@johnbuedel Someone may have a better solution for this but what I've done in the past is use a unicode character instead of an actual bullet point.
This means that the text won't have the indentation that a bullet point would, but all you have to do is copy past this • into the description box! Super easy.
Here are other unicode options: https://insidethesquare.co/unicode-for-squarespace

@idezinesolutions There's a chance your image has an overlay applied! This can happen on both banner and individual images.
Select your image and click on the pencil Click 'Design' at the top of the mini menu Toggle off the Overlay Below is a screenshot of what it looks like when when an overlay is active.
If that's not the case, let us know and we'll further brainstorm 🙂 Sharing a link so we can take a look directly is always helpful.

WCS reacted to ethanchan145 in How can I add small annotation-like text (superscript)?
    There are Unicode superscript characters.
    Superscript: ᴬᴮᶜᴰᴱᶠᴳᴴᴵᴶᴷᴸᴹᴺᴼᴾᵠᴿˢᵀᵁⱽᵠˣʸᶻᵃᵇᶜᵈᵉᶠᵍʰᶦʲᵏˡᵐⁿᵒᵖᵠʳˢᵗᵘᵛᵠˣʸᶻ¹²³⁴⁵⁶⁷⁸⁹⁰
    Subscript: ₐBCDₑFGₕᵢⱼₖₗₘₙₒₚQᵣₛₜᵤᵥQₓYZₐᵦ𝒸𝒹ₑ𝒻𝓰ₕᵢⱼₖₗₘₙₒₚᵩᵣₛₜᵤᵥᵩₓᵧ𝓏₁₂₃₄₅₆₇₈₉₀
You can copy these characters and paste them.

WCS got a reaction from gcart in What are your best practices for mobile styling?
Hi @drunkbeetle, welcome to the forum!
While you could technically use code to have 2 different sets of design, it's not a good idea for your site's health or for SEO. Sometimes it makes sense to hide 1 section and show another on mobile but that's on a small scale.
There are things you can change on mobile view that don't impact the desktop design:
Button size Layout of items (text, images, etc.) Image size Text block size However, you can't change the below without it modifying on desktop:
Image alignment Text alignment or color Settings to list items Basically, you can move items and change the boundary box without it altering your desktop design -- these changes are more about where items go. However, changing the content or styling of a text box, image, etc. will appear on both desktop and mobile.
💡 If you're designing on a monitor, your settings and window size may modify the mobile preview. I'd highly recommend updating a section and then checking on your phone to see if the two versions are close. If they aren't, you may need to adjust your set up.
There is CSS that can be applied to modify list carousels, text styling, and more. If there are specific places where you're struggling, post your issue with a screenshot, link, and password (if your site isn't launched yet, you'll need to go to Settings > Site Visibility > Password Protected and set a password). 😊

Hi @KelliRad! Your photography work is stunning. Congratulations on getting a website up!
I'd recommend making a few updates:
Put your logo / site title in your navigation so that people don't have to refer to your domain name or footer to know who you are.  Adding a background color to your website footer will help it feel a little more complete. I'd also suggest adding a sentence or two about who you are / what you do.  It looks like you have 2 links to your instagram in your footer but you only need one. 🙂 As a photographer, don't forget that implementing some basic SEO practices you can help you reach a wider audience. Take a look at Squarespace's guide for some tips: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205814568-Increasing-your-site-s-visibility-to-search-engines

WCS got a reaction from Tiny_Coast in Creating the right color palette for you
Whenever I design, I always look at current trends, local competition, and industry leaders to determine how to use my client's branding. When reviewing their color palette, I take into consideration their brand personality and target audience to make sure I'm using the colors in a way that properly communicates who they are.
For example, if it's a boutique I make sure I'm utilize their neutrals more than any other colors. For more energetic sites, I utilize either brighter colors or larger sections of color.
I typically start by determining what the button accent color is, then what 2 - 3 section backgrounds I want to use. Lastly, I select the footer color to compliment the other decisions I've made.
The three most common color-related errors I see when revitalizing sites are:
1 -- People have low contrast buttons. You want to make sure that button text is highly legible!
2 -- People use mid-tone grey text. Not everyone has great eyesight and browsers + devices display text differently.
3 -- People only have white backgrounds. With 7.1, it's so easy to use fun splashes of color or calming light neutrals to break up the content on your page. Give your content distinction and utilize different backgrounds.
