Is it possible to reuse forms? Or have the same form on multiple pages?

These are the directions I find. But, they don't seem relevant.

To reuse a form in Squarespace, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page or post where the form you want to reuse is located.

  2. Click on the form block to select it.

  3. Click on the "Duplicate" button in the top right corner of the form block.

  4. Go to the page or post where you want to reuse the form, and click on the "Add Block" button.

  5. Scroll down and select the "Form" block.

  6. Click on the "Duplicate" button in the top right corner of the new form block.

  7. The duplicated form will now appear on the page or post, and you can edit its fields and settings as needed.

Note: Keep in mind that the changes you make to one form will not affect other instances of the form, so if you want to make changes to the form in multiple places, you will need to update each instance individually.

Not in the sense of there is a repository of your sites forms which you can pick from at will to place anywhere.

You may find Saved Sections useful in sharing forms across pages

The instructions appear to be for a Fluid Engine page section. If your section is a Layout Engine (Classic Editor) then the instructions don't apply.

Let us know how it goes.

...and I see the duplicate icon. When I click on that, it simply duplicates the exact content on that same page. That is not what I want to do. Seems odd that I cannot automatically have the same email sign-up form on multiple pages without have to rebuild each one from scratch every time.

Hi @MJB1923 Did you try "saved section" as suggested by @creedon?

If not, you can try just copy and pasting the form block. I can do this with CTRL+C, CTRL+V.

This issue is also related to this forum question about not being able to manage/delete forms. I've just started managing an existing sit that has several dupes of the same type of form, with slightly different names, all with different storage. It'd be great to be able to create a single form and have it deployed on several pages, with a form manager that lets users edit and delete redundant forms.

This it would be a great feature, I want the same form on a number of pages and having to recreate everytime seems unnecessary. I can't use the saved section feature, as I want to post the form into a blog.

I wrote this guide, this for Newsletter Block, but you can use it for Form Block

Note: this will require a custom plugin

Darn - this is another square space feature that makes no sense. We have multiple pages for programs and want to have a single waitlist to collect (and store in google sheets) submissions for follow-up. But creating and managing individual waitlists and google sheets is frustrating.

related to this - can you specify or change the google sheet the form results are stored in? It seems to me the only option is to create a new sheet for each form.
