gslkg_web Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Hi. Once a user enters the password for a password-protected page, how long until that password sessions ends and the user would need to re-enter the password? With individual password-protected pages, there isn't a way to "logout" is there? Thanks.
derricksrandomviews Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 A person does not need to re-log on unless they leave the site, and that log-on is not needed if they log back on soon after leaving. The site remembers the password stored in the sign-on device cookie cache for a certain amount of time. What that is I don't know for sure.
gslkg_web Posted April 3, 2023 Author Posted April 3, 2023 Thanks. How might I find out the amount of time the sign-on device cookie is cached?

It is a "session cookie" called "Locked" so it doesn't have a maximum age like permanent cookies. It will be deleted when the current session ends. The user's browser defines when the "current session" ends. Did this help?
