Tweaking the Squarewebsite Universal Filter - active filter on page load

Hello everyone,

I am using the awesome Universal Filter provided by Squarewebsites and it works fantastically.

However, I just need to make a slight tweak.

Is there a way to have one of the options already active on a page load?

Just as an example, is it possible to have the 'Slender tag' already selected with the summary block already displaying the results.

Heya. Yes, I have sent an email to Squarewebsites, although I have not received a response yet. 

This has been solved.

You can use the initState snippet to set an active option on page load.

I think this is exactly what I need to do. If I use initstate, will the filter on the page still be able to filter/show items that may not have the initstate filter? 

Do you happen to have the whole code? My script writing is not great and I keep "breaking" the unifilter when I add things.

To set the plugin up for default Alphabetical sorting, you need to add the following line directly after "Settings -> position.

initState:{sort:['Alphabetical|asc']}, // Define what options need to be enabled on filter start
