Bombastion Posted August 8, 2022 Posted August 8, 2022 Site URL: https://www.lastpodcasts.com/ Hey there! I've been running multiple podcasts off of a single blog using tags as a way to filter my RSS feeds (which I then pass through Feedburner to clean up a bit). Feedburner's not really working any more, so I was going to separate my shows into separate blogs, since they currently share metadata through the single blog. Is there an easy way to merge blog feeds? I still want posts from one blog to show up in the other (I have some JS running that pulls from the main feed to render some stuff). The best idea I've come up with is to move all the posts to a new blog, make copies, and move the copies back to the main blog. In the future, I'd basically have to do this for every new post (until I clean up my code to pull from the new sources). Does anyone have a better idea how to do something like this?
creedon Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 (edited) SS does not have this capability and there is no easy way to achieve it with SS's built-in features. The only thing I can suggest is to try to find an RSS aggregator that allows you to embed code in your site to render the aggregated feed. derricksrandomviews Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 Check out follow.it which used to be SpecificFeeds. Follow.it is updated, unlike Feedburner which has not changed in about ten years.
zoester300 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I needed to do this and actually it's really easy! Go to one of your blogs, click to select all the ones you want to move, hit 'move...' and select the new destination. Takes seconds! Well done squarespace 😄
