MonicaCascadiaFootAnkle
Site URL: https://www.cascadiafootandankle.com We are a medical clinic. We invoice patients their balance due after their insurance finalizes. We would like to accept payments on our website through Stripe but not sure how to do this. Everyone's balance due is different. I would like them to be able to click a button that says PAY HERE, and then enter the amount they are paying with their credit card info. Has anyone else run into this? Is this possible? Do I need a programmer to come in and do something? Thanks in advance! Link to comment
Solution paul2009 Posted February 7, 2021 Solution Share Posted February 7, 2021 Squarespace has been designed for e-commerce where payment amounts are fixed and known. It isn’t built for payments against invoices. An alternative option may be to use the online payment option included with your accounting package used to generate your invoices. Most of these now include this feature and will prompt the user for the amount they owe, rather than a box where they can enter the amount incorrectly. Is this something you’ve looked into? swag84
Is there any kind of workaround to this!? Donation will accept payment but then the automatically-generated email language is not editable ("donation" instead of "payment")? Frustrating issue as my client was told multiple times that the site can accept payments, but no, not in the way that is needed....She may dump Sqsp as a result. Link to comment
