URL Structure

Hello everyone,

I'm familiar with WP and newer to Squarespace. I'm managing a plastic surgeon's SS site that has 60+ pages. Right now, everything has a pretty "flat" structure in that the pages all look something like site.com/liposuction rather than site.com/body/liposuction. There are several body procedures, face procedures etc that the surgeon performs so I would like the individual procedures to be nested with the format of .com/body/[procedure], .com/face/[procedure] etc.

I want to give the pages a bit of a hierarchy.  I'm going to be doing some SEO silo pages and would like the silos to be physical (in the form of URLs) rather than purely virtual (via interlinking).

From what I can tell, I can't create subpages of pages within folders, only subpages of folders.

However, when I was playing around with a slug, I was able to create some fairly "nested" URLs such as site.com/breast/augmentation/implant-options

My question is, will this URL structure/hierarchy be reflected in the sitemap? And if not, can I edit Squarespace sitemaps?

Site URL: https://www.spiritwomanleader.com

How do I get my urls to look like this:

https://spiritwomanleader.com/about/hanna-hunt

https://spiritwomanleader.com/services/spiritual-leaders

instead of...

https://spiritwomanleader.com/about-hanna-hunt

https://spiritwomanleader.com/services-for-spirital-leaders

I don't know how to get urls to show that pages are nested underneath a folder, page or link.

You can type this directly into the page's settings panel:

😂 no need to be. I don’t think the design is particularly intuitive.

Hey Paul!! Is this deep hierarchy reflected in the sitemap?

The URL slug that you choose will be shown in the sitemap. You should see this after adding a page/editing the URL slug.
