future update.

@paul2009Yes, I agree that more customers need to report the issue, though I guess many are not aware of the issue and that it is potentially harmful to the site's SEO. I now have a support ticket to refer to. Squarespace know that this issue is affecting sites "platform wide" and is "treating it as a priority". Let's see.
I've tried out your suggested workaround and, as you say, when I add in a new image block, change the design so that I can see the image title and caption, I actually get to the see offending text to delete! (Thanks for the suggestion.) Need to double check that the change is reflected in the sitemap. If it is then I will change the template that I use for future blog posts. Really not going to work for me to fix each image individually on the existing posts though (I have nearly 1000!) - also, means I have to add back the alt text and file name again 😞

This is because the .summary-metadata-item class has an opacity of 0.7 set. If you change this to 1, it will remove the "fade". For example:

This is not possible on Squarespace. Each Squarespace website can only be connected to one Stripe account. You cannot connect any additional Stripe accounts that are associated with your email address.

No. It is impossible to change any wording on the Checkout page.

This isn't recommended. By giving customers the freedom to manage their account, as Squarespace intended, you will improve user experience, and empower your brand and reputation. Providing a pleasant 'offboarding' process gives you the opportunity to empathise with the customer and explain the benefits of their subscription. It also helps to prevent disputes and reputational damage.
Whenever a subscription is purchased, it will renew on that date. 
Subscriptions won't start on a single billing date per month; they will renew on the date they were purchased. However, you can delay each new subscription so that they become aligned after purchase but this is a manual process for each purchase. You can do this in Home > Profiles > Customers:
Find and click the customer whose subscription you want to delay. Click Reschedule order date.  Select the new renewal date. Click Save.  Click Continue.

I would like to learn how to create specific lists for my e-mail campaigns for different products that have been purchased. For example, if someone purchases product A, I would like to create a specific e-mail campaign for product A purchasers that is different from product B purchasers.

I'm interested in learning more about product photos and the best way to take/edit pictures. No matter what I try, the bottom part of my picture gets cut off in the thumbnail. Curious to know if this is normal or not.
