  1. Good luck everyone. My email has been down for 2 months now, with zero help from squarespace support, and now my domain isn't even listed under my account despite owning it for the next year. RIP squarespace, time to short their stock
  2. My domain was also removed from my dashboard, and support is not responding. There is something SERIOUSLY wrong with squarespace's infrastructure, likely due to the hacks: https://krebsonsecurity.com/2024/07/researchers-weak-security-defaults-enabled-squarespace-domains-hijacks/ Can someone from squarespace please confirm? This is causing outages across all these domains (including my own).
  3. @jeremysnp, how do we get access to the squarespace board of directors information?
  4. My google workspace domain has been broken for 2 months, good luck to anyone trying to get support. I can't wait for this class action lawsuit.
  5. PSA: It seems like there's been a breach of private data and our domains, and is probably causing all of our issues. Source; https://www.theregister.com/AMP/2024/07/15/squarespace_fingered_for_dns_hijackings/ There have been numerous posts with people running into issues with their nameservers, and it turns out that not only are the sites broken, there may have been a breach, which could explain why everything is just broken, with absolutely no information coming from the squarespace team whatsoever Other notable companies with actual security teams have confirmed that there were breaches with their company domains:

  7. I highly recommend against switching to squarespace. Just take a look at all of the existing support requests, and you'll immediately see how terrible the service is at this piece of garbage service. My domain has been broken for over two months, and support has been unable to help whatsoever, simply telling me that the engineering team is looking at it. Do NOT transfer your domain to squarespace, you will 100% regret it.
  8. For anyone coming across this - I highly recommend NOT transferring to squarespace. Look at all of the support requests with absolutely no response - and these are the people who've exhausted all their options because support has not been helping them, and have had to turn to the COMMUNITY FORUMS. Go with any other domain provider, who *actually* has a customer service team and an engineering team that knows what they're doing.
  9. do NOT transfer it to squarespace. just take a look at all of the support requests with absolutely no response. My domain has been broken for two months, with no ability to unlock or transfer away to another host. Just take a look at all of the other businesses whose domains are completely broken because of this ridiculous business. They had so much time to prepare for this and it's still in this state.
  10. There are countless posts about this, with no communication whatsoever about any fixes or updates. Nameservers seem to be completely broken - there's no way to update them, and the "squarespace nameservers" simply do not work. My domain has been broken for nearly TWO MONTHS now, and I have yet to receive any support from this flaming hot piece of garbage. Your "STATUS" page is a complete lie: https://status.squarespace.com/. How can all systems be operational when there are multiple businesses here that are being held hostage by your engineering team? I am unable to unlock my domain to even transfer it. How is this not a class action lawsuit just waiting to happen? This is absolutely ridiculous.
  11. @derricksrandomviews, there are multiple posts about domain issues, businesses not being able to renew, and issues with nameservers. Customer support has been unable to help many of us, and our businesses are actively losing money and the ability to even handle basic things like email because of these issues. I personally have tried to escalate things on the customer support end, but continue to run into roadblocks and ignored queries, and can't even move my domain to another provider because of a "domain lock" on my domain. How can we get support for these domain issues?
  12. I've been having the same issue with my domain, except it's been inaccessible for over a month and a half. I've tried to escalate multiple times, I've opened multiple tickets. I've manually re-purchased my domain, but the nameservers are still mapped to google ones, which don't seem to resolve, which means my email doesn't work either. Squarespace support has been completely non-existant, they say that they've escalated to their "engineers", but it's been two weeks since then, with zero updates even when I press them. This is absolutely ridiculous. I can't even migrate my domain away from them because their "domain lock" also can't be disengaged. They're essentially holding my business hostage, and I have no idea what to do. @Ambroza, any advice on how to get them to actually look at the ticket?
