  1. Hi, I'm using a blog to create a filterable portfolio for my web page. I'm using summary blocks, referencing the blog, to display certain projects that are filtered by category. I've placed the categories in the projects and selected the category I want the summary block to filter by in the edit menu, however, even though the categories are selected, and placed in the "blog posts" it is not filtering to just those projects. Also, I'm noticing that my Summary Block menu looks different than other ones I've seen on line. It only has a "Content" and "Design" tab and not a "Content" "La
  2. Site URL: https://www.davidzipper.com/articles @michaeleparkour thanks for your awesome universal filter plugin. Need some help with advanced use. I'm wondering if there's a way to show the number of items that each tag contains. See the example below - that's what I am hoping to achieve. showItemsCount only shows the total number of items in the entire container. Secondarily, I'd like to rank the tags in order by highest frequency to lowest. So: Safety (6) Federal Policy (5) Cars (3) Climate (2) Bikes (2) ...etc. Thanks for your help.
  3. Site URL: https://www.visualmediachurch.com/ Hey! Been using universal filter on a 7.0 site for years, we just updated to 7.1 by building a new site. The 'Categories' tag for the filter works fine in the preview window for the site but won't show up on the Live site. Any ideas?
  4. Site URL: https://dirtyrubbers.com/exs Hey everyone, I recently purchased Universal Filter from SQUAREWEBSITES and tried installing it by injecting the code on my site but it doesn't seem to be working. My goal is to have the Filter work on all summary product pages of my site. I wasn't sure how to do that though, so to start with I only targeted the CSS selector of the summary block located on this page (#block-7739bbdad2f9392982d3): https://dirtyrubbers.com/exs Here's what I have so far after inserting the CSS selector mentioned above: // Header Injection <link rel="styl
  5. -webkit-backdrop-filter: saturate(110%) blur(10px); backdrop-filter: saturate(110%) blur(10px); For saturate filter, it is giving me the error: error evaluating function `saturate`: e.toHSL is not a function. (In 'e.toHSL()', 'e.toHSL' is undefined) Is there a way around this?
  6. Site URL: https://justgoodjuju.com/bracelets On the page (https://justgoodjuju.com/bracelets) we have a filter list (using Categories) that is presented on the Left Hand side. When there are a lot of products (select All) and you scroll down, the filter list does stick but it does not stick at the top (i.e. the topmost category showing is Accent - Gold when I would like it to be the All). I just can't seem to latch onto what I need in order to make it stick 'higher' in the list. I had thought that by altering 'top' I could achieve it (as I assumed top indicates the point at which the
  7. Site URL: https://www.crliquidators.com Hey guys, is there a way to make a filter button for the product pages, like: search by date, price lowest to highest, free shipping, etc.
  8. Hello everyone, I've been making a website on squarespace and I struggle with something so I came here to see if any of you could help me out. I have a page with pictures of wedding locations and I want to add a left sidebar with filters. I already added tags to my pictures (amount of guests, lakeside or not, etc.) because I read somewhere that this is needed to make the filter work. But how can I add the sidebar for all filter options and connect them so that when I choose a filter, the list of pictures gets updated. It's also necessary that I can set more filters (I want to fi
  9. Site URL: https://ellakaleta.com/words-of-wisdom Hi guys, I'd like to be able to sort my articles (text only) by subject categories. The page I'm referring to in particular: https://ellakaleta.com/words-of-wisdom with the categories being: culture, activism, etc. at the top. The effect I'm going for is like this exemplar page: https://www.honuboba.com/shop, where products can be selected by category. The difference is the latter is V.7.1 and uses images/products. I'd like to achieve the same function with V.7.0 and text only. I have attempted a workaround with converting
  10. Hi all, On previous websites we could use the Summary Block to show only blog posts tagged or categorized with a certain topic on a page. It seems like this functionality has been removed in SquareSpace 7.1? (why would they do this??) What I want to do: We have individual web pages for each of our company's programs. We would like to show the three most recent blog posts that are tagged (or have the "category") for that program on the program page. So each of our 3-4 program pages would have a section of the page with a blog 'feed' showing the 3 most recent blog posts for that sp
  11. I am trying to create a portfolio site..(Im using Avenue) I will have multiple galleries of different projects in an index page. I would like to be able to have links to filter the portfolio content. I know I can create Catergories for images within a gallery, and filter within that gallery... is there a way to filter across multiple galleries? I.e. I'd like to have categories like Branding | Website Design | Infographic Design | Marketing Collateral and then when say Infographic Design is clicked upon, only galleries that have an image with the Category Infographic Design will show up. Si
