I'm refering to the text circled in red. 

This is my (demo)Blog-Container Page. By default it shows the author and the date under every post. I don't need to show those infos, and I'd  rather like to freely write a (very)little description of the content of the post instead

On this template, blog metadata is shown below blog titles. The default settings are for Author and Date but you can choose which metadata to display (or hide) within Design > Site Styles

Whilst viewing the page, open the Site Styles panel and look for the BLOG: METADATA section where you'll find the available options:
