  1. Hey @kjdawson1,

While there isn't a search field in the 7.1 template store where you can type the template name to find it, there are two options you might want to consider:

    A. Select "All Templates" under the "Browse By" menu at the top left of the page. Then you can use cmd+f (Mac) or ctrl+f (Windows) to type the name of the template and quickly find it.

    B. Directly visit the template's demo site at https://templatename-demo.squarespace.com/. In this case, you'd be replacing the name of the template in the URL.

  2. Hi @wiverson

Thanks for the suggestion. We don't currently offer that feature, but I'd be happy to suggest it to our development team on your behalf. While we can't guarantee implementation of every suggestion, customer feedback is an important part of how we continue to improve our platform, so we appreciate your input.

In the future, for any feedback that you would like to be logged, contacting our Customer Support team would be the best approach. As per section 6 of the forum guidelines we don't track feature requests in this forum.

  3. Hey @larrykay

You could use a Newsletter Block for what you're trying to achieve and then just customize the post-submit message so it has a link to a page where you have uploaded your ebook as a link. You might want to keep that page in the Not Linked section of the Pages panel so it doesn't display on your site's navigation and protected with a password so it could be private. You'd need to include the page password in the Newsletter Block post-submit message as well.

A more sophisticated way to go about that, would be using Email Campaigns (requires a separate subscription) and then setup an automation, so an email containing a link to your eBook is automatically send to the subscriber once he added their email address to the list. You would still use a Newsletter Block to collect your subscriber's email addresses and then just connect that block to Email Campaigns.

  4. Hi @PollyMis

Usually the image that will be displayed when sharing content from your site on social media is the Alternate Social Sharing Image. Check this help article for further details:

How content displays in social posts - Which images display

If you have already uploaded such an image, then I'd recommend having a look into the troubleshooting section of the guide I linked above.

  5. Hey @brandi_sqspace

We'll definitely need to take a closer look into this. I'll be creating an email ticket associated to the email address tied to your Squarespace account so we can keep the convo there.

In the future, if you encounter any technical issues or need assistance with your forum account specifically you can reach out to the Community Team directly

  6. @LRKIf your customers won't need to pay for the digital product that you'd like to "attach" to the physical product and so you can have the process of sending the digital product automated, you might want to have a look into using Email Campaigns and setting up an automated campaign. As a note, Automated campaigns are available on some Email Campaigns plans. Check out this Squarespace help article for more details:

    Sending automated campaigns

  7. Hey @Madelyn

I can confirm you won't indeed need code for what you are trying to achieve. The order of your blocks will depend on the structure of your columns and rows. Here's a Squarespace help article that covers this in more detail:

Page and block layout changes on mobile devices

This guide also has a help video at the top, which explains how can you get the desired order of your blocks when your site is viewed on a mobile device.

For any further questions/assistance, reach out to Squarespace Customer Support, who is available 24/7 and happy to offer personalized assistance.

  8. Hi @Azz

I'd like to point out that banner images will always experience some cropping. This is the nature of how banners are designed and how they work with your site's built-in responsive design - the banner area will resize and crop differently depending on the size of the browser window viewing your site. That's why we usually recommend using abstract patterns and images without text or borders as banner images. Here's two Squarespace help articles outlining some best practices for banner images which might be a good starting point:

Adding banner images - Image formatting tips

  9. Hey @alexamargs

From what you are describing it seems the issue might be related with the the .csv file formatting. Most likely that's the reason why double-checking the .csv file was the suggestion. If you keep experiencing issues with importing your products even after you have ensured that the file meets the required formatting rules, continuing the conversation with Customer Support would be the best approach to get further assistance.

  10. Hey @KDieter

Alternatively to connect to Amazon FBA via ShipStation Squarespace Extension, it might be possible to do it directly (skipping ShipStation) through code and the Squarespace Orders API. The Orders API is an advanced developer resource for Squarespace Commerce customers on the Commerce Advanced plan. Check this guide for more details:

    Squarespace API keys

  11. Hey everyone,

When importing products into your Squarespace site, you must ensure that you're using Squarespace's .csv template and its specific formatting rules before importing.

If you keep experiencing issues with the importing even after your products have been formatted according to the info outlined in the guide above,  please reach out to Squarespace Customer Support team directly for personalized assistance.

  14. Hi Nalvarez,

While there isn't a built-in feature to setup a text slider, you may want to consider the following workarounds:

    a) Setting up your text as images on a third party service and then upload those images to a gallery section that you can set to be a slideshow.

    b) Split your text in between several posts in a Blog Page. You may want to add the text as the post title and/or excerpt and then use a Carousel Summary Block pulling content from the Blog Page. You'll be able to set the Summary Block to display the post excerpt if you would like.

  15. Hi @Melchior and @matthewhodges,

Thank you for flagging the issue with reordering projects in Portfolio pages. We’ve noted this for our Design and Engineering teams to review, and they’ll use this feedback when implementing fixes and improvements in future releases.

Also, I'd like to point out that for any issues you might experience with the Squarespace platform and/or any feedback you'd like to be logged, contacting our Customer Support team is the best approach.
