Thank you for flagging this issue. We’ve noted this for our Design and Engineering teams to review, and they’ll use this feedback when implementing fixes and improvements in future releases.

As a workaround for the time being, you might want to consider either copying/pasting the hex code you want to use, or alternatively type it manually without the hashtag, then add the hashtag at the end.
