Bymygo
I followed squarespace format to import products in Bulk. No matter what I try I get this error message: add product type column. Could you help me resolving this issue? Link to comment

Your CSV file requires a Product Type column and for each product you will need to specify whether it is a Physical or Service product. Bymygo
Hi Paul, Thanks for the advice. Tried it, still nothing. Maybe there is an issue in this specific document. I will create a new one. Link to comment
paul2009
Did you try using the template they provide? Add a single product to it and test the process so you are familiar with it. If this works, you’ll know the template is ok and you can add further products. covers 1 Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. I downloaded their template and tried to upload it into my shop,... even their .csv shows an error. - I tried it with Google Sheets (no luck) - I tried excel, but again nothing - Tried Numbers - also no luck I copied and pasted from each program to another, and deleted PRODUCT ID and VARIANT ID away, (recommended from another article) again with no luck. Have no clue what else to do,... I have to upload at least 150 products online, and doing it one by one is taking too much time. Please HELP!!! Link to comment

Just leave the cells blank and SS fills in the info for you. I have an example file that I use for testing. This one has variants. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qD3udQ1AYqxqFDn3QFoAm_1zfvdkwrek7punK0tGjeU/edit?usp=sharing I suggest you get an import working with it. Then get a couple of items importing from your data. Then once you have a couple of yours importing, move onto the rest. Let us know how it goes. Find my contributions useful?