  12. Hello I am working on a project page for a design firm in 7.1 The PLAN was to make a project gallery and then use the Universal Filter (https://www.squarewebsites.org/products/universal-filter) to filter projects by type/service/etc... and do so via TAGS and CATEGORIES The user would filter, then clock on the image and then it would link to a project page. An example is here (https://corn-apricot-zn88.squarespace.com/gallery). If you click on the first image (fire station) you see what we want visually. But we NEED them to filter! Now I see that the only place to add tags is
  13. Hey there! I'm wondering if anyone knows how to change the text that says 'ALL' in the 'Sort & Filter' option on the products page (shop page). I'm finding this page very minimal in choices when filtering. Website: https://artbuzz-today.squarespace.com/ passcode: today Page: shop Template: Brine I just need to change 'ALL' to say 'ALL ARTISTS' instead. Is this possible? Also...is there a way to add the tags as well as the category here? Thank you! Carrie
  14. Site URL: https://teal-alligator-kmg7.squarespace.com/ Hi there! I'm trying to make a handful of changes to the navigation menu for the categories on my shop page and running into some difficulty. 1. Currently the navigation menu only displays on Shop > All but I'd like it to stay visible no matter which category a user clicks on. 2. If possible, I'd like to highlight the category the user is currently viewing with a green background, essentially making the category title a button, is this possible? 3. There's a bunch of empty space in between the Main Nav and the Category
  15. Hiya, I was wondering if there is a way to create filters / tag with squarespace 7.1? Looking for something similar as per attached image. Thanks, Lindy
  16. Hi, I would like to make a frontpage with an introduction of myself and then a section with my portfolio where you should be able to filter to view only for example "campaign" "illustration" and "graphic design" Does anyone have an idea for how to make this? Should I add the images as products or blogposts? Is there any way to have this in squarespace in a smooth way? like this feature: http://mportfolio.galaxy-themes.com/fashion/ Kind regards Lisbet
  17. Site URL: https://muffinarmstrong.com.au/ Hello, Is there a way to add a pop up filter menu that allows our customers to filter by colour, materials, etc? See attached example. Regards, Adrian
  18. Site URL: http://studiobarnhus.com/ Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to adjust 2 things on the mobile version of a site Im working on. the password for the site is "barnhusstudio12q". Issue 1 (category filters): I would like these links/filters to simply appear at the top, with the active link in blue color. Right now theres a + for expanding and opacity and alot of mess, I can seem to figure out how to disable this without removing it all together.... Issue 2 (mobile menu): If it's possible I would like to do a full screen mobile menu with a white background and a c
  19. Site URL: https://www.conferencenational.com.au/otamhf2020 The filter at the bottom of the hotel names/magnet is not working. Not sure how to fix this. Cannot see reference to this in the coding to fix error.
  20. Site URL: https://www.copperhead.media/portfolio Hi everyone, I was glad to see there was a dedicated "project" feature on 7.1 to best display my portfolio projects, but I am finding limits in potentially being able to filter projects by category or tags. For example, I would like to be able to have a category menu bar above my projects where you can select certain project types, such as "graphic design" or "portrait photography" to sort and display the relevant items. Would this be difficult to work around? or to custom code? or perhaps I'm just missing something.
  21. Does anyone know if its possible to create a filterable image gallery in 7.1? For example, filter images by subject, color, type.
  22. Hi there! My website is fertha-s.squarespace.com My question is this: Is there a way to add an additional layer of product information that can be used to further filter out products of a specific category... I.e. If I click +shop women > Dresses I'd like users to be able to refine by colour, size and price. An example of what I mean can be found on the Ben Sherman website here - on the left hand side of the page. Essentially it's a tickbox that will filter down based on those 3 criteria. I've tried tagging products and then using the archive block BUT this method displays all result
  23. Site URL: https://oriole-springtail-hljg.squarespace.com/config/design Hi - I'm trying to embed a spreadsheet from gsheets with the ability to filter columns. Once the link is embedded, the sheet loses the ability to filter. Thanks in advance for anyone's help. Jonathan
  24. Site URL: https://www.foresthub.co.uk Hi, I run a community website and I'm looking to add a 'Property for sale' page. As there would be upto 100 properties on there I'd need viewers to be able filter down by things such as area, minimum/maximum price, number of bedrooms etc. My site is set up using the Tudor template and I've been advised this kind of filtering system would only be available by using coding. They said I could set up a blog page and use tags and categories but then the filtering side would be very limited. Can anyone advise if this is right and if so, what I need to do w
