gslkg_web
Hi. Once a user enters the password for a password-protected page, how long until that password sessions ends and the user would need to re-enter the password? With individual password-protected pages, there isn't a way to "logout" is there? Thanks. Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
A person does not need to re-log on unless they leave the site, and that log-on is not needed if they log back on soon after leaving. The site remembers the password stored in the sign-on device cookie cache for a certain amount of time. What that is I don't know for sure. Link to comment
gslkg_web
Thanks. How might I find out the amount of time the sign-on device cookie is cached? Link to comment

It is a "session cookie" called "Locked" so it doesn't have a maximum age like permanent cookies. It will be deleted when the current session ends. The user's browser defines when the "current session" ends. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️ gslkg_web 1 About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017.
